A few days earlier, Ala was up earlier then usual, early in fact to the point where Torvil had still been asleep, she'd been doing it for a few days. She grabbed some toast with jelly and headed back out to the shop to continue the sorting and tidying she had started the day before

Torvil rolled out of bed, rubbing his eyes. He stood, and took a quick shower, tossing on his clothes as he headed for the shop. He had a sneaking suspicion of what was giving her trouble sleeping.

Ala munched on her toast and was close to finishing it since she was being slow about it as she sorted a drawer in the back room

Torvil found her sorting, and hugged her again from behind. "You're still afraid of him aren't you..." He said softly.

Ala jumped slightly and looked over her shoulder as she relaxed, she was still not used to picking up the scent of someone approaching. She sighed and nodded

Torvil brushed her hair softly. "Do you want to see him to make sure he can't come back?" He said softly. "Because he can't unless you free him..." He nuzzled her softly.

"I... I guess" she said quietly

Torvil nodded slowly, and held her close. This was going to be a bit more tricky. "Close your eyes..." He said softly, putting his hand on her belly and starting building a defense for bump.

Ala nodded and closed her eyes

Torvil shifted them watching as the twisted nether wrapped around them. He didn't close his eyes, he could not and protect bump's fragile mind with his own. He knew well enough not to try and analyze the chaos around him. He was shivering and sweating as they landed other side, both of them covered in the brown cowls. He panted lightly and removed his hand from her tummy, bump was safe.

Ala waited for him to let her know to open her eyes. She had only been here once before and still knew little about the place.

"You can open them..." He said softly, still shivering a bit. Passing Ala through was easy enough, passing her and bump however... Was much more difficult, as the small and defenseless mind of bump had to be defended from the nether's warping.

Ala opened her eyes and looked at him "You ok?" she asked when she noticed his shivering

Torvil nodded. "Just a bit more outta me this time with bump." He smiled. "Now lets go... The Abyss is this way..." He said softly, the word seeming to echo darkly as it left his lips.

"All right" she said with a nod taking his hand

Torvil took her hand and squeezed it, walking towards a black spire off in the distance, as thy got closer it became obvious that it was much different from the Tower of Woe. For one, its sides were perfectly smooth, and there were no visible doors. It was also perfectly round and the top was a perfect point, seeming to disappear in the blood red sky above it.

Ala stared at the as they approached it she moved closer to him

Torvil brushed her arm softly as they reached it. He put his hand against the flat surface and walked forward, pulling her along with him. Soon they were just surrounded by darkness, only able to see each other.

Ala bit her lip "Dark" she said nervously, dark as it had been in her mind

Torvil hugged her close to him as a small light appeared in front of them.

"Request, Shezar - Cross check Rakamash..." Torvil said to the light.

The light flashed twice and suddenly they stood on the top of a tall rock spire, Shezar hung upside down in front of them, hanging by his legs from a wooden cross like fixture, his arms out spread on the boards. He growled at Ala.

Ala backed up a bit seeing him.

Torvil held her close to him, himself having to back a step.

"So you've come to watch eh?" Shezar growled looking out across the plains behind him. "Well they'll be coming soon..."

As Shezar said this, a large Raven landed on one of the arm bars of the wooden cross piece, it squawked.

Shezar's face went pale.

Ala's nervousness around the man was obvious on her face, she didn't reply to his words as she looked at him

Torvil brushed her hair. "He can't hurt you anymore..."

Another Raven landed on the opposite cross arm. It looked to the first and the two leaned down, starting to peck at Shezar's arms.

Shezar winced.

Ala nodded slowly, like many other things in the other side the scene she was seeing was also something she didn't quite understand

Torvil pulled down her cowl and turned her head towards him. "This is his personal hell... I would suggest we leave before it gets any worse..." There was a large cloud of black on it's way, and it wasn't rain.

Ala nodded, two ravens was one thing, she didn't want to see more "What.. do your brothers have?" she asked quietly

Torvil let them sink back into the blackness before answering. "Kahkeru... relives the pain of me removing his head..." He sighed. "And Mezaru goes through the crushing of his heart..."

