Ala broke the kiss and looked towards the child's voice

The child was male, and dancing from one foot to the other. "SorrytobotheryoubutI'mkindalostanddon'tknowwheretogotogethome..."

Ala blinked then caught up with his words "What's your name?" she asked him

"Jokar..." He said softly, looking at his feet, kicking a small rock then looking back up.

Ala smiled "Then you are my sister-in-law's son, I think we can help you, I'm Ala and this is your uncle Torvil" she told him

Jokar giggled. "You were the people in grandma's rummage dump!" He jumped up and down excitedly.

Torvil looked down at his hand.

Ala burst out laughing "I guess you can say that" she said getting up

Jokar giggled. "But why haven't the babies come out yet?" He asked, moving over to touch her tummy.

Torvil stood and smiled softly at the boy. They were so cute at this age...

Ala smiled "Because I'm not completely Dragonic, and they are following the way of my kind" she told him

Jokar nodded and smiled. "Then you were not making babies in Grandma's rummage dump?"

Torvil chuckled, and ruffled the boy's hair.

Ala shook her head "No I've been with child for a while now" she said taking his hand "Lets get you home"

Jokar giggled and poked her tummy lightly with a finger. "Then what were you doing in Grandma's rummage dump?"

Torvil just shook his head, trying very hard not to laugh as he led the way.

"Dealing with an urge is what we were doing in your grandma and grandpa's rummage dump" she said

"Grandpa's back!" Jokar jumped up and down.

Torvil chuckled and nodded.

Ala chuckled and nodded, then she started walking towards the cliffs then looked at Torvil as they got closer "I don't feel like climbing up those couple of 'floors' lets take a shortcut" she said motioning for him to pick Jokar up

Torvil smiled and moved back to Ala. He picked up Jokar and opened his wings.

Jokar gasped. "WINGS!"

Ala let her own wings loose spread wide ready to lift her up

Torvil smiled and took to the air, flying the few short meters to his sister's home.

Ala followed behind him landing after he did

Torvil smiled and put Jokar down.

"Mommy! Mommy! Uncle Torvil and Aunty Ala have wings!" He called into the house as he ran.

Ala chuckled and let her wings slide back into her body

Torvil did the same entering the cave.

"Thank you for brining Jokar home Torvil..." Mikiri smiled, brushing the boys hair. "We were worried..."

"He kinda found us actually" Ala said softly

Mikiri smiled. "Well thank you none the less..." She kissed the boy's cheek. "I'm sure he's happy to be home..."

"Uh-huh..." The boy smiled. "I'm hungry momma!"

Mikiri and Torvil laughed.

Ala smiled looking a touch pale "Your dad is home too" she said quietly

Torvil moved over to her, and picked Ala up into his arms.

Mikiri nodded. "I'll go visit him in a bit... Thanks... You look pale, you should rest..."

Ala nodded softly and closed her eyes, she laid her head against him her wavy-from-the-braids hair partially covering her face

Torvil smiled and carried her to the guest room part of the cave, laying her down on the bed and crawling in next to her.

Ala had passed out by the time he put her down

Torvil brushed her hair, and nuzzled her hair. His gem was glowing softly, casting a rose glow over her hair.

it was a couple hours before she started to stir again and she no longer looked overly pale

Torvil's gem was still glowing, but it didn't look like he was giving up energy.

Ala opened her eyes not totally sure where she was when she looked around then she looked towards him

Torvil brushed the side of her face, his gem winking out. "We're at Mikiri's."

"I remember coming here to drop off Jokar... then it kinda goes blank" she mused as she moved to sit up

"You kinda passed out..." He said softly, brushing her hair, and moving his hand down her body to bump.

"I think I used a touch too much energy" she said with a nod sitting next to him

Torvil nodded, and finding bump unharmed, pulled her close to him and nuzzled her hair.

Ala smiled softly letting him nuzzle her feeling much more calm then when they were out walking earlier

Torvil brushed her hair. "It looks nice wavy..."

Ala smiled "It's like that cause she braided it right after you left this morning and it stayed like that till you undid it"

Torvil nodded softly and nuzzled her hair again. "I'm sorry I didn't notice..." He moved his mouth to her ear. "I love you..." he whispered softly.

