Torvil lounged abed, still having nothing to do...

Ala wandered around the front of the shop. She was tidying every thing up and making sure it was all dusted up and clean, something Vina used to do for her. Since Vina was now moved to the cliffs and her twin kids were gone too so she needed to do it

Torvil finally got up and headed to the shop, he leaned on the back door frame for a moment, looking in.

Ala smiled and hummed softly as she worked. it was quiet in the shop right then and that was just the right time to deal with cleaning up.

Torvil smiled. "You could have asked me you know..."

Ala stopped and looked over her shoulder "It keeps me busy." she said with a smile when she say her husband

Torvil chuckled. "Well I need something to keep me busy..." He pouted.

"Then grab a broom, the floor could use a sweep too" she said with a giggle as she turned towards him holding the dusting rag in her hand

Torvil smiled and got a broom starting to sweep.

Ala smiled returning to dusting off the counter and then the display cupboards "You could always work on stuff in your lab too, have you created and shadow eggs of late?"

Torvil thought. "No, and it's about time for a batch isn't it?" He chuckled.

Ala chuckled "With all luck the next batch isn't like Bane. " she said as she pulled out the keys from her pocket and opened the potions cupboard to clean up the dusty shelves

Torvil nodded and chuckled. "He been trouble? Noirag talked to me about it..."

"From what I understand he still has an evil streak, like the shadows themselves" she said lifting a flask and wiping the surface below it

Torvil nodded slowly. "Well I can't say that its not to be expected... Noirag has one as well... If you look hard enough..."

"True, but Bane doesn't make any effort to hide it at all, I think his streak is worse then Noirag's or even Shade's" she locked the cupboard back up

Torvil nodded and leaned back. "Maybe I'll talk to him about it, see what's going on..."

Ala nodded wandered around the counter wiping the front as she moved "Might be an idea, maybe he'd have suggestions how to avoid the serious evilness in the next batch"

Torvil nodded. "Or I'll just strain it more... I pretty much put pure in..."

Ala nodded "You're the one who knows what they are doing in that field" she tossed the rag onto the counter and picked up a container that was on the counter then leaned on the counter facing him. She opened it and started munching on it's contents... which just happened to be crackers

Torvil smiled softly and remember that he had to go down to Barton to get her some more... "Yeah... I'll just run it a bit more through the strainer..."

Ala nodded "I think the next batch of eggs is due in from the keeper on the 2nd of next month... perhaps you'll have time to perfect it by then?"

Torvil nodded. "No problem there, I start working on it right away..."

Ala nodded and continued to much on the crackers "Least these things settle my stomach a bit" she said with a sigh looking down into the mostly empty container

Torvil nodded. "I'll be back in a bit love..." He said softly, heading for the door.

Ala blinked "Uhm ok" she shrugged and put the container down closing it's lid. She watched him leave then wandered up the stairs to tidy up the guest rooms

Torvil came back half an hour later, laden down with several bags of boxes of crackers. He entered the shop again and put them down. He still had to go back and get the rest... He'd bought the entire store out

Ala heard the door bell chime but figured if the person needed her they'd call out. She continued to work on what she was doing replacing linens and folding stuff in the empty rooms

Torvil finished stocking and walked back out, heading back to the store.

Ala groaned and went into a guest room bathroom, she'd have to clean it again after but it was the closest one there was

Torvil returned another half hour. his total flight time had been two hours, four trips. He walked back to the house to stock it with crackers.

Ala wandered back downstairs to the front of the shop looking a lil pale and green around the gills. She wasn't aware that he had returned as she took a seat near the fire

Torvil came back in, and saw her sitting by the fire. He walked over and brushed her hair.

Ala looked up "Hey love, welcome back" she said with a smile her hand rested on her belly as she sat before the fire

Torvil smiled. "I went to get you some more crackers..." He kissed the top of her head and brushed her hair.

"Thanks" she chuckled "Somehow I have a feeling they will become a staple of my diet for a while"

Torvil chuckled. "Good, cause we need to get through four thousand two hundred and twenty-one of em..."

Ala's eyes bulged "What????" her jaw dropped, did he actually get THAT many?

Torvil thought. "Yeah... About that many... give or take a box..."

Ala shook her head "You didn't need to get quite that many love" she said with a chuckle

Torvil chuckled. "I bought out the warehouse store..." He muttered.

Ala got up from the chair and walked around it to where he was, then wrapped her arms around him "Well I'm sure the store appreciated it" she said with a smile looking up at him

Torvil smiled and wrapped his arms around her. "I'm sure..." Perhaps he should try solid food again?

Ala smiled softly at him "And I appreciate the gesture and action" she said resting her head against his chest

Torvil purred and stroked her hair. "You're welcome love, but I was only doing my job..."

Ala chuckled "Your job huh"

Torvil smiled. "Yes, as your husband, it is my job to make sure you are happy, healthy, well fed, and loved..." He kissed her forehead.

