Torvil was moving around the house, working on cleaning it.

Ala had gone out for a while, she wanted to run a couple errands before she got big to the point of staying home 90% of the time

Torvil finally finished and lounged on the couch, eyes closed, listening to the sounds of silence.

Ala returned a while later. She'd done her errands, thankfully they were errands that didn't require her carrying much if anything. She landed lightly on the house's roof and sat down

Torvil heard her land and got up, heading outside and sitting beside her.

"You really do have good hearing" she said with a chuckled when he sat with her

Torvil chuckled. "Have ta... Can't always see your quarry..."

Ala chuckled "I'm a quarry now?" she placed her hand on his knee giving it a squeeze

Torvil chuckled. "No..." He nuzzled the side of her head.

"Good" she said turning and kissing his cheek softly

Torvil purred, and kissed her cheek in return. "Why didn't you come in?"

"Just was enjoying the outdoors for a while. Nice and sunny out here" she told him with a small shrug

Torvil nodded and nuzzled her again.

Ala smiled softly leaning against him

Torvil hugged her close with an arm, purring happily as he kissed her forehead.

"So what have you been doing today?" she asked him with a glance at him

"Cleaning..." He purred, cuddling.

Ala chuckled "Yeah I suppose the house needed it"

Torvil nodded. "I even put a book shelf up in Bump's room..."

Ala chuckled "Need some wall shelves too for knickknacks.. and I think I need to look at a catalogue for a toy box"

Torvil nodded and nuzzled her. "I'll pick some up later..."

Ala nodded "I didn't go as far as Aekea" she said with a nod

Torvil nodded. "Would be quite the trip..."

"Too far of a trip for me right now" Ala said with a nod "At least without a lot of breaks"

Torvil nodded. "I'll go in a bit..." It was a long trip for him even...

"No rush love, I don't think bump is coming for a while" she said with a nod

Torvil nodded. "Which is good, because I'm enjoying bump as bump..."

Ala laughed "I'm enjoying bump as bump too." she cuddled closer to him

Torvil purred and slid her into his lap.

Ala smiled "You like doing that don't you" she giggled

Torvil nodded. "Closest we can get right now..." He purred.

Ala nodded "Sounds about right all things considering" Ala patted her belly as she spoke

Torvil nodded and nuzzled her neck, he hands going to her belly.

"So what's on the plate to do tonight?" she asked looking towards him

"Cuddle... Eat... Cuddle..."

Ala laughed "Sounds like you have everything all planned out" she mused, her wings pushed from his grip so she could fold them into her body

Torvil chuckled and smiled. "Then take a walk and cuddle... Eat... and cuddle..."

Ala laughed and turned her head to kiss him

Torvil purred and kissed her happily.

Ala smiled breaking the kiss then giving him two small pecks

Torvil purred and started to rub her tummy.

Ala chuckled "You know... you are starting to remind me it's time to eat by doing that"

Torvil chuckled. "Then lets go eat..."

Ala nodded "Sounds like a good idea to me... long as it's not greasy" she cringed at the thought

Torvil nodded. "I was thinking soup and crackers..."

Ala laughed "I think I'm getting you addicted to that"

Torvil chuckled. "Well..." He picked her up and jumped back to the ground. "It works..."

Ala nodded "That it does, and you can cook it this time" she said with a nod and a giggle

Torvil chuckled. "Alright..."

Ala chuckled "Are we going in?" she asked still in his arms

Torvil nodded, and walked inside, heading for the kitchen.

Ala smiled "So what kind you going to make?"

Torvil thought for a moment putting her in a chair. "I was thinking Chicken and rice..."

Ala leaned on the table and reached for the ever-present sleeve of crackers "That sounds good"

Torvil nodded and headed for the pantry.

Ala munched on her crackers watching him

Torvil brought the soup out and put it in a pan, starting to cook it.

"Least soup is easy to make" she said with a nod

Torvil nodded, getting some bowls and spoons.

Ala munched quietly on her crackers

Torvil finished cooking the soup, served it up and walked over. He placed her bowl in front of her.

