Torvil lay sprawled out on the couch, book covering his face, he appeared to be sleeping.

Ala glanced in the living room and smiled then slipped out the door she wore her kimono robe that day and it covered a somewhat skimpy bathing suit. closing the door very quietly she spread her wings and took to the air

Torvil smiled and slid after her. He swore, if she kept falling for the sleep trick... Well...

Ala flew in the direction of her and Torvil's special place, she was in the mood to swim... not just sit in one place, actually swim. If he really was asleep she'd have that chance... if he wasn't well she'd find out soon enough

Torvil followed at a fair distance, intending for today to watch Ala. Yes... Just Watch...

Ala landed next to the spring and folded her wings. she undid the robe and let it slide off her shoulders. She glanced at her reflection in the water with a smile, she enjoyed being pregnant and being so for a longer period of time this time let her enjoy it even more. she ran a hand over her small belly then waded into the water

Torvil sat a bit right of the water fall, his legs hanging over the edge as he looked down at his wife with a smile. She was absolutely glowing! He loved her looking like this, like a goddess of fertility, beautiful and bearing life.

Ala's eyes shifted green and she submerged into the water moving into a deeper section of the spring as she swam. If she had anything to say about it this child would enjoy the water too

Torvil smiled and lounged on the waterfall, watching still. He felt as if he was witnessing something that was sacred, something he yearned to be a part of, but dared not to move from his spot.

Ala surfaced then lay back on the water's surface closing her eyes and simply floating. the part of her that protruded from the water the most was her small rounded belly

Torvil smiled and slipped out of his clothes. He dove into the water, but thanks to years of diving in the cliffs into giant fish infested waters, he made no motion or noise at all as he slid into the water.

Ala floated peacefully, enjoying the relaxing movement of the water from the falls as it entered the spring, she felt his entrance no more then the movement of the water from the falls and thought nothing of it.

Torvil swam to her and then floated next to her, not saying a word even as he body brushed against her lightly as the water's motion pushed him to her.

Ala opened her eye and looked over with a smile "Hello"

Torvil smirked and chuckled. "Hey.."

"Had a feeling you weren't truly sleeping" she said closing her eyes again

Torvil chuckled. "9/10th of the time I'm not..."

Ala nodded, she knew he really didn't require much sleep

Torvil smirked. "I do find... However..." He said floating. "That Laying about has its uses..."

Ala laughed and opened her eyes letting her lower half sink below the water again "Is that so... like what?"

Torvil chuckled. "Ohhh... Less energy usage... You find out how long it takes till your eyes glaze over from boredom..." He sighed. "It's too damn quiet in the house..."

"Won't be too quiet for too long." Ala said with a nod. she swam to the more shallow area of the springs then waded in to her knees then sat down in the water her eyes slowly returned blue

Torvil chuckled and swam to join her.

Ala sat in the warm water contently "So how long were you following me before you let me know you were" normally she smelt Torvil the instant he was near but she was finding her pregnancy was muddling up her sense of smell

Torvil chuckled. "Since you left the house..."

Ala chuckled and moved her hands through the water "Somehow I suppose I should have expected that, there's not many times anymore I go anywhere without you since the bane"

Torvil smiled and waded over to sit down next to her, he brushed a hand through her hair. "Well, you know... I want to make sure you and bump are safe..."

Ala smiled softly resting her hand on her belly "Very true, we can't be having something happen to our newest addition tot he family"

Torvil nodded and put his hand on her belly as well. "Yes... I will not let nothing happen to Bump..."

Ala smiled and leaned against him

"Or you..." He purred and kissed her ear.

Ala smiled. "And to think we weren't sure if it would work. The genetics of my people are such a strange thing" she said with a sigh

Torvil purred. "Well it worked, didn't it... That's what matters..." He kissed her ear.

Ala nodded "It did, and I couldn't be happier" she told him letting her eyes close as she relaxed happily against him

Torvil purred and hummed softly, he slid behind her, so that his legs rested on the outer edges of hers, his hands went to her belly and he purred louder.