Ala bit her lip "think it'll ever teach them not to harass you?"

Torvil smiled. "Won't matter cause I'm never letting them out..."

Ala nodded "What of your father... think he's changing at all?"

Torvil shrugged. "I've been getting reports that he's being better behaved... As best as one stuck in a crystal can..."

Ala nodded thinking of the last time, and technically the first time she'd ever seen the man

"Do you want to visit him?" He asked, walking out of the Abyss, back under the blood red sky.

"I suppose, it'd probably be better then what I just saw..." she said looking up from under the cowl at the red sky

Torvil nodded, and started walking her towards the Tower of Woe.

Ala's hand moved across her belly as they walked, she looked down again from her gaze at the sky and watched where they were walking

Torvil smiled softly. "I don't think bump will need to know of this place..." He said softly, holding her close.

"No I don't think they will, we don't need them coming here" she replied

Torvil nodded. "I hope that they cannot..." He said softly, walking with her. "Or rather, don't know how..." He walked with her into the tower, heading for the gem prisons.

"Agreed" she said quietly, squeezing his hand as they walked

Torvil stopped before Korvil's prison, returning her squeeze.

>Korvil's forehead rested against the glass, his horns buried in it. He looked depressed.

Ala peered through the crystal at him. As much as Korvil had done bad, he intrigued her. She wondered if she should tell him about his great grandkids

>Korvil looked up. "Oh..." He muttered. His eyes looked hollow, and his voice wasn't much better. "I've been waiting..." He said softly, his hand resting on the gem. "I'm sorry..."

Torvil stood dumbfounded.

Ala was shocked to hear those words come from him "you are?" she asked

Korvil nodded. "I've heard that Shezar is dead..." He sighed heavily. "My vengeance is denied me there..." He sighed again. "And Visha came to me..."

"Shezar is dead, " she nodded "He tried to attack me" she said quietly. "What did Visha want...." she was curious at that comment

Korvil chuckled weakly. "To congratulate her descendant..."

"What???" now she was confused

Korvil chuckled. "It would seem that my line are the direct descendants of Visha..."

Ala blinked. She paused for a moment in thought "Would explain why Vina looks so much like her, and the ones at the cliffs think that she is.."

Korvil grinned. "So perhaps my son's children aren't evil..." He noticed her slight budge, and a bright smile came to his face.

"Nor are his grandchildren, your great grandchildren, one of which was named after you" Ala told him

Korvil's eyes started to tear up. He sat down. "I'm not worthy of that..." He said softly. "I was absolutely terrible to Torvil..." He looked to his son, who still stood stock still. "And all of his children..."

"Your grandson seemed to think you were, he's the one who named his sister's youngest child" she said looking down at him

Korvil started to cry and he wiped his eyes.

Torvil walked over to the gem slowly and touched it, it dimmed and Korvil was released.

Ala watched Torvil's actions from where she stood resting both of her hands on her belly

Korvil stood frozen for a moment, and then pulled Torvil into a hug.

Ala watched Torvil's expression, he had looked nearly ready to pee his pants when his mother did it, she was curious about now with his father who had been worse

Torvil's eyes were open wide with terror. His body was stiff, and he seemed to be hyperventilating.

Ala approached the two till she was standing right next to them

Korvil let his son go, and saw the wide-eyed look of terror. "Sorry..." He said softly.

Torvil just looked down at the ground.

Ala placed a hand on Torvil's shoulder "not an easy thing" she said quietly to Korvil

Korvil nodded. "I know..." He said softly, reaching out towards Torvil only to fall short. "Perhaps you should go Torvil... I won't bother..."

Torvil moved forward and wrapped his father in a hug, crying.

Ala smiled softly watching them

Korvil brushed his sons hair.

"I love you dad..." Torvil sobbed.

>Korvil's eyes teared up and he hugged Torvil closer. "I love you too son..."

Ala smiled watching them, she stood back a little bit her hands resting on her belly

Torvil broke away slowly and wiped his eyes. "I'll come visit later dad... and we'll talk..."

>Korvil nodded.

Torvil walked over to Ala and took her hand, walking her towards the exit.