Ala smiled and looked up "And you do that well" she said tippy toeing for a kiss

Torvil purred and leaned down kissing her. A hand moved up and down her back as the other continued to caress her hair.

Ala leaned happily into the kiss purring softly. She wrapped her wraps a little tighter around him pulling herself close

Torvil purred and in one smooth motion pulled her up into his arms, keeping the kiss, he moved slowly, giving her time to move her arms as he lifted her from the ground.

Ala did move her arms, she moved them from his back to around his neck

Torvil purred happily and sat them down in the chair, one hand going back to caressing her back, another to her hair again.

Ala slowly broke the kiss and looked into his eyes with a smile

Torvil purred happily and looked back into hers, his hands stopping.

Ala smiled moving her hand from his neck to his cheek stroking the skin softly

Torvil purred softly and smiled, his hand gently stroking her hair again.

"I love you Torvil, and I'm proud to be carrying your child..." she said with a nod and a smile

Torvil smiled. "And I'm proud that you are carrying it... It's an honor..." He kissed her forehead.

Ala purred softly and relaxed laying against him and closing her eyes

Torvil smiled and started to hum.

Ala purred softly. She relaxed happily listening to his song

Torvil smiled and sang for a bit, his deep bass running through the notes.

Ala dozed softly in his arm, his humming and singing not only relaxing her but relaxing her to the point where she fell asleep

Torvil purred as she slept in his arms. He loved it when she did so, it made him feel happy that he was so soothing to her.

Ala slept contently, she hadn't been so great in the middle of the night over the last several days.

Torvil purred and brushed her hair as she slept, smiling contently.

Ala woke with a yawn a little while later

Torvil smiled. "Good nap?

Ala looked up "I did doze off didn't I" she said tiredly

Torvil nodded and kissed her forehead. "Yep, and I loved it..." He rocked her lightly.

Ala chuckled "I guess I haven't been sleeping so good in the night lately" she said with a sigh

Torvil nodded. "So I've heard..."

"Heard?" she looked at him with a braised brow sitting up in his lap

"Your breathing changes in the middle of the night..." He said stroking her hair.

Ala chuckled "I didn't know anyone paid attention to my breathing. Maybe hearing me loose my lunch is one thing but not my breathing"

Torvil chuckled. "And your mad-cap sprints to the restroom..." He nuzzled her softly.

Ala laughed and moved to get out of his lap "speaking of lunch it's about time I had another of one of my mini-meals"

Torvil nodded and let her go, smiling as he stood after she was off him.

Ala wandered through the shop and it's back room. She intended to eat something from the house but wasn't sure what.

Torvil moved with her, keeping behind her. Her hair was lovely from behind.

Ala entered the house and headed for the kitchen "Got any suggestions for lunch?" she asked

Torvil thought for a moment. "Hmmm I dunno... Soup?"

Ala chuckled "I have a feeling by the time this ends I'll never want to see soup and crackers ever again"

Torvil chuckled. "Then what of Vina's stews? I'm sure we'll visit her one day when she's made one..."

"Stew is one thing.. Soup is another" she said digging through the cupboard eventually deciding on veggie soup

Torvil chuckled. "That they are..." He sat down in a chair, watching her. She was gorgeous.

Ala started heating the food then leaned back on the counter with some crackers "You going to eat as well?" she asked him

Torvil thought for a moment, then got up and grabbed a box of crackers. He opened it and pulled one out. He nibbled the edge, then made a small face. "Bleh..."

Ala laughed "You don't have to eat the crackers love... They are probably just as bad as oatmeal... I eat them cause they settle my stomach"

Torvil nodded but finished off the cracker. It wasn't that bad, but she didn't need to know that... He slid a sleeve of them into his jacket pocket for later and put the box back. "I'll share the soup with you I guess."

Ala lifted a brow "Ok" she said moving away from the counter and turning around digging through the cupboard for a couple bowls

Torvil smiled. "I need to broaden my horizons..."

Ala laughed "Vina really made an impression on you didn't she" Ala said serving the soup up and bringing it and the crackers over to the table before grabbing utensils

Torvil chuckled and shook his head. "Well she did shove oatmeal down my gullet for a month and a half..."

Ala giggled and handed him a spoon "Well at least this has more flavor then oatmeal does" she crunched crackers up and dumped them in her own bowl

Torvil nodded and started to eat.

Ala watched him for a moment then started into her own bowl of soup

Torvil waited till she was eating to sneak some of the crackers from his jacket into his own soup.

Ala eat for a while she had been eating small meals all day and found it was helping a bit not to have an over-full stomach

Torvil finished off his soup, and smiled. Crackers and Soup tasted good... He'd have to do it more often...

Ala finished her small meal a few minutes before he did as she had given him more, she was sitting with her elbows propped on the table watching him

Torvil smiled and looked up. "That was good..." He chuckled.