Ala shifted her position and leaned back against him "Don't get me wrong love I know you know how, but this pregnancy is not like the last one. I want you there, but I'm wondering since it is so different if we shouldn't have the birth at a hospital"

Torvil bit his lip, he'd been thinking the same thing... He had no idea what this birth was going to be like, and he felt that it would probably be best to leave it to a professional, not that he wasn't... It was just so different... "I think you're right... We should have it at a hospital with Doctors and technology and things..." He murmured.

Ala looked up at him, she had expected an argument over this topic, the surprise that he HADN'T argued it was very likely readable on her face

Torvil's face started to go red. "I'm scared..." He finally admitted. "Scared and afraid, that I won't know what to do, that this birth will be so different that all of my training won't help at all..."

Ala sat up a bit and turned around to look at him "You know that's the first time I've ever heard you admit you weren't sure you knew how to do something?"

Torvil blushed. "I uhhh..." He sighed. "I really don't know with this pregnancy, its so different.... I worry..."

Ala smiled softly and placed her hand on his cheek "It's very noble, and brave to admit when you aren't sure of something" she told him

Torvil blushed hotly. "Well..." He smiled weakly. "I just want you and Bump to be happy, and healthy when it comes time, I want someone who knows what the hell they're doing..." He chuckled lightly. "So that way I know you're both in good hands."

Ala nodded "And you will be at my side to help me through it" she said with a nod

Torvil nodded. "By your side, having my hand crushed into a small messy pulp..."

Ala burst out laughing and wrapped her arms around him "Somehow I don't think I could hurt you that much, not even my energy balls did"

Torvil chuckled and nuzzled her forehead. "We'll see... We'll see..."

Ala purred softly, she really didn't think she could hurt him all that badly, after all an energy ball that could destroy a tree had not even scratched him and she had sent two of them at him one day when he told her to to demonstrate

Torvil purred and chuckled lightly. "But then again..." He kissed her forehead lightly. " I might just figure out a way, if its not in the doctors way, of getting my gem to yours so I can share your pain..."

Ala frowned slightly "If not his way it might be in mine if I have to move at all. " she told him "Honestly? I'd rather you were right where my hands could find you to hold, that way you can also get anything I need" she said with a nod

Torvil brushed her hair. "Alright... It shall be as you wish my Queen..." he chuckled lightly, kissing her gem.

Ala giggled and pulled herself closer to him "I appreciate it love" she said cuddling against him

Torvil purred and closed his eyes. "Good, I'd be hurt if you didn't..." He chuckled.

Ala laughed and gave him a playful swat "You are such a silly man my love"

Torvil chuckled and playfully winced. "Ow..." He stuck his tongue out at her for a moment and smiled. "Am I? Really?"

"Yes you are. And I love you for it" she said as she pulled from his arms and stood up wringing her hair out she waded towards shore.

Torvil smiled and got up, chuckling. "Heading home?" He asked, looking towards the waterfall.

"Well to that extent yeah, but I'm walking this time instead of flying like I did when I came here today" she said with a nod as she reached down and picked up her kimono

Torvil nodded, and flew up to get his clothes.

Ala watched him fly up to the top of the falls. She had to chuckle "so that's where you were watching me from" she mused quietly as she pulled her robe on and started to walk towards home

Torvil smiled and landed beside her and went about walking, now clothed fully again, even if his pants were now wet.

Ala smiled when he landed "I felt like swimming" she said with a nod as if her trip needed explanation

Torvil chuckled. "Well that's good..."

Ala smirked "And now I feel like eating, I feel like eating ice-cream... with jellybeans"

Torvil chuckled. "Well we've got those at the house... Vina must have stocked up before we left..." Torvil didn't do the shopping in the house, Ala and while she had been there his eldest daughter Vina had.

Ala laughed "with chocolate and blood on it" she added the last line she had been holding back

Torvil chuckled. "That I would not mind having myself... The blood that is..." he smirked

Ala giggled "I'm sure you wouldn't, I'm just craving is all" she told him

Torvil chuckled. "I figured that once you said jellybeans..." He shook his head. He still did not understand how small beans that tasted like sugar ladened fruit tasted good...

