| After the Nap & The New Cave
Mikiri puttered around her work after her nap, letting out a light sigh. She knew she would be the one to break the news to Torvil and Ala, and that would not be the most fun thing for her to do. She sighed and shook her head, her hands working at the basket once more.
Surion woke looking around and sitting up, he saw his sleeping cousin beside of him and the door, he crawled off the pallet heading for the door
Mikiri was still puttering around when he wandered out, she was quite focused in her work, but his footsteps, though soft as they were for his size, were heard by her, and she slowly turned her head to look at him.
"Sur gogo" he said quietly standing and looking up at her chewing a little on his finger
Mikiri nodded and walked over, leading him to the bathroom, and letting him do his business, waiting outside the door way for him.
Surion came out after looked up at her "Sur up" he said reaching upwards to her
Mikiri smiled and reached down and picked him up with a smile. "Okay..." She smiled and held him close to her with a smile.
Surion leaned against her his eyes darting about the room as if looking for something
Mikiri brushed his hair. "What are you looking for Surion?" She asked softly, kissing the top of his head softly.
"Big big aminal" he said quietly still looking around making sure none were around
"Oh Surion..." Mikiri sighed, hugging the little boy closer to her and putting her face in his hair. "There are not big big animals up here..." She murmured.
"Otay" Surion said quietly cuddling against her feeling safe in her arms
Mikiri sighed and brushed the child's hair and then went to go sit on her couch. She didn't know how much longer his parent's would be, and she really hoped they would take him soon... She knew she would have to take care of her son soon.
Surion didn't want to leave his aunts arms, now and then looking around to reassure himself there wasn't any predators around
Mikiri brushed his hair and sighed every time he did. She wondered when Torvil and Ala would get back, and almost sighed with relief when Torvil came walking into the cave.
Ala was talking with him as she appeared behind him taking about the cave they were going to move into
Surion saw his parents and squirmed off his aunt's lap, off the couch and bolted towards his father wrapping his arms around his leg when he got there
Torvil leaned down and smiled. "Hey little guy... How did your day go..." He murmured, slowly picking him up and smiling at his sister. "Yeah, it'll be a nice cave love, I'm sure..."
"Sur not like big aminal" he whimpered clinging to his father's neck and like he had with his grandfather, he wrapped his tail around his father's arm
Ala quirked a brow at her son's statement
Torvil brushed his hair and looked to his sister for answers, his brow likewise rising a few inches.
Mikiri sighed. "My son decided it would be a good idea to head down the ramp and into the plains, he took Surion and two girls with him, They were attacked by a Jaguar, and Korvil was thankfully there to save them, it chased them halfway up the ramp... he said anyway..."
Ala's eyes widened, she'd not been in the plains herself but had heard about them "What?!" she looked between her son and mate and her sister in law
Torvil's face was drawn into a not so happy image. "He did?" He said softly, then looked to Surion for a moment and brushed his hair.
Mikiri sighed. "Yes, he did, and he has been punished for it, thankfully, no one was injured or killed, so we can thank Visha for that... But I don't think Jakath will be getting up and playing anytime soon..." She murmured
Ala stared back and forth between them moving closer to her son and resting a hand on his leg
Surion looked up at his father his eyes held the fear he'd felt
Torvil brushed his hair and sighed, putting his forehead to his son's. "You're safe now..." he turned and looked at Mikiri. "I hope you gave him a few good licks for me..." He said softly.
"You and Grandfather both..." She sighed and rubbed her hand. The knuckles on her right were a little bruised.
Surion cuddled against his father whimpering softly
Ala sighed "This is not how this day was supposed to go" she said rubbing a temple
Torvil hugged his son and sighed. "I know love... I know... But sometimes things happen..." he murmured softly, leaning over and kissing her cheek. "Lets go take Surion to our new home... Let him see it, and see that it's safe..."
Ala nodded "Thanks Mikiri, for taking him while we did that" she turned to head out "Guess it's time we taught Surion the no going areas of the cliffs, though I doubt we'll ever find him going down that ramp any time soon"
Torvil nodded slowly and sighed. "Yeah..." Though he knew exactly when Surion would be heading down that ramp again... The day of his hunt. He bit his lip but nodded anyway, holding his son close to him.
Mikiri smiled weakly. "It was no problem sister, it was my pleasure." She bowed her head. "I just wish this day could have ended on better terms..."
"Yeah better terms would have nicer" Ala said with a sigh "However, we can't control what happens in life. I don't hold anything against ya" she said with a nod
Surion cuddled close to his father whimpering
Torvil brushed his hair more and soothingly started to hum softly, rocking him back and forth as he slowly headed out the door. "Night Mikiri..." he Said before returning to humming.