Ala smiled "I didn't think you'd like it all that much, there's no meat in this one" she chuckled

Torvil chuckled. "I think I need to balance my diet... Meat alone probably isn't too good for me... Sure, I can live off it... But I want to try new things..."

Ala nodded "I see, I haven't had much desire to eat veggies myself, but I suppose I should for bump's sake"

Torvil chuckled. "Yes, bump needs balanced nutrition..." He moved his chair over next to her, and put a hand on her belly.

Ala chuckled and sat up "Yes he or she does" Ala turned to look at her husband happily

Torvil smiled and rubbed her belly lightly. "Yes, he or she needs love too... And daddy is more than willing to give it..."

Ala chuckled "Something for which I'm very glad of"

Torvil smiled and kissed her ear. "I will also give you love, and lots of it..." He purred.

Ala smiled and leaned forward giving him a gentle kiss

Torvil purred and returned the kiss, his hand moving to caress her cheek.

Ala smiled and nuzzled his hand

Torvil purred and kissed her forehead softly, his lips pressing lightly against her gem.

Ala purred softly closing her eyes

Torvil purred and brushed her hair lightly.

Ala opened her eyes looking at him with a small smile "I feel like going for a walk" she said with a smile

Torvil purred. "Sounds lovely, where to?"

Ala shook her head "No destination in mind.. just feel like getting out of the house and getting some exercise"

Torvil smiled. "Yes, it is good for bump that you exercise..." He chuckled and stood, taking her hand to help her up.

Ala smiled and took his hand, not that she really needed it yet but the took it anyways

Torvil smiled and pulled her up with ease, might as well get the practice in now... He kissed her softly and still holding her hand, headed for the front door.

Ala smiled returning the kiss then happily followed him

Once outside Torvil got them on a random path.

Ala walked peacefully along side him "Where does this one go?"

"Don't know..." He chuckled. "I wasn't paying attention..."

Ala chuckled "All right long as you know the way back it doesn't matter to me" she watched the area around her as they walked. She didn't think they'd just plain walked down that path before

Torvil chuckled. "All roads lead to home love..."

Ala laughed "Where did you pick up that corny saying"

Torvil chuckled weakly. "Somewhere... I don't know..."

Ala nodded "I guess" she squeezed his hand softly with her own

Torvil smiled. "Well in our case it is true..."

Ala chuckled "I suppose it is. Who made all the paths? or where they already here?"

"This one was here when we got here... I made most of the others..."

Ala nodded watching what they were passing. She had long since decided to watch her surroundings

Torvil walked, his eyes too watching the landscape... for black.

"There's so much areas we haven't explored around here isn't there" she mused

Torvil nodded. "Yeah..."

Ala smiled up at him "At some point we will, perhaps going for walks will let us do that"

Torvil smiled. "Yeah..." He pulled the crackers out of his jacket and started to munch on them lightly.

Ala laughed and took a couple from the wrapper then kept walking

Torvil purred. "They're not that bad... once you get over the fact that there's not a speck of meat in them..."

Ala burst out laughing "Nope not a speck of meat, and not a speck of blood. just wheat and salt and stuff like that"

Torvil chuckled. "Aye... It could use some blood I think..."

Ala giggled "Somehow I have to agree" she replied

Torvil chuckled. "When we get home again we'll fix that..."

Ala smirked. She ran a hand across her belly "definitely"

Torvil purred and walked with her. "Shall we keep going or head back?"

"Keep going for a bit, we haven't really been walking all that long" she said

Torvil chuckled. "I know... I know..." He nuzzled the side of her head.

Ala purred happily. They walked for quite a while before Ala stopped dead in her tracks

Torvil stopped as she did and looked around.

Ala pointed forward about 20ish yards ahead of them "I'm not taking another step on this path" she said starting to back up

Torvil spied the black and picked her up, turning full around and heading down the path quickly with her in his arms.

Ala sighed "Why does this area have to have so much of the stuff"

Torvil sighed. "I don't know love... But I'm going to have to come back later and get rid of it..."

Ala nodded and relaxed against him

Torvil purred lightly and held her close. "Told you I'd let no harm come to you or bump..."

Ala nodded "That you did." she smiled

Torvil nuzzled her lightly, noting the path they had entered, and storing it away for later.

Ala rested her hands on her belly "Well I guess that's one way to find out what's in the woods around us" she said wryly

Torvil chuckled and nodded. "Yeah..."

"With all hope that's the last of it" she sighed

Torvil nodded. "I'll do a sweep down the other paths tonight."

Ala nodded and closed her eyes. She'd had enough episodes with that black flower she had no desire to have a repeat, especially with an unborn child

Torvil purred softly, bringing them back into the house.