Ala giggled "The joys of my Kerrsalian side, even though not much of it remains" she said linking her arm through his

Torvil purred and chuckled. "I'm sure..." he kissed her ear as they walked.

Ala smiled, she was quite content in the fact that he was letting her walk and get her exercise rather then picking her up and carrying her "I love you" she said

Torvil purred. "I love you too..." HE kissed her ear again, and smiled.

Ala smiled as the house came into view "Home sweet home"

Torvil smiled. "Home sweet home alright, where we can sit, eat, and rest..." He chuckled. "And I can put my hand on bump while you eat..."

Ala giggled "That you can, now I want that snack" she smirked and walked faster

Torvil chuckled and kept up the pace easy, finally just scooping her into his arms as they crossed the threshold. He jumped the couch and landed on his feet at the kitchen door, putting her down.

Ala laughed "You brat" she said as he put her down. She wandered over to the table and took a seat

Torvil chuckled and went to the freezer to get the ice-cream, then to the fridge for the chocolate. He stormed the pantry for the jellybeans, and approached their blood rack, perusing the selection. "Anything specific blood wise love?"

Ala shook her head "Nope not really, long as it's blood"

Torvil nodded and took some of the less fine stock. He brought all the fixings over and well as a spoon and put them down in front of her, sans bowl.

Ala smirked at him "Missing something love"

Torvil chuckled. "Am I? Really?" He turned and walked back to the sink, pulling out one of the larger bowls they used for mixing.

Ala giggled and leaned on the table waiting for him

Torvil put it down, and smiled. "There... That's about snack right?"

Ala burst out laughing "For ice-cream? That stuff is cold I don't eat quite that big a portion of ice-cream"

Torvil chuckled. He was having fun, and knew that the ice-cream needed a little time to soften or else it wouldn't come out of the container. He smiled and returned the large bowl, going to get a decent sized one instead.

Ala just shook her head, she had a feeling he knew she didn't eat that much ice cream in one sitting

Torvil brought the real ice-cream bowl and put it down. "Better?"

"Much" she said reaching for the bucket of ice cream "Now what flavor do we have here" she mused as she pulled on the lid

Torvil smiled, it was her fav, chocolate. He didn't think there was any other kind in the house.

Ala grinned when she got it open "Awesome" she scooped it out and then started adding the other fixings she was craving

Torvil smiled and sat down, leaning back in the chair.

It didn't take Ala long to prepare her snack and was soon eating it contently

Torvil smiled and put the fixings up.

Ala licked her lips finishing it up "Good snack" she smirked

Torvil smiled and took her bowl, putting it in the sink to do later.

Ala patted her belly gently "I think bump agrees" she said with a chuckle

Torvil smiled and moved his chair beside hers, putting his hand on bump.

Ala smiled "Do you like that this is lasting longer then the twins' ?" she was curious, she wanted to know his feelings on the subject

Torvil smiled. "Yes... This means I get to really understand what it's like..."

"Understand? in what way love?" Ala asked with a curious face

Torvil chuckled. "How it would effect others..." He smiled. "Now I understand why some males are cranky when their mates get pregnant... We can't be intimate, which I don't mind overly much... We can still cuddle, and I think bump makes you glow..."

Ala giggled "Glowing Ala!" she said with a smirk

Torvil chuckled and kissed her head softly. "You looked like a bathing goddess today..."

Ala shook her head with a chuckle "I don't know about that, I was just enjoying the water"

Torvil chuckled. "I was watching you love... I know what I saw..." He ran a finger of his hand that wasn't on bump down her arm.

Ala smiled "I gathered you were when I saw where you gathered your clothing from, my sense of smell seems to be a bit screwed right now"

Torvil chuckled. "All for the better, now I can sneak up on you..."

Ala laughed "Perhaps I shouldn't have told you that." she smiled "So what projects have you been up to lately"

Torvil tapped his chin. "Well, to avoid blowing open walls, I've pretty much stayed out of my lab... So nothing much really..."