"Sorry I blew up over it" she said quietly looking down

Torvil shook his head and put a finger under her chin, smiling softly. "I'm glad you did..." He kissed her softly. "Visha wed us... Mother wed us... we are wed forever and ever..." He purred happily and kissed her a bit deeper.

Ala purred into the kiss as she wrapped her arms around his shoulders

Torvil purred happily and pulled her as close as bump allowed.

Ala slowly broke the kiss "Your mom said you'd like the braid, I guess that's part of why I felt so upset when you didn't notice" she said quietly

Torvil brushed her hair. "I'm sorry I didn't... I really am... I feel so stupid..." he put his forehead to hers. "She was wrong though... I didn't like the braid..." He left a sufficient pause. "I loved it..."

Ala smiled softly "I liked it, she didn't tell me it's significance though so I didn't know"

Torvil chuckled. "Trust mom to do that... I think she was giving me a less than subtle hint to teach you..."

Ala chuckled "I suppose she may have been, especially since I think I gave her the impression I don't know all that much about this race"

Torvil chuckled. "You don't..." He blushed. "Oh lord... Did she ask you about..." He frowned. "Hoards..."

Ala nodded "after I gave her a water crystal"

Torvil frowned. "Oh man..." He ran a hand down his face.

"she was rather vague in her own answers on that one" she mumbled

Torvil nodded and brushed her hair. "Well what did she tell you?"

"Not much really, just that showing someone your hoard is like showing them your body, then kept saying something about you not telling me... something" she sighed

Torvil hugged her close. "In terms outside the cave, it's a turn on... A quirky one yes... But a turn on..."

Ala chuckled softly "You didn't even know I had one for quite a while... I knew about yours but I didn't really know the difference nor feel it at the time"

Torvil nodded and nuzzled her ear. "I'll gladly show you mine again when we get home if you'd like..."

Ala chuckled "Fine by me" she purred softly and kissed his hand. Then rested her hand on her belly "Bump's hungry"

Torvil nodded. "Shall we feed bump, there's food on the tray."

Ala nodded "Sounds like a plan" she said with a smile

Torvil smiled and rolled onto his side to watch her. He wasn't hungry right then.

Ala reached and pulled the tray closer "Way to much here but oh well" she said and ate

Torvil nodded... off. He had been so tired from before and the current exertion had worn him down again. He was just sleeping however, and not passed out.

Ala ate what she wanted then climbed off the bed leaving him to sleep and wandered out of the room

Mikiri was sitting at the table, Jokar on her lap. "Have fun?"

Ala chuckled "You could say that" she said resting a hand on her belly "So you didn't tell your kids that they have family with wings huh"

Mikiri giggled. "It must have slipped my mind..."

Ala shook her head "Well uhm, I imagine your parents really really busy having.. 'fun' right about now.... so I came out to ask since Torvil's already asleep having spent all his energy bringing your dad back,... and mine is kinda tapped from helping Torvil... well I was wondering if you mind if we spent the night.... we stayed at your parent's last night... "

Mikiri smiled. "Of course, My house is your house..." She brushed Jokar's hair. The little boy had fallen asleep on her lap. She smiled. "Oh, and just to fill you in. Stuff like this happens all the time. Next time don't worry about it, just stake out a room and sleep, its not like we're gonna kick you out." She smiled. "Dad did to Torvil a lot. But then, we all were blind followers of a stupid cult that did no one any good." She brushed Jokar's hair again and sighed. "Regardless... That doesn't excuse my actions when I was younger, and much more stupid." She kissed the sleeping boys hair and smiled softly. "I don't have to worry about losing my baby boy anymore... Thanks to the White hairs... They figured out how to stop the big predators from getting in..." She wiped her eye for a moment. "Oh dear... I must be bothering you with my boring rambling... I'm sure you want to go back to Torvil and rest..." She continued to brush the boys hair, a happy smile gracing her lips.

Ala smiled "You aren't rambling Mikiri... You have a very sweet son, he made me laugh earlier when he was asking me about bump" she said

Mikiri giggled. "Full of questions little Jokar is..." She brushed his hair. "Yes, he can be very sweet. Why just yesterday he gave little Mindara a love flower..." She giggled. "Its this little red flower, the girl is supposed to wear it in her hair." She brushed his hair and then kissed it. "Why she did just that, and kissed him on the cheek to boot. Oh it was very cute. He ran back to me complaining about kooties..." She giggled and buried her face in his hair again, inhaling his scent. "Oh my sweet little Jokar..." She smiled, and brushed his hair.

