Ala woke the morning after visiting the clinic twice in one day, her and Torvil had tried yet again the night before before falling asleep. Stretching she sat up and blinked to wake up. looking over the bed she smiled to see him still asleep "soon hopefully" she said quietly to herself. She finished her stretch bringing her arms down placing her hands on her flat belly... only to find it wasn't... she looked down and blinked a few times before fumbling her hand towards his shoulder succeeding in smacking him upside the head rather then finding his shoulder right away
"WUMPH!" Torvil grunted, pawing aimlessly at the hand that had so unceremoniously smacked him. "What's the big idea eh?" He muttered sleepily, rolling over on to his side towards Ala. "I mean a man deserves his rest right?" He opened an eye, and looked up at the seated Ala. Ello... Something was different, but in his half awake state couldn't quite place what.
Ala sat looking in a complete state of shock, her hand stopped moving to wake him since it succeeded. She finally looked up from her belly and over at him her eyes rather wide as she tried to find her voice
Torvil sat up and his hand moved to what should have been open air around her stomach... Instead, it found her belly. His eyes widened by a good margin and he turned his head to look at her. He spoke not a word.
Ala blinked several times as she finally found her voice "I think we finally succeeded" she squeaked
Torvil started to chuckle. "I think we did at that..." He smiled, pulling her into a kiss.
Ala smiled as he laughed and joined him softly until their lips met at which time she wrapped her arms around his neck and shoulders pulling him close
Torvil purred and broke the kiss slowly a short time later. "Well I'd better get ready to catch em now shouldn't I?" He smiled rubbing her belly. He was used to the fast pregnancies of his kind, and did not know that this one would take more time. "Strange though... It should have grown another inch or so by now..."
Ala nodded and looked down at her belly "Even the twins were larger by now" she mused agreeing with him. "I suppose we'll see what happens as the day passes" she said quietly and looked up at him
Torvil nodded and smiled, brushing her hair. "Yes... We shall have to see. But none the less I'm not leaving the bed until the day is over, and neither are you..." He though for a moment. "Amend that... I shall carry you from the bed if the need arises..."
Ala laughed "And what if I get hungry? there's no kids at home anymore to have bring stuff"
Torvil nodded. "I'll just have to be your man-slave today then, won't I?" He stroked his chin. "Not that I haven't ever not been your man-slave..."
Ala giggled "Well I'm hungry" she said with a smirk as she scooted back a bit and grabbed the pillows there to lean against the headboard of the bed
Torvil chuckled and got up, running to the kitchen and returning with a large assortment platter.
Ala giggled sitting cross legged waiting for him. as he re-entered the room
Torvil sat the platter down on the bed.
Ala looked at the food with a smile "You better eat too" she said as she reached for some food to get started
Torvil nodded and also ate, but wanted to make sure she got her fill first, so he ate slow.
Ala ate like normal, in fact ate a lil more then normal like she had the first time se had been with child
Torvil smiled and watched her eat more than actually feeding himself.
Ala stopped eating after a while and sat watching him
Torvil smiled and finished what was left, pushing the platter onto the floor and kicking it out the door.
Ala relaxed once they were done eating. she rested a hand on her belly looking at him smiling contently
Torvil smiled and cuddled up against her, his hand resting on her tummy as well.
"Oh dear lord" she said suddenly and sat up "I know you said carry but I can't wait" she said climbing off their bed and heading for their bathroom post haste
Torvil chuckled lightly, and relaxed on the bed. "It okay..."
Ala disappeared into the bathroom she pushed the door shut even though it didn't fully shut. She barely made it to the toilet when she got sick into it.
Torvil winced
After a few minutes and the sounds of water running Ala slowly exited the bathroom heading back in the direction of the bed and sat on it's edge trying to figure out what had just happened
Torvil brushed her hair. "You feeling okay?" He asked softly.
"Better now then I was a few minutes ago" she said quietly staring at the floor
Torvil nodded and brushed her hair still, his lips going to her cheek.
Ala smiled softly nuzzling him as he kissed her cheek
Torvil purred happily and licked her cheek lightly
Ala giggled and turned her head towards him once again looking very happy
Torvil purred and rubbed her tummy. "I have a feeling that this isn't going to be like we're used to..."
"Yeah? what makes you say that?" she asked turning more to face him
Torvil kissed her nose. "The fact that you still haven't grown a single bit..."
Ala chuckled "Would be completely unexpected if that happened, especially considering we both have a LOT of Dragonic in us"
Torvil nodded and nuzzled her cheek.
Ala smiled and leaned against him "So now what do we do, I never have gotten sick before, it truly was not something I expected, and are you sure it's not changed?"
Torvil frowned. "I think that this pregnancy is different yes... But how different?"
Ala sighed and looked down at herself "I don't know" she said quietly
Torvil smiled. "I'm sure it will be fine..." He nuzzled her cheek.
"So now what, we aren't sure that this will be the same, do we spend our day right here? or?" she asked
Torvil frowned. "Well I would like to spend the day cuddling with you, if that's alright..."
"Of course that's all right" she said smiling
Torvil purred and pulled her close to him, nuzzling her softly.
Ala cuddled with him closing her eyes and relaxing
Torvil purred happily against her.
"We did it" she murmured happily as she rested against him
Torvil smiled. "That we did... That we did..."