"Thank you, and goodnight..." She said softly as she slowly stood to head back to her work.
Ala smiled and waved and then followed her mate and son from the cave
Surion quieted listening to his father's humming against his chest
Torvil walked and hummed, looking over his shoulder at Ala and slowly his pace, still humming softly and hoping Surion would fall asleep... He needed to talk to Ala about something, it was rather important now that he tell her all he could...
Surion did doze off, humming and singing very often did that too him, and he was in the presence of a very familiar scent and that in itself was comforting
Ala hurried and caught up to Torvil and Surion walking along side of him
"We have a problem..." He said softly, not wanting to wake Surion, nor wanting him to hear what he was about to say... yet.
"A problem?" Ala asked quietly looking at him with a curious expression
"I'm risking a bit by telling you this... Some of the hunters like nothing to be know about the hunt... But I think it's safe enough to say that everybody knows this... Surion's going to have to go down that ramp again..." He said softly.
"Down the ramp" she sighed "I'm guessing you are referring to what he's going to be doing after he grows" she said quietly
Torvil nodded. "Unless he grows wings between now and then that ramp is the only way down off the cliffs." He murmured weakly. "The only way... Every one takes it... There isn't another choice... He has to leave the cliffs and return to the cliffs by his own power..." he stopped after that. "I'm starting to say to much..."
Ala sighed and bit her lip "Yeah, don't tell me what you shouldn't" she said "Hopefully when the time comes he'll be ready for it"
Torvil nodded slowly. "Yeah... With hope..." He wished he could tell her everything... But rules were rules, and the penalty for breaking them... Were dire. He sighed and rubbed his son's back softly.
Ala nodded "I understand" she said her mind thinking as she walked alongside them
Torvil nodded and sighed walking along. "Maybe one day... if things change..." he said hopeful. "But again, I doubt it..." He closed his eyes and shook his head.
"Torvil, how many female hunters are there?" she asked curiously. "Or is that not allowed to be told too"
Torvil was silent for a moment. "Quite a few... My... Sister is one..." He said softly.
Ala nodded wrapping an arm around his waist as they neared the newer cave
Torvil purred softly. "Maybe I should introduce you..." He murmured. "She's my older sister... Melania..." He kissed her cheek softly and cuddled against her, even as he held Sur.
"I think the only family members of yours that I know are your relatives are your mom, dad, two brothers and Mikiri" Ala chuckled "Though I'm sure you have many many more"
Torvil chuckled. "More than I can count..." He smiled. "But you meet them every once and awhile..." he said softly nodding his head. "You should talk to her, you'll like her... I hope... I don't think she's found a mate yet..." he chuckled.
"What does she think of you, I mean all things considering" she asked softly
Torvil was quiet for awhile. "Before the hunt, I did not exist... After the hunt..." he was silent for a moment. "I had much honor in her eyes... She was one of the very few that would stand my presence... Now..." He smiled softly. "I've not seen her in a long time... So we'd have to visit her..."
Ala nodded "Might be nice to see more of your family, especially now that well... that your father accepts you"
Torvil nodded slowly. "Yeah..." he said softly. "He was the main person everyone looked to... Not that you really had a choice... It was follow him... Or get beaten..."
"I think your father really has changed, even from the first time I met him" she told him softly
Torvil nodded slowly. "Yeah..." he said softly, kissing her cheek and letting out a sigh. "Though today I'm sure he would have happily backslid..."
Ala sighed "Lets not think about that" she said giving her Mate's waist a squeeze
Torvil nodded slowly and let out a sigh, closing his eyes for a moment. "Yeah..." He said softly slowly walking into their new cave. "Yeah... Lets let Surion sleep with us tonight at least..."
"I think that might be a good idea, he's pretty clingy right now" She said softly leaning against him
Torvil nodded and kissed her cheek again. "Yeah..." he murmured softly. "I hope he... I hope he gets over the fear..." He sighed. "But at least no one got hurt... By the Jaguar at least..."
Ala nodded "Definitely agreed, I am so very glad your father was near them"
Torvil nodded slowly. "Yeah, I think he was going out for the day... Things didn't go as planned... But I think Mother will have a new throw for the babies..." At that moment Torvil swore. "Gah! I almost forgot, we promised we'd visit before morrow.."
Ala stopped "Should we do that before we go to the new cave?" she asked
"Yeah..." He murmured, changing his course so that they would hit his mother's cave instead. "We did promise..."
Ala did an about face with him heading in the direction he was "We wont stay long though, I'm sure she needs her rest, I remember what it's like"
Torvil nodded. "Just long enough to say high, and maybe let Surion touch her tummy and feel them kick..." He murmured. "She should be about there by now..."