Ala chuckled "Vina was wearing one in her hair earlier before... well before I blew up at Torvil then Jokar found us a while after" she said sounding a little ashamed that she had blown up at her mate

Mikiri smiled at her. "It's okay to blow up every once and awhile... Sometimes they deserve it..." She smiled and nuzzled her son's hair. "And sometimes they don't... But in the end, they take the blame anyway... At least Torvil would..." She smiled softly. "Torvil would take the blame for anything if it made someone feel better, even if it wasn't remotely possible for him to have been at fault..." She smiled again, kissing Jokar's hair and again inhaling his scent.

Ala nodded "Your mom braided my hair this morning while Torvil was out. I didn't know it's significance at the time but it was the first time I'd changed my appearance since I met him so I got mad that he didn't notice the change" she sighed

Mikiri nodded. "You had all right to blow up at him then..." She said softly. "I should boot his rear right out of here for that..." She said softly. "Marriage braids?"

"That's what I got the impression they were from him later, 3 braids braided together in one" she told Mikiri

Mikiri nodded and stood, putting little Jokar down in the chair to sleep as she walked into the room Ala had just left a few minutes ago. There was the sound of struggle, and finally Mikiri came out of the room dragging Torvil by the foot. He seemed groggy and out of it. She tossed him out the door unceremoniously. "Dogs sleep outside!"

Torvil looked up at his sister and tried to crawl back inside.

"Mikiri...." Ala stared "You don't have to do that... we made up" she said quietly

"Oh..." Mikiri frowned. "My mistake..." He lifted up Torvil again and dragged him back to the room. Still not being at all gentle. Torvil smacked his head twice on the table when she dragged him past it.

Ala stared at the floor as she passed her with her mate a second time

Mikiri came back out and picked up Jokar. "There, back where I found him... He'll have a headache or two in the morning, but nothing he didn't deserve..." She said softly, holding Jokar close to her shoulder.

"One day I'll get used to things that are Dragonic, but even I didn't know the significance of those braids till he told me, then he unbraided them.... at the end I heard a voice I'd never heard before, one I don't really even know who was since we were alone" she looked back up at Mikiri

Mikiri blinked. "No way!" She shook her head. "Impossible... how could you have been sanctified by Visha... Torvil barely ever attended..." She shook her head. "No... wait, that's not true... Torvil wasn't allowed to attend..." She sighed. "Which would explain why he's not so religious now..." She sighed. "Oh well..." She shrugged. "You're lucky... Visha watches over your marriage..." She walked over to Ala and kissed her cheek softly. "Well I've got to go put Jokar to bed and join Malkar..." She blushed lightly. "I promised him once I put Jokar to bed he and I could have some us time..."

Ala chuckled "You know your line is direct descendants don't you" she said moving back towards the room where Torvil was

Mikiri shook her head. "Well I'll be..." She smiled and giggled. "Malkar will be impressed." She turned and bowed with Jokar. "Well have a good night Ala... sleep well."

Ala nodded "Good night Mikiri, see you in the morning" she said and disappeared into the room and crawled back into the bed and snuggled up to her mate feeling kinda bad about what Mikiri did

Torvil groaned. "Might I add..." He said softly. "That my sister has a very strong right cross... And she plugged me right in the eye..." He was very much awake at this point.

"Sorry love, I didn't know she'd do that... I mentioned my blowup to her, next thing I know I'm watching her haul you past" she said quietly

Torvil chuckled weakly. "Not your fault... She was just looking out for ya..." He took her hand and kissed it. "Could you do me a favor though, love of my life, my dawn of the day that is life..."

"What love?" she asked looking up at him

"Can you kiss my eye and make it feel better?" He said softly. "The left one..." he added with a whisper. "That is, only if you want..."

Ala smiled and shifted her position so she reached it better and kissed it softly

Torvil purred. "Thank you darling love, core of my existence, light of my day..." He closed his eyes, well aside from his left, which was swollen shut. He pulled Ala to him and purred, slowly falling back asleep.

"I love you" she said softly as she cuddled up against him closing her eyes ready to go to sleep and finish renewing her energy

Torvil smiled. "And I love you, Soul of my so..." And with that Torvil was gone.

Ala smiled softly and dozed off