Ala opened her eyes again when she heard the door of the building open "I think I'm gonna have a nap" she said

Torvil nodded and took her to their room and lay her in bed. "I'll go take care of those flowers now..."

Ala nodded pulling the cover over her and closed her eyes, resting and trying to nap

Torvil left the house, vanishing off down the path, reaching into his pocket to check to see if the flask he needed was there.

Ala did eventually doze off

Torvil returned about an hour later, he shook his hair free of soot, and decided to take a shower.

Ala rolled over in her sleep

Torvil smiled as he tip-toed through their room to the bath.

Ala breathed peacefully, just as peacefully as she slept

Torvil took a quick shower, getting the impotent soot off of him and down the drain. He'd found no other patches in his search...

Ala sat waking with a groan she climbed out of the bed heading quickly for the bathroom

Torvil had just gotten out of the shower when she blew in.

Ala didn't really even notice him besides the fact that the room was steamy. All she cared about was making it to the toilet and she did just that

Torvil winced and turned around, not really wanting to watch his wife. He grabbed his towel and dried off, trying to drown out the noise that was to come.

When she finished she sat back with a sigh "I will not miss that part" she mumbled mostly to herself

Torvil nodded, and walked over, brushing her hair.

Ala looked up finally noticing him "Hi love" she said with a sigh

Torvil smiled down at her softly, and flushed the toilet for her. "Hey..."

Ala smiled softly and got up "Didn't realize you were in here" she admitted

Torvil chuckled. "Not surprised... I was taking a shower..."

"Did you get rid of it?" she asked before moving to wash up a bit

Torvil nodded. "Yeah..."

"Good, we don't need that stuff around here... And I don't really feel like feeling it's effects on me again" she said turning to face him

Torvil nodded, and brushed her hair. "Nor would bump, I would think..." He kissed her gem softly. "Besides, the last thing we need is that... Abomination, around while our child grows and explores..."

Ala nodded with a small smile heading out of the steamy room "I agree"

Torvil walked with her, taking his clothes to go throw them in the wash.

Ala left the room heading for the living room, once there she sat down on the couch and grabbed another container that was nearby which held... crackers

Torvil tossed his clothes in the wash, pulling out the container of crackers and tossing them in the trash, there was a small possibility they had been contaminated by the ash....

Ala sat eating her crackers staring into the empty fireplace, she looked deep in thought

Torvil came back and sat down next to her.

Ala smiled "cracker?" she laughed as she offered one to him

Torvil smiled, and took it, he chuckled lightly and ate it.

"I think we'll both get sick of them by the time I'm done" she chuckled

Torvil nodded and chuckled. "I'm sure..."

Ala munched on crackers and stared at the empty fireplace

Torvil laid his head on her shoulder, letting out a content sigh.

Ala turned her head and looked at him smiling "Now what should we do love?"

Torvil chuckled. "That I cannot answer love, as I have noooo clue what we should do..."

Ala chuckled and nodded returning to staring at the fireplace with her crackers

Torvil smiled, and looked at it. "We should probably set that going..."

Ala chuckled "If you want to love"

Torvil nodded and got up, setting it up.

Ala relaxed and watched him, she'd really not gotten around to learn how to start the fireplaces in her home

Torvil finished and started it up, using a match this time.

Ala watched him, she admired him. She was thinking to herself how thankful she was that he was hers

Torvil came back to sit beside her, his head again going to her shoulder as he purred.

Ala giggled and turned her head towards his giving him a slightly crummy kiss

Torvil chuckled and purred.

Ala smiled "Usually I'm the cuddly one"

Torvil chuckled. "So?"

"Nothing wrong with it... I'm just making an observation" Ala told him with a slight frown

Torvil nuzzled her. "I'm glad you noticed..."

Ala chuckled lightly and closed her eyes relaxing

Torvil purred, and cuddled close with her.

Ala smiled and put her container of crackers aside on the end table and rested her hand in his lap

Torvil purred and took it in his, his fingers gently working it.

Ala purred softly letting him. She was kinda bored if truth be told.

Torvil brought her hand up to his mouth. He kissed it softly.

Ala smiled opening her eyes "Gotta figure out something to do" she said

Torvil chuckled. "Just thinking the same thing..." He purred. "Were you reading my mind..." He smirked. "Didn't know you could do that..."

Ala laughed "I can't read your mind, I'm just bored too"

Torvil laughed. "I know love I know..." He nuzzled her and thought.

"I'm just glad, I'm not seeing ... them.... I don't need to be getting angry when I'm like this" she said with a sigh

Torvil purred and kissed her check. "You won't see them ever again, not unless I let them out of their little hells..." Torvil nuzzled her neck softly. He was of course, referring to his two brothers, who had been dead for awhile now.

"Somehow I have a feeling if you did they'd never change.... Malkar said they were sick in the head, liked to push you to the breaking point of anger then hide behind someone else" she said with a sigh

Torvil sighed. "Not to far off from what they did..." He hugged her close. "But no more... May their souls rot..."