Ala gave Korvil a small wave as she was led towards the exit

Torvil put his hand on bump and looked at Ala. "Close your eyes..." he stopped.

Ala stopped and nodded closing her eyes as he instructed

Torvil slid them through again, panting hard and sweating profusely as he ended up with them on the rug in their room. His face was deathly pale and his forehead was soaked in sweat.

Ala opened her eyes and looked at him her face showed concern when she saw his appearance

Torvil moved his hand from bump, and promptly passed out, falling like a sack of potatoes.

Ala frowned and went to find a cloth returning her eyes shifted green as she wet it. she sat down next to him and started wiping his face and forehead with it

Torvil woke a few minutes later. "Ow..."

Ala kept wiping his face the cloth still damp from her waters which she was using to keep it that way. "You ok?" she asked

"Fine... Just over taxed myself... Looking at the twisted nether is rather difficult..." He chuckled weakly, reaching up to stroke her face.

Ala nodded and stopped wiping his face as he reached to hers as she looked at him with green eyes

Torvil stroked her face softly. "Your eyes are very pretty... Green or blue..." He smiled.

Ala chuckled "Thanks love" she said letting them shift to normal

Torvil purred and his face regained its normal color, which would be considered rather fair by most standards

Ala rested her hand on his chest lightly as she nuzzled the hand on her face

Torvil purred and pulled her closer to him, kissing her.

Ala purred softly as she joined the kiss

Torvil purred and pulled her so she rested atop him, his hand moved up and down her back happily.

Ala smiled shifting so she wasn't laying on bump and cuddled happily

Torvil sat up slowly, keeping her in his lap, one hand going to bump. He smiled. "I think I'm going to try and bring dad back..."

Ala looked at him "Are you 100% certain he's a changed man?"

Torvil caressed bump. "I'm going to talk to him more... But I think he is..." He smiled softly. "It won't happen over night... Getting him back... I'll have to re-piece his body together..." He said softly.

Ala nodded slowly

"anything not there I have to replace by magic, which means my own energy... and he's big..."

"I could see that much, the size that is...." she said with a nod "Are you going to tell... mom? or Mikiri?"

Torvil shook his head. "I think they'll understand when he shows up..."

"I hope so" she said quietly

"Mother will be thrilled, she misses him..." He sighed.

"I imagine she does, but in a way wasn't she also afraid?"

Torvil nodded. "Father wasn't abusive to her... Just to me... but you know..." He sighed. "He had his moments..."

"So many changes, both in your family... and the people at the cliffs in general" she mused

Torvil nodded. "For the better I think..." he said softly.

"I'd have to agree there, though you know to be honest I think at least your mom should have warning if you decide to do it... don't need her having a heart attack and having to bring HER back too"

Torvil chuckled. "I think I'd have to worry about her crushing me to get to dad..." He shook his head. "They were almost as bad as we are... if not worse... I don't remember a time that dad didn't have bruises everywhere..."

"I meant before he's back love, just to warn her kinda thing" she said

Torvil nodded. "I'll probably let her know..."

Ala smiled softly

Torvil smiled and kissed Ala softly, pulling her as close as bump would allow.

Ala purred and leaned into the kiss

Torvil purred happily into the kiss, his hand on bump gently rubbing and massaging.

Ala purred happily wrapping her arms around his neck letting the cloth drop

Torvil purred and leaned into the kiss deeper, his fingers gently kneading bump.

Ala purred softly feeling a flutter feeling in her belly

Torvil purred feeling the motion as well against his finger tips. He put his entire hand against her belly and started to rub.

Ala slowly broke the kiss "I think bump likes that" she whispered

Torvil purred and started to kneed her belly again. "Then I am glad..." He whispered back.

"I know I do" she purred

Torvil chuckled lightly and nipped at her ear, brushing it with his tongue as his fingers continued to lightly kneed bump.

Al a purred loudly closing her eyes

Torvil kept his fingers doing what they were doing as he attacked Ala's ear. He loved the shape of them, their sharp points and extra length gave him more to play with. His teeth lightly ground against the upper part of her ear as his tongue brushed it quickly.