"Thanks love" she said grabbing a handful of crackers and crushing them into her bowl before starting to eat

Torvil smiled and started to eat.

Ala relaxed and ate, soup was one thing she was finding not to be too taxing on her system overall

Torvil ate and crushed some crackers into his after a few bites.

Ala looked up when she heard the crackers and grinned "someone likes crackers now" she mused

Torvil chuckled. "They're alright... I like the texture..."

Ala shook her head and worked on finishing up her meal

Torvil ate and took a few more crackers, eating them as he finished up the soup.

Ala leaned on the table munching on dry crackers again once she was done.

Torvil smiled and move his chair over to hers.

Ala smiled "You know there are more comfortable places to cuddle then the kitchen table"

Torvil purred and stood, scooping her up and heading for their room.

Ala laughed and wrapped her arms around him still holding the cracker in her hand

Torvil purred and put her down on their bed, he moved over to her.

Ala chuckled and finished off her cracker. "Well this is a more comfy spot then the table"

Torvil nodded and purred, pulling her close to him when he reached her.

Ala purred softly cuddling up against him

Torvil purred and snuggled her happily. "Love ya..."

"I love you too" she said. Ala cuddled happily with him, being close is one thing she thoroughly enjoyed

Torvil purred and cuddled closer to her, his hands coming to rest on Bump.

Ala sighed softly putting her hand on his. "One day bump will kick you" she said with a smile

Torvil purred happily. "Can't wait..."

Ala closed her eyes relaxing. She was at that moment in a very peaceful mood unlike the night before

Torvil purred and nuzzled her head softly.

Ala purred softly cuddling closer as he nuzzled

Torvil purred and snuggled her as close as he could, his hands still resting on bump as he nuzzled her hair.

"We should talk while we snuggle" she mused

Torvil chuckled. "We probably should..." He purred. "Unless our mouths deem it better to be otherwise occupied...

Ala laughed "Yes unless they find other things to do"

Torvil purred and kissed the back of her head. "But yes, talking... what to talk about?"

"I'm sure we can figure something out" she said looking towards him "whether it be the kids, things around the house or shop or other things going on in our lives"

Torvil chuckled. "Hmmm... Yes... I should probably visit Torvin, soon..." He chuckled and nuzzled her. "And Selene and her kids."

"We probably should, before the flight is too long" she said with a nod

Torvil nodded. "We could go now..."

"Now?" Ala looked at him "Yes I suppose we could" she said with a nod

Torvil smiled and picked her up.

Ala laughed "Let me fly at least part of the trip it's really not all that far of a trip"

Torvil nodded and put her down.

Ala pecked his cheek with a small kiss as she headed for the door

Torvil smiled and walked with her, heading out of the house before taking flight.

Ala headed out of the house right after him letting her wings unfold and spread wide before taking to the air after him

Torvil flew towards the village. He wondered what his son was doing just then, as well as his daughter and her children. He hoped that he could talk to Torvin for a time, as well as maybe help him with any problems he might be facing.

Ala moved through the air along side of him, her hands resting on her belly as she flew

Torvil smiled at her, keeping a decent pace, best not to over tax her.

Ala looked over at him giving him a smile "Not sure what Vin will be doing, good chance he's spending time with that girl" she said

Torvil nodded. "I'm sure... We'll check his house all the same..." He chuckled, and flew.

Ala laughed "I guess I'll have to show you where that is" she said with a nod

Torvil chuckled. "Yeah, yea you will..."

Ala landed shortly outside the village taking a large breath to catch her breath

Torvil purred and scooped her up. "Take a breather."

Ala laughed "You know they'll look at you odd if you carry me in there, they'll think I'm about to give birth"

Torvil chuckled. "So? Make them be on their toes..."

Ala laughed "You are a brat my love" she said letting her wings fold

Torvil smiled. "Am I now?" He approached the gate holding her tight to him.

Ala nodded, she looked towards the gate and saw the gathering guardnin, she also noticed Alix was not there and figured he must have been done his shift or off

Torvil smiled and stopped. "Ala and Torvil Rakamash, here to visit our son and daughter..." He looked around at them.