Ala nodded "May they... you know your son named one of our grandsons after your father...."

Torvil nodded. "I see..." He mused. "Dad wasn't a bad man... Just a fanatic... I don't blame him for anything he did..."

Ala nodded "too strong of a fanatic. but then I think Malkar's father was worse" she said with a sigh

Torvil nodded. "I would think so... Rhazar told me later that it was Malkar's father who laid the accusation that my father was the leader... My father denied it of course..."

"To be honest, I'm glad that man isn't haunting us, he did after all blame you for his loss of power" she looked at him

Torvil chuckled. "Do you know how much he would have to do to do that?" He snuggled her. "He'd have to file about two years worth of paperwork..."

"Paperwork??" she was confused

Torvil chuckled. "Well let me put it this way..." He shifted so he could get comfy. "When you go to the other side, you become their ward... in order to haunt someone, you have to either be related, or killed by them... Otherwise you have to fill out a 'Non sequitor' haunting request..."

Ala sighed "If it wasn't for the Dragonic hide I probably would have been the one to have killed him that night" she mumbled

Torvil nuzzled her. "Self defense..."

"If I hadn't I probably would be severely injured or dead myself... especially if he knows anything about Kerrsalians" she said staring at her lap

Torvil hugged her closer. "But you aren't, and he's not an issue anymore... Fret not..." He stroked her hair.

"Question is... was he the only one to think that way. " she sighed

Torvil brushed her hair. "I think so... He was voted down by the council most of the time..."

"He certainly didn't like the fact that his son is alive again" she shook her head

Torvil frowned. "Yes... I found that truly odd..." He stroked his chin.

"Gave him an heir again, competition for his spot with the elders... especially when the elders asked him to step down"

Torvil nodded. "He should have welcomed that with open arms..." He frowned. "It doesn't make sense, unless the power was somehow beneficial to a cause he was backing... Like..." His face became very grim.

Ala turned at looked at him seeing his expression she blinked "like what?"

"Like a movement to eliminate the White Haired..." He frowned and mused over it.

"With the hatred Malkar said he had for the white-haired which was supposed to be worse then your father's hatred it really wouldn't shock me" Ala sighed

"Well it's over now... Rhazar gave me the census numbers on our last visit.... Two white haired for every normal DL...."

Ala nodded "That's quite the numbers... I'm just glad they stopped coming after us and our children"

Torvil nodded and cuddled her, his hand going to her hair. "Most definitely..."

"What do you think this one will have?" she asked placing her hand on her belly

Torvil chuckled. "Now that's an interesting question... I don't know if I could answer that..."

Ala chuckled "I don't think either of us could"

Torvil chuckled and nuzzled her.

Ala smiled softly "I never thought our son was much into the DL 'religion' at least not enough to have a statue of her..."

Torvil chuckled. "I gave it to him as a going away gift... He was interested in learning a bit more about my side..."

Ala chuckled "It's in his living room."

Torvil chuckled. "Well now... That's and interesting place to put it..."

"That's what I thought when I saw it, but then if you have one around here I've not seen it" she said with a nod

Torvil chuckled and took her hand, standing up with a smirk.

Ala chuckled and swung her legs off the couch and stood up

Torvil walked her to the door of his lab, he pulled out his key and undid the padlock.

Ala stood and waited for him to open the door

Torvil swung the door open when it was unlocked and walked in, heading for a large safe in the corner.

Ala couldn't help but plug her nose as she followed, some of his ingredients really stunk

Torvil chuckled. "You get used to it after awhile..." He knelt down. Right - left - right, CHUNK! He opened the safe and pulled out the statue.

"I was used to it... till I got pregnant.... now the smell bothers me" her voice sounded funny as she spoke

Torvil chuckled, showed her the statue, put it back and pulled her from the room, relocking the padlock and putting his key back in his pocket.

"So you do have one" she said with a laugh

Torvil nodded as he pulled on the lock to make sure it was secure.

Ala let go of her nose "why do you keep it in a safe?" she asked

Torvil chuckled. "Tradition... You keep the statue hidden from view until the birthday of Visha..."

"When is the birthday of Visha?" Ala asked curiously

Torvil thought. "A day before Vina's birthday... It's our new year...."

"Then you should let your son know, his certainly isn't hidden" she said

Torvil chuckled. "It's okay... I don't think he observes... I really don't either... Conditioning..." He tapped his head.

Ala laughed "I see, I don't know enough about either your Visha or Kalyai's Lady Kalika to observe either of them" she shook her head and headed back towards the house

Torvil nodded and walked with her.

"I don't really observe any I guess, never bothered to, never learned enough about any to decide to observe them" she admitted turning to look at him

Torvil purred. "It's alright love, I don't observe as it is..."