"Mmmmmm" and held herself close

Torvil purred happily his fingers kneading a bit deeper, but not near enough to harm bump. He licked and nibbled on her ear happily.

Ala purred as she felt another flutter in her belly

Torvil purrs rose as he beamed, nipping a bit more on her ear as he felt the movement of the child in her.

Ala moaned softly as he nipped

Torvil purred. "You like?" He whispered into her ear, then ran his tongue along it seductively.

Ala nodded slightly her finger tips moving along his shoulders

Torvil purred and nipped the tip of her ear, holding it between his teeth as he flicked his tongue against it.

Ala moaned softly

Torvil purred his fingers still kneading against bump as his other hand moved up and down her back. He started to bite down the length of her ear, his tongue brushing roughly against the flesh he caught in his teeth each time he stopped.

Ala's hands found his nodes, her fingers digging in just a little

Torvil purred, kissed her softly.

Ala returned his kiss equally softly

Torvil purred and broke slowly. "You're very pretty pregnant..."

Ala gave him a mock pout "Only very pretty?"

Torvil chuckled, and kissed the pout. "Ravishing, gorgeous, stunning, goddess also come to mind..."

Ala giggled "Oh ok"

Torvil purred and leaned down for a kiss.

Ala met him for the kiss happily

Torvil purred and slid his hands down to massage bump.

Ala broke the kiss looking at him happily

Torvil purred and started walking her towards the bed.

Ala purred as he moved her

Torvil slid her into it slowly, moving to lay beside her.

Ala smiled "What else are we going to do today?"

Torvil chuckled. "Up to you love..."

Ala shrugged "I don't know" she said pulling a hand from the towel and wiping sleepy dust from the corner of her eye

Torvil purred softly and nuzzled her nose. "We could eat... Or nap... Or cuddle... Or go deliver the gifts..."

"All of those sound like good ideas" she said with a chuckle

Torvil chuckled. "We go deliver the gifts, mooch of Lene, maybe nap with the kids then come home and cuddle..." He chuckled.

"mooch of Lene?" Ala raised a brow

Torvil winced. "I meant off... mooch off her..."

Ala giggled "Silly Torvil" she said reaching her free hand to stroke his cheek

Torvil purred and picked her up, starting for the front door, only stopping to pick up the presents...

Ala chuckled "How are you going to carry all of that and me"

Torvil juggled it and finally had to put her down.

Ala chuckled "Want me to take one?"

Torvil nodded and handed her the one she had taken the day before.

Ala took the dragon and put it under her arm

Torvil smiled and headed for the door.

Ala followed letting her wings unfold as she walked

Torvil walked outside and took to the air.

Ala spread her wings and followed him

Torvil smiled and flew off toward Kazeha.

Ala flew along side him and thought then laughed "We must look like an odd sight.. two humanoids with huge dragon wings flying and carrying huge plush dragons"

Torvil chuckled. "Yes, quite odd... But fun..." He smiled.

"Very fun" she said with a nod

Torvil smiled, and spotted Kazeha off in the distance.

Ala smiled as the village appeared, for those who didn't know that it was there and didn't have an invitation into the village it wouldn't appear, which of course explained why the Keeper couldn't find it

Torvil smiled and landed at the gate, making sure they were seen.

Ala landed beside him folding her wings "Alatariel Rakamash and husband Torvil to visit Selene Rakamash and children" she told the questioning guardnin and smiled when he admitted them, she noted again Alix to not be there and figured him on break

Torvil smiled and headed on into the village, first stop was Torvin's house.

Ala smiled as they entered the town center and turned towards her son's home

Torvil reached his son's home and knocked on the door.

"In a minute..." Came the voice of Torvin.

Ala smiled "Well least he's home this time"

Torvil chuckled. "Yeah..."

The door opened. "Father!" Torvin beamed. "Mother! Come in!"

Ala chuckled "Hello son" she said

Torvin absolutely beamed. "Hello mother..." He moved out of the door way so they could enter.

Torvil stepped in.