Thanks to his calmness this time they checked the list and let the two of them in without any problem this time

Torvil smiled and walked on through the gate. "Show me Torvin's house we'll stop by there first..."

Ala laughed "put me down and I will" she said with a grin

Torvil chuckled and put her down. "Don't you like being carried love?"

"I'm not an invalid" she said "Besides you can carry me home" she said with a laugh and headed towards the town center

Torvil chuckled. "But I like carrying you..." he wrapped an arm around her waist as they walked.

Ala chuckled "I know you do" she said leaning against him her own arm wrapped around him

Torvil purred, and walked with her, waiting for him to tell her which house it was. He saw a park up ahead.

Ala smiled as they reached the town center "Over there is the hospital and near it is that park and that little house is your son's little abode" she said pointing to each in turn

Torvil nodded and headed for it.

Ala followed him towards the house

Torvil reached the house and found it dark. He knocked on the door anyway and tried the knob. It was locked. He frowned. "Hmmm... Oh well, guess he isn't home..."

Ala chuckled "He must be out then"

Torvil nodded. "Lets go see if Selene is home..."

"That one will be a little tougher... I don't know where it is" she said with a laugh

Torvil stroked his chin. "Well I'm picking up a faint Selene trail... Lets follow it..."

Ala nodded and turned with him

Torvil scented, and followed the few days old scent to a house near the hospital. He looked to Ala.

Ala shrugged "Scent is muddled for me but it's a good chance it is" she pointed towards the back which you could just barely see swings and other kids toys

Torvil nodded and walked up to the door, knocking.

Footsteps could be heard racing for the door and a familiar voice "Wait up you three" slightly muffled behind it

Torvil chuckled and leaned against the door frame.

the door flew open and three curious faces looked up to him

Selene chuckled "Well hello mom, dad" she greeted them

Torvil smiled. "Hello, Selene... And who would these three little ones be? Relatives of Alix?" He chuckled and squatted down so he was level with them.

Selene shook her head with a laugh

the three blinked then grinned and pounced him "Grandpa!" they said recognizing his scent from Selene's stuffed dragon

Selene chuckled "This is Aidan, Naoma and Korvil" she told her father

Torvil chuckled and nodded, grabbing them all and making sure they were on him as he stood. "May we come in?" He chuckled.

Selene nodded

Ala chuckled and stepped over Torvil

Selene smiled "We're the only ones home right now"

Torvil smiled, walking in the the three kids supported on him in whatever way he could. "That's alright..." He chuckled. "We came to visit you and the kids more than Alix... Though it would be nice to see him..."

Selene chuckled "This isn't mine and Alix's house, it belongs to the Grobels. Suse and Elder Grobel. Our house is still being built up by Aunt Kal's"

The 3 kids clung to their grandfather

Ala chuckled and found a seat in the living room

Torvil chuckled. "Ah... Well then..." he smiled and pulled one off him, and sat down, ruffling the blonde hair.

Selene smiled "How are you father?" she had seen her mother a couple days previous

Aidan, Naoma and Korvil crowded around him on the couch

Torvil chuckled. "I'm good..." He smiled. "A little bored from time to time, but I'm fine..." He smiled at them and ruffled their hair.

Selene chuckled "You'll be busy enough soon" she said nodding towards her mother

Torvil chuckled. "when the time comes, it's still a long way off..."

Selene chuckled

Naoma climbed onto her grandfather's lap facing him she was watching him talk "You have pointy teeth like mommy"

Torvil chuckled. "Would make sense little one... I'm her father..." He touched her hair lightly and smiled.

"She's my mommy and I don't" Naoma made a big grin showing her teeth off which were like Alix's

Torvil chuckled and ruffled her hair. "You got your daddies teeth, and she got her daddies teeth..."

Naoma nodded and climbed off his lap bolting towards the staircase

Torvil blinked. "Where is she... Is that okay?"

Selene laughed "Our room is upstairs, she probably went up there"

Ala chuckled running a hand over her belly "They have a lot of energy love"

Torvil chuckled. "I hope ours has half as much... and only half..."