Ala laughed "You don't need to be doing that, even if a wall blows out I don't think it's going to effect much save the walls and maybe you"

Torvil chuckled. "Nah, I can't seem to get anything done... It's too quiet..."

"Then maybe you need to blow out a wall. that makes plenty of noise" she winked at him

Torvil chuckled. "Rather not have to put it back up love..." He kissed her right above the eye.

Ala nodded "least it would give you something to do. I'm still doing shop work..."

Torvil nodded and sighed. "Been trying to read, and getting nowhere..."

Ala nodded and closed her eyes for a moment moving her hand along her gut "Ok I think that stuff is starting to become short lived"

Torvil nodded slowly. "I tried my best..." He brushed her hair, readly to move.

Ala nodded "And I appreciate it" she said opening her eyes with a wry smile

Torvil smiled and kissed her cheek.

Ala sighed "'scuse me" she said looking a little pale as she got up and hurried out of the room

Torvil sighed and headed after her, intent on helping somehow.

was nice while it lasted she thought to herself but I'm not drinking that again she pushed into the closest bathroom barely making it to the toilet before loosing the snack she had just eaten

Torvil got there moments after, he brushed her hair.

"That tasted better the first time" she said miserably

Torvil brushed her hair still. "Sorry..." He was a little green around the gills.

"It's not your fault love" she said flushing the toilet and getting up moving tot he sink to clean herself up

Torvil frowned. "But I didn't make it good enough..."

Ala finished and turned around "Or perhaps you did and it moved through my system too fast, gotta admit I am eating a LOT more then I used to"

Torvil nodded slowly.

Ala sighed and headed out of the bathroom "You don't look so hot yourself love"

Torvil smiled weakly. "My stomach's turning a bit too..." He winced.

Ala frowned "Maybe you need your concoction, you don't eat as much as I have been maybe it'll last longer"

Torvil shook his head. "I'll be fine..." He said, walking to her and hugging her.

"All right" she said with a nod as she held him in the hug

Torvil broke slowly and smiled. "Shall we have you sit down?"

"Might be an idea, just not too far away from any bathroom just in case..." she said with a nod and a sigh

Torvil nodded and headed for their room.

Ala followed after him a hand on her gut

Torvil sat her down in a chair near the door of the bathroom, he sat right across from her.

Ala relaxed and smiled at him

Torvil smiled and leaned back.

"Now what love?" she asked with a slight sigh

Torvil sighed. "Well we could talk? Or You could sit in my lap and we could cuddle till you lost cohesion..."

Ala chuckled "You pick"

Torvil smiled. "I chose cuddle..."

"Then cuddle it shall be" she said with a nod and stood up, her tail moving lazily

Torvil purred, and made sure she would be comfortable.

Ala relaxed and cuddled against him closing her eyes

Torvil purred and put his hands lightly on her tummy, making them warm enough to hopefully calm it.

Ala purred softly, she cuddled deeper into his arms closing her eyes

Torvil smiled and kissed her cheek, closing his eyes as well.

It didn't take long with the warmth of his body and the closeness of his cuddle for her to doze off

Torvil purred, and he too half slept.

Ala woke with a groan a while later

Torvil winced awake.

Ala pulled out of his arms and headed for the bathroom

Torvil got up and moved with her, pulling her hair back for her.

Ala noticed his assistance but didn't acknowledge it right away, she was more preoccupied with what she was about to fill the toilet with

Torvil winced and waited for the inevitable.

the inevitable did come, though it sounded almost forced at the end as Ala really had had an empty stomach by the time it was over.

Torvil winced. He was going to need to the toilet after her...

Ala flushed and moved away and sat leaning against a wall several feet away

Torvil took her spot and lost cohesion, only his was red, and mostly liquid.

Ala couldn't handle that and got up exiting the room post haste

Torvil wiped his mouth after wards and cleaned up, splashing his face with water.

Ala was laying on the bed a pillow on each side of her head trying to block out the sounds of what he had been doing and mostly succeeding

Torvil sat down next to her and sighed.

Ala felt the extra weight on the bed and put the other pillow down, she turned her head sideways and looked up at him, she was currently on her side

Torvil smiled at her weakly.