Ala entered after Torvil and placed the dragon down near the door to pick up on her way out

Torvil did the same, but handed the bottle off to his son, who thanked his father and skittered off to the kitchen. "Well he's excited..." Torvil blew a bang from his eyes.

Ala laughed "I'm going to guess that means his time with Kimi went well" she said moving into her son's living room and taking a seat

Torvil chuckled and sat down, sniffing the air. He blinked. "I'd say..."

Ala chuckled, her sense of small was still quite muddled and she had a feeling it probably would stay that way till the child was born

He shook his head, and chuckled when Torvin entered the room. "Busy with Kimi lately?"

Torvin blushed hotly.

Ala giggled "I'm going to take that as a yes my son"

Torvin blushed more, sitting down. "It was... wonderful..." He blushed.

"When can we see the kids?" Torvil chuckled.

Torvin smirked. "There aren't any..."

Ala raised a brow "Aren't any?"

"Nope..." He chuckled lightly.

Torvil blinked. "Then you..."

"Yep..."

Ala raised her brow "Very interesting... makes me want to Kal even more" she mused

Torvin chuckled. "I did it myself mother... I altered my urge potion..." He chuckled and shook his head. "Course, now I can hardly focus around Kimi... Well in any non sexual way..."

Ala chuckled "I believe you did, but I'm referring for later"

Torvin nodded, and smiled, then eyed the dragons. "For Selene's?"

Ala nodded "Yup, your father's choice" she said with a chuckle "Picked them up right after we picked up the blood"

Torvin smiled. "Well I'd offer to join you, but I'm going over to Kimi's in a bit."

Ala chuckled "Somehow that doesn't surprise me"

Torvin blushed lightly. "I'm just making sure she's got everything in order..." He chuckled, leaning back.

Ala raised a brow "Ok, not sure for what... Anyways I'm gonna leave you two for a father son chat for a few, I'm going to go over tot he council chambers for a few" she said getting up

Torvin nodded and smiled.

Torvil turned to her and gave her a 'what?' look.

"Going to find Kal for a minute" she said softly as she passed him "You chat with your son about his new love" she kissed his forehead and headed out the door

Torvil nodded and purred, turning to Vin.

They talked.

Ala went the chambers then returned about 20 mins later she knocked once then opened the door

Torvil was talking to a very red faced Torvin. "And then, if you..." He stopped and looked over his shoulder. "Oh hi love."

Ala chuckled and walked up behind Torvil "Having a good conversation?"

Torvil chuckled. "just giving Torvin here some tips..."

Ala smirked and laughed inwardly "Would explain his red face"

Torvil chuckled and looked up. "Well I'm sure he must be hot to trot... And we do need to deliver those gifts..."

Ala nodded "Yes we must... " she moved to pick up the dragon she had put down "Oh by the way son, your seed may only work half the time..." she said

Torvin smiled. "Good... Then I can be a lot less worried..."

Torvil nodded and stood. "Well it was good to see you son."

Torvin nodded.

Ala walked over and gave her son a one armed hug

Torvin purred at his mother. "I'll see you around mom..."

Torvil picked up the things he was carrying. "Come on love..."

Ala nodded "Not sure how much longer I'll be flying long distance, so eventually you'll have to come see me" se smiled kissing her son's forehead then heading out the door

Torvin smiled. "I will!"

Torvil smiled and wrapped an arm around her, and handing her one of the dragons.

Ala chuckled carrying two dragons "Now off to see if Selene is home"

Torvil nodded. "I hope so..." He chuckled, heading for her home.

"Who knows" Ala chuckled

Torvil reached the house and took the dragons from Ala, she got to knock on this door.

Ala smiled and knocked on the door and heard a literal stampede on the other side

Torvil chuckled.

The door flew open revealing the two boys of Selene's clutch

"G'day boys" Ala greeted them

Torvil smiled, his face hidden by the dragons.

"Grandma! Grandpa! those for us?" Aidan said excitedly

Selene came down the inner stairs with Naoma who's hair she had just been doing

Torvil chuckled. "Maybe... Have you been good?"

"Always!" both boys cried and raced outside taking hold of Torvil one on either side

Naoma giggled and ran out to join them taking hold of her grandfather from behind

Ala shook her head "Mind if we come in?"