Ala smiled "You'll have to tell me more about her some time, just for knowledge more then anything"

Torvil took her hand and smiled. "Well, from what I was told, she came to the Fae dragons as they were fleeing from something..." He sighed. "She went among them and took one as her mate..." He looked up at the sky. "Her line lost their wings, but her blood ran through their veins.... It was these wingless ones that came to inhabit the cliffs..."

Ala nodded "Right, is that why winged dragons are treated the way they are?"

Torvil nodded. "Rarely did one with wings resurface, and any other offspring of the wingless were wingless..."

"You said something back at the caverns that one day about staying in human form too?" she was curious as they re-approached the couch again

Torvil thought for a moment, trying to remember what he said.

"Was when I showed your mom what 'full way' would be to me" she said

Torvin chuckled. "Oh yes... That..." He tapped his chin. "That was extremely rare... It was after we mereged with the Lycan..."

"How many winged are there besides Vina at the cliffs?" she asked suddenly really wanting to know more and more about his people, her inherited people

"Five... Most of them descendants of the Elders..."

"I'm guessing judging from your mother's reaction your family line wasn't one of them" she mused

Torvil nodded. "No..."

"It caused such a stir the first time we went, I'm mostly shocked it didn't last time when we went to find Vina" she said relaxing

Torvil chuckled. "We Jade easily..."

"Well I don't know what 'we jade' means but ok" she said

"Become Jaded... No longer shocked about much of anything..."

Ala laughed "Ok. So what else about your people don't I know" she said leaning on him

Torvil purred. "Not much love... But If I think of anything else I'll let you know..."

Ala giggled "ok" she said

Torvil purred and kissed her head.

Ala grew quiet again, she stared at the fire. She mused to herself that she knew more about his people now then she really knew about her own.

Torvil closed his eyes and leaned against her lightly.

Ala smiled softly, her eyes drifted to the small bookshelf in their living room.

Torvil purred, and lay his head in her lap, stretching out on the couch.

Ala looked down and chuckled "Well hello down there" she said knowing her small belly would be easily bumping up against him "Going to have a conversation with your child now?"

Torvil chuckled. "Sure..." He turned his head and lifted her shirt up a little, kissing her tummy.

Ala giggled lots, not only did she think it was funny but it tickled a little too

Torvil chuckled and nuzzled her belly, before cooing. "Daddy loves you, yes he does..." He kissed it again.

Ala watched him with a smirk in her face, she really found this quite humorous

Torvil purred and rubbed her belly as he smiled and cooed at it, kissing it every once and awhile.

Ala chuckled then relaxed just watching him, he was having so much fun

Torvil finally sat up and pulled her into his lap. "And I love you..." He purred, kissing her cheek softly.

Ala smiled and nuzzled him "I love you very much too" she said with a smile

Torvil purred and kissed her softly.

Ala leaned into the kiss deepening it happily

Torvil purred louder, and leaned into the kiss, melting into it slowly.

Ala wrapped her arms around him holding him close

Torvil purred happily and melted against her, his hands moving up and down her back.

Ala slowly broke the kiss but stayed close as she looked into his eyes

Torvil purred, his eyes beam love in all directions.

Ala smiled kissing softly the gem on his forehead "Nothing major has happened of late, makes me wonder if we are both just as much of what we are as we were a month or so ago"

Torvil chuckled. "Any tests I'd run would screw up..." He smiled softly. "You have new and interesting blood in you..."

Ala chuckled "I do now huh" she asked

Torvil touched her tummy... "They'd read bump too..."

Ala giggled "You know you've never tested you"

Torvil chuckled. "I doubt I've changed..."

Ala chuckled "You never know" she lightly tapped the red gem on his forehead

Torvil chuckled and pulled away, leaving the room to come back with his equipment he sat down and got to work on himself.

Ala giggled and got up to grab the book she had been while he was away, it was a semi thick book but she thought maybe she should finally open it

Torvil sat tapping his finger waiting for the results.

Ala looked at him before opening the book and staring at it's contents

Torvil smiled at her and his device let off a ding, he grabbed the paper and began reading.

Ala looked up at the sound, she didn't bother to close the book just left it in her lap

"57% Dragon, 10% Vamp, 25% demon, and 8% Unknown..."

Ala chuckled "And you said you doubted you'd have any change"

Torvil chuckled. "So I was wrong... It's not that much..."

Ala laughed "it's what just under half of what I am of 'unknown' "

Torvil nodded slowly, and thought on this.

Ala watched him think "water crystal for your thoughts?"

Torvil chuckled. "Was this what made it harder for me to get you pregnant?"

Ala shrugged "Kalyai never spoke about male fertility ,.... always spoke about female cause that's all I ever asked about"

Torvil nodded musing some more...

Ala watched him for a time then looked back at her book till he had more thoughts to share

Torvil put his thing away and came back to her. He sat down next to her and lay his head on her shoulder.