"I couldn't handle it, and there's nothing left for me to loose.... " she said weakly

Torvil nodded and brushed her hair.

Ala sighed and turned her head back facing forward again

Torvil lay down beside her, and cuddled lightly.

Ala smiled "You do need your concoction if you are gonna follow me in there every time"

Torvil chuckled. "I don't think I'll follow you anymore..."

Ala laughed "Not a fun experience losing ones cookies" she said wryly

Torvil chuckled. "Especially when it is mostly liquid..."

Ala chuckled "Even worse when there is chunks..... Anyways lets change topics before I have to do it again...."

Torvil nodded and nuzzled her lightly. "We should think about names again and decide on a girls and a boys..."

"Ok you start this time then" she said with a nod

Torvil thought. "Marian, Bethany, Flora for girls, Julina, Gerad, and Crowin for boys..."

Ala nodded "Claire, Nicole, Julianna girl names and dale, Arin, Marius boys" she was just tossing out the first ideas she could think of

Torvil thought. "I like Claire and Nicole... Arin and Marius..." He thought harder. "Oberon, Karsh, and Deweron, for boys, Helen, Ruth, Julie for girls..."

"Lorcan, Li, Yukio are some more boys, Andrea, Adira are girls names" she said after a bit of thought

Torvil nodded. "Wulfgar and Kris, boy, Kim and Sara, girl."

Ala laughed "I said Sara yesterday"

Torvil chuckled. "Seee it stuck I like Sara..."

Ala giggled "Seems to have" she said nodding

Torvil smiled. "We should name it Sara if it's a girl... Sara Lane.... Or Sara Elane....

"Sara Nicole Rakamash has a nice ring to it too" she said rolling slightly to look at him

Torvil smiled. "That works... If that's what you want for a girl..."

Ala smiled "It's pretty" she said with a nod

Torvil nodded. "We'll use it then..."

Ala smiled and nodded some more "Ok" rolling back onto her side

Torvil chuckled. "Now for a boy..."

"Thought we had that one... or do we wanna reconsider it" she said looking thoughtful

Torvil thought. "What was it again... If we have it then we may not want to change it..."

"Surion Asmodeus Rakamash" she said

Torvil nodded. "Yeah... That will work just fine..."

Ala nodded and leaned back more into his arms

Torvil purred and hugged her close.

Ala put her hands on his arms happily and relaxed closing her eyes

Torvil purred and started to doze lightly, half awake half asleep.

Ala purred softly, her stomach felt like it was demanding food, but she had no current desire to eat and lose it again

Torvil sighed contently, not knowing his wife's plight

Ala opened her eyes staring ahead into the darkness on the other side of the room which had become thanks tot he late hour

Torvil finally woke up and loosened his grip on her a little.

Ala didn't really move just stared off into the darkness thinking

Torvil brushed her hair, thinking she was asleep.

Ala smiled softly, she loved it when he ran his fingers through her hair it was relaxing

Torvil kept it up for awhile, not noticing that he had started to hum.

"Your humming is very relaxing" she said quietly making noise and movement for the first time since he started

Torvil tensed for a second and chuckled. "Good..." He went back to humming.

"Why did you tense up love?" she asked looking a bit over her shoulder

Torvil chuckled. "You scared me for a second is all, I thought you were asleep, and didn't know that you were awake..."

"I've been awake since before you started running your fingers through my hair" she said softly

Torvil chuckled weakly. "I didn't know..." He kissed the back of her head.

Ala smiled "You seemed to be enjoying what you were doing so I didn't want to interrupt"

Torvil chuckled. "That I was... But its nice to know that you were enjoying it too..."

Ala giggled and then sighed resting her hand on her belly

Torvil smiled. "I'm very happy we're having another child..."

Ala nodded "So am I, very much, so am I" she said with a smile

Torvil purred and kissed the back of her head. "Gold for your thoughts..."

"I'm hungry" she mumbled "but...."

"I know... I know, you don't want to sick up again..."

Ala nodded

Torvil brushed her hair softly thinking.