Ala laughed a lot at that "And it's you who says the house is too quiet"

Naoma ran up the stairs a few minutes later hauling Selene's dragon with her "You smell like this" she said coming back to him

Torvil chuckled and took it. "Would make sense... It's made from some of my old clothes... Your aunt made it..."

Ala looked at Selene who blushed slightly that her daughter had revealed she had brought the toy with her

Naoma giggled and climbed back onto his lap "I like it"

Torvil smiled at Naoma, as well as Selene. "That's good..." He kissed the little girls forehead.

Naoma sat and leaned back against him taking the dragon back. Korvil and Aidan were eying his tall horns

Torvil chuckled and smiled at the two of them. "Well boys?" He smirked, starting to brush their sister's hair.

"Our horns be like that?" Korvil asked pointing

Torvil chuckled. "Mayhaps..." He smirked. "You're Korvil aren't you?"

Korvil nodded "Uh huh"

Torvil smiled. "You look just like your great-grandfather..." He reached out and stroked the boys face with his hand softly, tears coming to his eyes.

Ala smiled softly watching him with his grandkids

"I do?" Korvil looked curious and tipped his head to one side

Torvil smiled and wiped an eye. "Well minus the gem and darken your hair..." he chuckled weakly, and pulled the boy close.

Korvil leaned against his grandfather's side

Aidan pouted and leaned on Torvil's other side feeling left out

Torvil pulled Aidan into a hug and kissed the top of his head. "You do too you know..." He whispered and nuzzled the boys hair.

Ala smirked "Would make sense since those two are identical"

Aidan smiled

Torvil chuckled and snuggled with all three of the small ones. "I wish I could do this with bump..."

Ala chuckled "Soon love soon. will be a while yet"

Naoma looked up "Bump?"

Selene chuckled and curled up a bit on the armchair she sat watching

Torvil chuckled, and pointed at Ala's belly. "Bump..." He smirked.

"Oh! Baby!" Naoma grinned and tipped her head back the way it was

Torvil chuckled and kissed all three of the small ones. "You're going to have a new uncle...Or aunt..."

Naoma nodded and smiled "Yup!"

Ala smiled at him

Torvil smiled and cuddled them all close to him with a smile. "Grandfather love each and every one of you..." He chuckled and let out a sigh. "Love would you be a dear and fetch my walker... I'm feeling old..."

Ala laughed "And who is telling ME I'm not old?"

Torvil chuckled. "You're a youngin... I robbed me the cradle..." He laughed, knowing that really she was older than him, even if he did look older... Stress did that to you...

Ala shook her head "I don't think so love" she laughed happily

Torvil chuckled. "Really?" He smirked. "I coulda swore..." He grinned and nuzzled the small ones. "Selene..."

Selene looked at him "Yeah dad?"

"Have you seen Torvin lately? His house was locked up when we stopped by..."

Selene chuckled "I think he had plans to spend the weekend with Kimi"

Torvil nodded. "I need to meet this Kimi girl..." He tapped his chin.

Selene chuckled "Good luck dad, I haven't even met her yet, and I'm his twin"

Torvil chuckled. "I'm sure he'll let us meet her when he's ready..."

"I wish I had had the same option... But you now have him rather nervous of you" she said quietly

Torvil chuckled. "He shouldn't be... Not anymore..."

"First impressions last father, and you scared the shit out of him. Not to mention what Torvin did" she sighed

Torvil sighed. "Well I'll just have to fix that..." He rummaged through his jacket, pushing Naoma's head slightly.

Naoma sat up still playing with the stuffed dragon

"And how do you intend to do that dad" She asked

Torvil pulled out a small flask and looked at it for a moment. "Well.." He shook the flask up. "I intend to talk to him man to man, and explain my actions, and apologize..." He sighed. "I hate leaving first impressions like that..." He popped the lid of the flask, and vibrant colored butterflies flew out of it, and started to flutter about the room.