Ala smiled and put a hand on his leg "Much as Kal thinks I should learn this, don't know if I'll ever catch on, it's just confusing" she said, if he looked he would find she was reading a primary school aged textbook on the Kerrsalian language

Torvil smiled and nuzzled her, looking it over. "Might as well be Greek, and better if it was, I can read that..."

Ala laughed "There a little English in this but not a lot, it's one that Kal brought for the Kazehan Academy to teach their students... "

Torvil nodded and brushed her hair. "Well good luck love..."

Ala laughed "I don't know if I'll get it..." she closed the book and put it on the table grabbing instead the container of crackers

Torvil chuckled. "But you'll try, and that's what counts..."

"Yes I'll try, probably mainly when you are busy and I have nothing else to do" she nodded and munched on her crackers

Torvil smiled and cuddled with her.

Ala giggled and held a cracker near his mouth as he cuddled

Torvil leaned and grabbed it with his mouth.

Ala smiled letting go then getting another cracker for herself as they cuddled

Torvil purred and ate the cracker and then started to snuggle with Ala.

Ala put her container aside and wrapped her arms around him to snuggle back

Torvil purred happily, he leaned in for a kiss.

Ala met that kiss gently

Torvil purred into the kiss lightly, and held it for a time.

Ala relaxed happily closing her eyes, that was one thing she always loved about their relationship was their closeness and intimacy

Torvil purred and broke the kiss, pulling her closer to him he smiled.

Ala smiled and rested her head on his shoulder

Torvil purred content. "Love ya..."

"I love you too" she said quietly into his ear

Torvil purred and moved his head just a little to kiss her ear.

Ala purred softly

Torvil nipped at it lightly.

Ala smiled and purred feeling his nip.

Torvil alternated between kisses and nips, each getting harder and longer than the last.

Ala's hands moved till they found his wing nodes then slowly and softly ran over them as he nipped

Torvil purrs rose quite sharply as she did.

Ala smiled and continued moving softly in small circles on his back

Torvil purred and slowly stopped nipping, basking.

Ala stopped her movements and turned her head slightly to look at him

Torvil purred lightly. "Oh, sorry... Basking..." He moved his mouth closer to her ear again.

"Basking... you've never basked before" she mumbled, she didn't really care if she whispered it or not she knew he'd hear it

Torvil frowned, not letting her see it... He sensed a mood swing coming... "Well It felt good, and I'd thought I'd take the opportunity to enjoy it..."

"And you don't think I wasn't enjoying your attention?" she said pulling away

Torvil frowned softly and sighed. "I know you do love... I'm sorry..."

"You're forgiven" she mumbled and climbed from his lap and the couch and turning and heading to the kitchen her tail whipping about behind her indicating her displeasure

Torvil frowned and sat on the couch in thought for a moment, on how to rectify this...

Cupboards were being noisier then usual in the kitchen as Ala moved from one to the next in search of a snack she craved, she was feeling rather grumpy right then and didn't care how hard she closed cupboards

Torvil winced and didn't dare move.

Ala grumbled to herself, most of her words were illegible as she found what she was looking for, something that almost never came into the house cause it was barely ever eaten.... potato chips

Torvil finally got up and walked to the kitchen door. He watched her.

Ala didn't look at him as she pulled open the bag, she was glad they were regular flavored she wasn't sure how her stomach would take the smell of any other as she dug into it

Torvil sighed and walked to their room to lay down, thinking.

Ala sat down after eating half the bag of chips, she had calmed down, but now it was her stomach that was upset

Torvil rubbed his temples, not moving from their bed, not knowing if it was safe.

Ala went pale as she sat there mumbling quietly to herself about what had happened, she'd never reacted like that before and she didn't know why. her mind was so focused that by the time she realized she was about to loose her cookies and stood up she lost it right there in the kitchen...

Torvil winced, his sensitive hearing catching the noisy part. He got up and headed for the closet, to get cleaning supplies.

Ala dropped back into her chair and folded her arms on the table and lay her head down face first on them crying softly

Torvil came out and started to clean it up. Once he got it all cleared up he looked at her. He brushed her hair softly. "Lets get you cleaned up alright?"

Ala nodded and sniffled when she looked up she wiped the pink tears from her cheeks

Torvil kissed the top of her head, and motioned for her to come with him.

Ala stood up and followed him

Torvil took her to their bath room and got rid of her messy clothes, throwing them in the hamper. He started to clean her off.

Ala stared at the floor not saying anything as he helped her deal with the mess she had made

Torvil kissed her forehead, and kept on working, his actions definitely saying that it really wasn't her fault.

Ala sighed and finally looked up, at him. "Sorry" she said quietly

Torvil shook his head. "No need to be love..." He brushed her hair. "But forgiven you are anyway, if that is what you need..."