Selene smiled "Course not, come on in"

Torvil chuckled and walked into the house. "Well gee... Suddenly these dragons are really heavy..." he smirked. "Or perhaps its' the extra pounds I've gained..."

Ala laughed "I'm the one gaining weight... but maybe it's the fact you have 6 dragons right now"

Torvil chuckled. "Perhaps..." He smiled and stood in the center of the room. "Alright, all good little dragons front and center."

Ala chuckled and took a seat on a chair

Selene stood next to her mother

All 3 kids detached from him and raced for a spot in front of their grandfather

Torvil smiled and passed out the dragons, Naoma getting the yellow one, and the two boys getting the red and green respectively. "Feel free to trade for your favorite color..."

All three squealed happily and raced upstairs making again what sounded like a stampede worth of sound

Torvil laughed and sat down on the couch.

Selene shook her head "Thanks dad" she said with a chuckle "I'll have to remind them of their manners"

Torvil chuckled. "Its okay for now... Their happiness is thanks enough..."

Selene smiled and nodded "How are you two doing?"

"Okay..." Torvil chuckled. "Found out Torvin got himself some action..."

Selene laughed "Told him there was females here"

Torvil chuckled. "Well obviously he found one..."

Selene laughed "And I'm sure you gave him lots of fatherly 'advise' " she winked

Torvil chuckled. "Yes, I did..."

"I can only imagine" she chuckled and glanced towards her mother who looked as if she was starting to nod off. "Mom ok?" she asked her father

Torvil smiled softly. "She's just tired..." He scooted over to Ala and moved her to put her head in his lap.

Ala looked up at him briefly before closing her eyes again

"Tired? I don't think I've seen mom let herself get tired..." Selene mused sitting on an armchair

"She's had a rough couple days..." He sighed and stroked Ala's hair. "Haunting and all..."

"What?!?" Selene sat up straight

"Shhh..." He waved her to calm down. "Shezar was haunting your mother... She banished him..." He brushed her hair. "She was having trouble sleeping until I showed her he really was there..."

Selene stared at her father open mouthed not saying anything

Ala dozed off for the first time in a couple days

Torvil brushed her hair. "On that note, your kids might get introduced to their great-grandfather... "

Selene blinked "Grandfather? how? he's dead... He's someone I thought who would never be brought back!"

Torvil nodded. "He's a very different man now, and perhaps worth the effort..." He sighed. "I'm probably going to have to get some help from other side though..."

"How so dad?" she was a little concerned about this after all her grandfather had been part of the group who had tried to kill her and her twin brother

Torvil smiled softly. "Well for one, he's repented... And Two..." He brushed Ala's hair. "He said he wasn't worthy of your son being named after him..."

Selene nodded slowly

"So I think he's finally alright..." He said softly.

"We'll see dad, I guess we'll see" she said quietly

Torvil nodded, and leaned back.

Selene sighed "Can I get anything for you dad?" she said standing up and heading for the kitchen "I don't store blood here though so it'll have to be something different."

Torvil chuckled. "Anything will do..."

Selene nodded and disappeared into the kitchen returning a few minutes later with a cup of coffee for him and a glass of juice for her

Torvil smiled and took it from her, sipping at it lightly.

"What else have you guys been doing?" Selene asked after sitting down again

"Finding out exactly how close we can be..." He said softly, brushing her hair with a slight smirk.

Selene chuckled "Ok that's nearing tmi dad..."

Torvil chuckled. "I won't go into detail..."

"Thankyou I appreciate it..." she said with a nod "Anything else talking worthy?" she asked looking u at the ceiling as a set of feet ran across a room above the ceiling

Torvil hummed for a moment. "Not off the top of my head..."

"Ok..." Selene said drinking her juice

"Oh!" Torvil thought for a moment. "Bump's moving now..."

Selene smiled "Must be an experience you are enjoying dad"

Torvil purred happily. "Yeah... You guys didn't move around all the much.."

Selene laughed "Neither did the triplets, I don't think we really had time to"

Torvil nodded. "Yeah, his one seems to be going pretty steady..." He ran a hand along bump softly.