"Good luck getting him alone" she said smiling a bit when she saw the butterflies

"Pretty!" Naoma cried out reaching for them

Torvil smiled. "If I have to, I'll talk to him out in public..." Torvil had no shame sometimes... He smirked and caught a yellow one, and handed it to Naoma.

Selene nodded

Naoma smiled and giggled looking at the yellow butterfly now on her hand

Torvil smiled. "You want to keep it?"

Naoma nodded simply staring at it

Torvil smiled. "Then it's yours..." He kissed her forehead.

Naoma giggled showing her mother the yellow butterfly without leaving his lap

Ala looked a lil green around the gills "Selene where's your bathroom"

Selene pointed in the direction of the bathroom "2nd door that way"

Ala left the room post haste

Torvil winced, and turned green as well. He knew what was coming...

Selene looked at her dad "You ok dad?"

Torvil nodded and shook his head. "It's nothing... Just empathy for your mother..." He cleared his throat. "Do you boys one one too?" He asked as a green and red butterfly perched on each of his horns.

Korvil and Aidan nodded .. they had been staring at the butterflies

Selene nodded "I see"

Ala made it to the bathroom and closed the door behind her before loosing her lunch into the toilet

Torvil plucked the two from his horns. "Pick... I get get the others if you want... and show you how to control them if you want..." He looked up at his daughter. "Yeah... I lost mine shortly after hers..." He made a face.

Aidan and Korvil happily accepted the butterflies from their grandfather

"I can't say I have shared that experience" Selene said

Ala slowly made her way back to the living room a short time later

Torvil chuckled. "I have..." He whistled twice and all the butterflies not in the children's hands returned to the flask. He closed it and smiled. "Just whistle and your butterfly will do what you think you want it too..."

Naoma blinked and tried to imitated what her grandfather had done and succeeded in only producing a shower of spit

Selene laughed "They haven't learned to whistle yet dad"

Ala smiled weakly and sat down

Torvil chuckled. "Alright... then they can clap their hands... It's really the thought that maters..."

Ala smiled at him and rested her hands on her belly. "You look good covered in kids" she said playfully

Torvil chuckled. "Thanks, you're glowing again by the way..." He smiled, and blew her a kiss.

Ala chuckled "Thanks love" she pretended to catch the kiss and brought it to herself

Torvil purred and gave her a look that said, 'Me and you... later' He winked and went back to spending time with his grandchildren.

Ala chuckled and relaxed feeling a bit better now

Selene sighed "So what have you and mother been doing of late?"

Torvil chuckled. "Mainly puttering and cuddling..." He smiled at Ala. Hugging the small ones close.

Selene chuckled, "Sounds like fun"

All three kids clung to him once again happily

Torvil smiled and started to hum, rocking the children in his lap, and brushing their hair.

"And just think you get to do that for even longer a time this time" Ala said smiling as she watched him

The triplets cuddled close

Torvil nodded, and started to sing softly, his voice deep and strong.

Selene smirked as the three who were cuddled against her father closed their eyes, she knew they'd had a workout that day, she had been planning a nap when her parents had knocked on the door

Torvil sang for awhile, his voice never leaving the bass-baritone range. He could sing a tad above it, but sometimes he squeaked.

Selene shook her head suppressing a chuckle

Ala smiled "Well least we have a way to lull a child" she mused watching the sleeping children

Torvil smiled and slowly stopped singing, brushing their hair. "How do you feel about it Selene..." He asked suddenly.

Selene blinked "Feel about what dad?"

"Having a new sib..."

Selene smiled "It's wonderful, I'm happy for you guys" she told her father with a nod

Torvil smiled. "Good... I was hoping for that..." He smiled. "You have very beautiful children..."

Selene blushed slightly "Thanks dad, they weren't planned, but I love them very much"

Torvil chuckled. "Don't let them know that..." He kissed their foreheads. "But yes... They are wonderful..."

Selene nodded "I think they already know, but it doesn't seem to bother them."

Torvil nodded and brushed their hair as they slept. "I'll bring them some presents on my next visit..."