Ala smiled weakly "I shouldn't have done that, you have just as much right to bask in the attention as I do"

Torvil chuckled. "It's okay..." He kissed her forehead.

Ala sigh "Then I go and eat something I should have known would make me sick"

Torvil brushed her hair. "It's okay love..."

Ala wrapped her arms around herself and nodded slowly then stared at the floor again

Torvil kissed her forehead softly and finished, tossing the rag away and pulling her to him for a hug.

Ala buried her face in his chest as he pulled her into the hug

He brushed her hair softly, humming.

Ala cried softly into his chest, she wasn't 100% sure why she felt like crying but she did.

Torvil just kept brushing her hair, holding her close to him, and humming lightly.

After a while her cries stopped and she simply rested against him

Torvil kept brushing her hair. He then picked her up and walked towards their bed.

Ala pulled her head away from his chest and looked up at him

Torvil smiled down at her as he crawled into bed with her. He lay her down softly and cuddled.

"You didn't follow me" she mumbled cuddling against him

Torvil sighed. "I didn't know if I could do any good..." He kissed her forehead. "I was trying to figure it out..."

Ala nodded "remind me to stay away from the chips" she said running a hand across her belly

Torvil nodded and smiled softly, kissing her cheek.

Ala smiled softly and yawned before closing her eyes as she rest against him

Torvil purred and nuzzled her face softly, starting to hum.

Ala slowly began to fall asleep

Torvil sang a song of love and devotion as he felt her start to fall asleep.

Ala fell asleep against him shortly after he began to sing. Her breathing hitting it's soft rhythm it usually did when she was completely asleep

Torvil purred and slowly stopped singing, holding Ala to him.

Ala slept peacefully in his arms

Torvil lay awake listening to her sleep.

Ala stirred a little and rolled him his arms

Torvil let her, just content to be with her.

Ala slept for quite a while before slowly waking and noticing she was facing away from him now and figured she must have rolled in her sleep

Torvil smiled and was still purring.

Ala turned her head looking back at him smiling softly, she had a feeling he was still awake when she heard his purrs

Torvil smiled. "G'morning..."

"To you too" she said softly rolling onto her back

Torvil smiled and kissed her cheek softly.

Ala smiled "Did you stay up all night? But then what time IS it?"

Torvil chuckled. "I don't know, I stayed awake until you woke, I didn't look anywhere but you..." He caressed her hair.

Ala shook her head "Silly, why did you do that" she asked him

"Cause I love you..." He purred, and nuzzled her ear.

Ala giggled "I love you too but that isn't a reason to stay awake all night"

Torvil chuckled. "I dun need the sleep right now anyway..."

"You and your sleep patterns" she said tweaking her finger on his nose

Torvil chuckled. "Good for when we have the baby, I can take care of it and you can sleep..."

"True, since I have a feeling this one wont grow as fast as the twins or Vina did"

Torvil chuckled. "That's obvious enough already love..." He touched her belly.

Ala laughed "It will be interesting to see just what the child DOES do"

Torvil chuckled. "Aye..."

Ala smiled running a hand over her belly "I wont miss the morning sickness, and I wont miss the mood swings... but other then that I think I like this feeling... being pregnant that is"

Torvil smiled and put his hand atop hers. "I too, enjoy you being pregnant... You glow..."

Ala chuckled "I glow huh I don't see that"

Torvil chuckled and nuzzled her. "You do! You do I swear!"

Ala giggled and purred softly as he nuzzled her

Torvil purred and kissed her softly.

"You know the only part I really do miss....." she mused

Torvil smiled softly. "What would that be love?" Though he probably already knew the answer...

Ala chuckled "The extreme close intimacy" she said

Torvil nodded. "Figured that's what you missed..."

Ala nodded and rested against him running a finger along his chest

Torvil purred and kissed her forehead softly.

Ala smiled moving her finger along his side now

Torvil purred and moved his lips to her gem, giving it a kiss.

Ala's gem let off a burst of feelings as he kissed it, it was a mixture of feelings, everything from the night before right up till that moment, her happiness, her sadness, her desire and her irritation mixed with a few smaller feelings and all jumbled together

Torvil purred softly at the rush, the good and the bad... He smiled softly and nuzzled her.

Ala closer her eyes and let him kissing him softly any time he came close to her lips

Torvil kissed her firmly, his hand moving up and down her side.

Ala deepened the kiss happily

Torvil purred happily, letting himself melt into the kiss.

Ala's hand moved to the side of his head and ran though his hair

Torvil purred, his hand resting on her hip as he pulled away slowly.

Ala ran her fingers through his hair once again as he pulled away, her eyes opened as she looked at him

Torvil purred and kissed her forehead. "My turn to take a nap..." He chuckled, yawning lightly.

Ala nodded "I'm still tired so I'll join you" she said cuddling against him and closing her eyes

Torvil purred happily, and slid off into sleep.