Selene smiled "When's mom due?"

Torvil shrugged. "I haven't the slightest clue, we're waiting for a call for a checkup and whatnot."

Selene nodded "I see"

Torvil brushed Ala's hair and rubbed bump softly. "Yeah..." He smiled lightly. "Are they going to come down anytime soon?

"Hang on dad" she did want to holler so she went upstairs after the triplets, a few minutes later they came walking down having been warned of their grandmother being asleep followed by Selene

Torvil smiled. "How are my favorite dragons?" He chuckled lightly, not all that loud so as to not wake Ala.

All three grinned at him "We're good" Aidan replied for them

Selene sat down again

Torvil smiled and nodded his head. "And how is your father?"

"Daddy is at work" Naoma piped up as the three of them crowded onto the loveseat

Torvil chuckled. "Oh? He wasn't at the gate..." He looked to Selene.

Selene nodded looking at the clock "He'd just be getting back from his lunch break about 15 minutes ago"

Torvil nodded and smiled. "Ah I see..." He smiled. "Has Torvin contacted you yet..."

"Not in a few days, I got the impression he's rather busy"

Torvil chuckled. "I think he was... " He smiled at the kids, and kept stroking Ala's hair and rubbing bump.

Naoma giggled "Whatcha doing grandpa?" she asked watching his actions

Torvil smiled. "Rubbing bump and stroking your grandmother's hair..."

"Why?" Naoma asked

He smiled. "Because I feel like it..."

"Oh" she sat down and looked at something else in the room

Selene smiled softly

Torvil chuckled. "And also because I love the both of them very much..."

Naoma giggled and nodded

Torvil smiled and looked at the three. "Did you like you presents?"

All three kids nodded happily "Yup"

Torvil smiled. "Good... Take good care of them..."

"We will, thanks grandpa!" Aidan said

Torvil smiled and nodded, leaning back happily and continuing to brush Ala's hair and massage bump.

Ala yawned and slowly opened her eyes looking around then up at him

Torvil purred happily. "Hungry Shade of my heart?"

Ala nodded "Did I...?" she glanced around noticing the triplets downstairs again

Torvil chuckled. "Yes, you took a nap..." He looked up at Selene. "Do you have anything we could eat?"

Selene thought for a minute "Sandwiches ok? I could make some for the kids too"

Ala blinked "I don't remember doing so" she mused quietly

Torvil brushed her hair. "You were tired... Sandwiches okay?"

Ala nodded "Sandwiches are fine"

Selene smiled and disappeared into the kitchen

Torvil kissed the top of her head lightly. "How do you feel?"

Ala thought for a moment "tired actually" she admitted

Torvil nodded. "You can eat and nap... I'll take you home while you sleep..."

Ala nodded and pushed herself up to sit

Selene returned with a tray of roast beef sandwiches for all 6 of them

Torvil smiled and took one, handing it to ala, then one for himself. He chuckled. "You're short a sandwich..." He gave her a smirk.

Selene laughed "There's more then 6 sandwiches there dad, the kids tend to eat more then one each on their own, I think I used the whole loaf of bread"

Ala smiled and started eating

Torvil chuckled. "Really?" He smirked at the kids. "But are you sure you didn't forget bump?"

Selene laughed and shook her head

Torvil chuckled and ate his fill leaning back and waiting for Ala.

Ala ate 2 then stopped, the triplets wolfed down at least 2 each

Torvil smiled. "Ready to go love, or do you want to start napping here..." He kissed her cheek.

"Doesn't matter" Ala said quietly

Selene smiled at her parents then took the now empty tray to the kitchen while they decided

Torvil brushed her hair and stood, pulling her into his arms. "Selene hun... I'm going to take your mother home..." He smiled at the kids. "I'll see you guys later..."

Selene returned just in time to hear his words "All right dad have a safe flight"

Ala relaxed in his arms and closed her eyes again

Triplets all waved happily "Bye grandpa, bye grandma!"

Torvil waved. "Bye!" He walked out the door and down the street, making sure the guards took his name down at the gate and flew off towards home.