Selene nodded "I think it's nap time for these three" she said standing up and walking over to him

Torvil shook his head. "Nah its fine... Leave them where they lie... I like it..."

"Ok" she said with a shrug dropping back down onto the chair.

Ala smiled softly "I can only imagine what it'll be like with this little one." she said patting her belly

Torvil purred. "Hopefully as good as this, if not better..." He nodded at the sleeping children.

Ala nodded "Hopefully, though only time till tell" she said running her hand across her belly

Torvil nodded.

Ala relaxed stretching her limbs a little on the loveseat where she sat

Torvil purred contently, stroking the hair of the sleeping children.

Naoma shifted positions on his lap, Aidan smiled in his sleep and Korvil started to lightly snore

Torvil chuckled and and continued to purr, closing his eyes as well.

Ala chuckled "At this rate I think he's gonna fall asleep too" she said quietly to Selene who simply laughed

Torvil opened an eye, and stuck his tongue out at Ala, before closing it again and sighing happily.

Ala giggled happily "Well I think you just might"

Torvil chuckled. "You're probably right..." He said with a light yawn.

Aidan shifted in his sleep his elbow successfully wedging into his grandfather's side even if not on purpose

Selene chuckled "They move a lot when they sleep"

Torvil chuckled and shifted a bit, not really caring... Sure it was uncomfy, but it was nothing compared to squeezing yourself into a hole two sizes too small to sleep. He soon started to drift.

Ala chuckled and she stood, her and Selene moved up the stairs so Selene could show Ala her and the kid's room while the others dozed

Torvil opened one eye as they left, a smirk on his face. He was a bit tired though, and eventually did fall asleep.

Ala and Selene stayed upstairs for a while before they headed back down they were talking about Selene's new home that was being built

Torvil listened in on the conversation, half awake

"It's going to be really nice mom, it's right next to Aunt Kal's property" Selene said with a nod

"Well at least I know where you'll be then" Ala said in reply

"Not to mention you'll be able to have Kal baby-sit..." Torvil added with his eyes closed.

Selene laughed "I think Aunt Kal is pretty busy with Elder and Kerrsalian duties"

Ala laughed and shook her head

Torvil shrugged. "You never know..." He yawned.

Selene shook her head "she's been pretty busy lately, seems like some pretty important things going on lately"

Ala looked at him "Perhaps we should head homeward before you fall asleep completely love"

Torvil shrugged. "Already have once..." He yawned and lifted up his head. "But if you think we should..."

"Yeah I should, at top speed home is only half hour away, but I think even I could use a nap" Ala admitted "And I sleep heavier then you do"

Torvil nodded, and slowly moved the children off him.

All 3 kids were pretty heavy sleepers and none woke as they were moved

Ala turned to her daughter "Wonderful to see you sweetie" she said giving her a hug

Torvil got up and gave his daughter a hug after his wife, and kissed her forehead. "I'll be back soon, once I get those three some presents..." He chuckled and hugged her again before walking over to Ala, and putting an arm around her waist.

Selene walked them to the door and saw them off, then watched her parents walk away an arm around each other's waists

Torvil purred and waited till they were in the middle of the street to scoop Ala up and open his wings. "I'm gonna take us home express..." He looked around to make sure no one was you know, freaking out completely.

Ala shook her head "Love they keep track of visitors we need to leave from the gates"

Selene chuckled watching her father looking around then went back inside"

Torvil shook his head, but continued to carry her towards the gates. "I swear... Once this whole thing is over it'll be too soon..."

"Over.. love I doubt it ever will be they've already been dealing with it for over 20 years" she said leaning against him

Torvil made a growling noise in his throat, a light one. "Give them a few generations with our family here..." He muttered. Walking out of the gates and making sure they checked the two off before taking to the air.

Ala nodded and yawned relaxing against him

Torvil was doing the math in his head it seemed. "Sooner or later... That village is going to have a population boom..." He flew quickly.

Ala nodded "Mmmhmm" she had closed her eyes as he flew

Torvil smiled. "Our Genes will save that village much heartache..." He chuckled.

Ala didn't reply to that comment as she was asleep