Ala sighed and closed her eyes

Torvil kept brushing her hair. "You could always take another shot of the concoction..."

Ala shook her head "That stuff was horrid to drink the first time, I don't wanna drink it again" she said with a sigh

Torvil nodded and brushed her hair.

Ala closed her eyes and rested against him

Torvil started to hum, and finally said. "I could always get you an IV..."

"Uh no thanks" she said with a laugh

Torvil chuckled. "Well you'll have to eat sometime... For Bump's sake..."

"I think I'll just start eating less but more often, so there's not as much in my stomach" she said after some thought

Torvil nodded and hugged her close, his hand resting on bump as he started to hum again.

Ala sighed softly and did her best to relax

Torvil moved his hand up to brush her hair again, he started to sing

"Have I ever told you your singing voice is really nice?" she asked

Torvil smiled. "Thanks... And no you haven't..."

Ala chuckled "Well it is"

Torvil smiled. "Glad you enjoy it..."

"I do, its relaxing, well that song is" she said running her hand over her empty gut

Torvil nodded softly. "I'll sing it more often if you like..."

Ala nodded still staring into the darkness "I would like.." her stomach decided to put it's 2 cents in as well

"Food?" He chuckled.

Ala chuckled "I guess I should try putting at least a little bit in there"

Torvil chuckled. "And I shall sing for you all the while..."

Ala laughed and sat up crawling off the bed

Torvil followed, starting to sing, as promised.

Ala smiled heading out of the room debating in her mind what she could eat that would stay settled in her stomach until she ate again

Torvil followed, keeping the song going, even adding new verses.

"Any suggestions what might stay settled?" she asked as she started routing through cupboards

Torvil thought and stopped singing. "Soup... Crackers..."

"Sounds like a good suggestion... I think I'll have one that's not milk based, maybe that will help" she rummaged through the soups

Torvil nodded. "Chicken noodle?" He tossed out, being the only soup he knew of...

"That works...." she said quietly locating a can of the soup and putting the rest away

Torvil nodded. "Vina gave me some once... 'Broaden my horizons...' It was during the terrible oatmeal period..."

Ala giggled as she pulled out everything she needed to cook the soup "I remember that.... Must have been a nice change"

Torvil chuckled. "Beat oatmeal..." He muttered.

Ala giggled her robe hung open from her shoulders "I bet" she opened mixed the water and started to heat the soup. the smell was just barely deal-withable as she started to hunt down some crackers with the intent of nibbling on them while she waited

Torvil sat down and started to sing for her again. He closed his eyes, letting his soul fill the song.

Ala purred happily walking around the kitchen with her found sleeve of crackers, she nibbled on them and found them oddly settling for her stomach

Torvil smiled. She was happy and that's all that mattered to him. Happy, healthy, and carrying their next child. He kept on singing, only the verses were changing.

Ala sat at the table a short time later with the crackers and a small bowl of the soup, after adding more crackers to the soup itself she started eating thinking to herself she'd bring more crackers to the room with them "I think we'll need more crackers" she said between bites

Torvil chuckled. "I'll go to the store morrow..."

Ala smirked and nodded "Thanks, I think they'll be helpful so get lots" she ate her soup

Torvil chuckled. "I'll buy in bulk..."

Ala nodded as she finished up the soup "bulk might be a good idea" looking up at him again

Torvil nodded and smiled. "Need anything else? Or should I start singing again?"

Ala laughed "Your pick, I'm done eating though and the rest of the soup should be cool enough to put in the fridge for later"

Torvil nodded and put away the soup, and then went about doing the dishes quick.

Ala relaxed keeping her fingers crossed that her stomach wouldn't turn. she yawned widely and got up to go get changed from her swimsuit which she was still wearing

Torvil finished up the dishes and sat in the living room, looking into the empty fireplace.

Ala changed into an over-sized shirt and tiredly crawled into bed, she knew he'd join her when he was ready

Torvil got up a few minutes later and crawled in beside her, pulling the covers up over them.

Ala had already fallen asleep as it had been her stomach that had kept her awake before

Torvil smiled and hugged her close, dozing.