"Hopefully we can get him to let go of you" she said quietly
Torvil sighed softly and nodded. "Yeah..." He murmured weakly. "I wish we could make him forget... But no... He needs to get through this, work through it and become stronger..." He sighed and shook his head. "He's fine for a non cliff child... But...." He bit his lip.
Ala sighed and nodded "He's not used to things the Cliff way, it's part of why we are here" she said quietly
Torvil nodded and sighed as well. "Yeah..." He murmured. "But that's alright... He'll learn..." He murmured softly. "He will be strong... Like everyone here..."
"Will just take him a little longer then the others" she said softly
Torvil nodded. "I know love... I know... I'm... I'm really glad he's the way he is..." he said softly holding him closer as he neared his mother's cave. "I know he'll grow up to be kind and caring... Just like his mum..."
Ala purred softly "Thankyou love" she said softly and got a bit quiet as they closed on the cave door
Torvil nuzzled her softly and walked into the cave, seeing his mother sitting on the couch, and she probably wasn't going anywhere else till it was time, she was rather large. Torvil smiled and waved to her with his free hand. "Hey mom..." He said softly. "Hello Torvil..." She said softly, sighing and laying her head back.
"Hi Mom" Ala said following Torvil in and smiling softly seeing her sitting and relaxing "How ya doing?"
"Alright..." She smiled and looked up. "I'm glad Surion's okay... Korvil told me what happened..." She sighed and closed her eyes. "If he's awake... They're kicking..."
Surion woke hearing the louder voices an lifted his head from his father's chest looking around using one hand to rub his eyes
Torvil smiled. "He's awake now..." He said softly. "Surion, do you want to feel you Uncles and aunts kicking?" He asked softly.
Surion "Kick?" he was curious about this turning and looking at his grandmother who didn't look like he had seen her hours before
Mitizimi smiled at him. "Come feel..." She giggled, patting her large tummy softly,'
Surion's expression looked torn between decisions when she said that, he didn't want out of his father's arms, but he was also curious about his grandmother
Torvil slowly moved closer to her, and made it so Surion could touch without leaving his arms. He smiled softly and kissed his son's head.
Mitizimi smiled softly and moved her hands up on her tummy.
Surion reached a little hand poking her belly with a single finger
Mitizimi giggled. "Just touch it flat handed Surion, you can feel the babies kick..." She smiled softly.
Surion blinked still poking her, he wasn't exactly sure what his grandmother meant "kick"
Mitizimi giggled and took his hand, softly putting it to her tummy just as one of the children kicked.
Surion's eyes went wide and he stared at her belly "What do?" he asked his other hand clinging to his father's tunic
Mitizimi giggled. "I have babies in there Surion, and they're moving around, one of them just kicked. Another kick came and went.
Torvil chuckled and smiled.
Surion stared more "Baby in Gamma?" he asked
Mitizimi laughed softly. "More than one Surion..." She smiled softly. "More like five or six by my guess..."
"One, three, five, two, six" Surion said with a little giggle, he didn't know his numbers in the proper order but he tried.
Mitizimi giggled loudly and smiled. "Close enough..." She grinned at him. "They'll be born morrow...
Surion leaned over and planted a kissy on his grandmother's belly then sat up and leaned against his father happily
Mitizimi smiled and purred. "Thank you Surion..." She smiled. "I do hope you come and see them..." She smiled softly. Torvil nodded.
Surion nodded not moving from his father's chest listening to his father's heart
Ala chuckled "Don't worry Mom I'll make sure he comes"
Mitizimi smiled. "Thank you dear." She sighed softly and rubbed her tummy. "I best get to be before they decide to come..." She murmured slowly standing and starting to waddle to bed. "See you tomorrow!" She called as she moved.
"Or before you can't move too well" Ala said chuckling softly "We'll head out, congrats and we'll see you soon"
Surion waved a hand "Bye bye Gamma" he called quietly
Torvil smiled and started heading out. "Bye mom!" He called. "Bye you three have a good night!"
Ala turned and headed for the entrance to head out "Now then, to our new home we go"
Torvil smiled and nodded. "Yeah..." He said, heading that way.
Ala was silent most of the way home thinking as she walked, it wasn't until they were at their cave entrance that she spoke again "Torvil I'm getting feelings not being able to talk with me about things is hard..." she said softly
Torvil nodded slowly. "I want to tell you everything..." He murmured softly. "I want you to know... But I can't tell you..." He sighed softly.
"Torvil... what... what if I were to consider becoming one... I kinda find it awkward not being able to talk to my mate about things too" she asked quietly
Torvil bit his lip. "I could... talk to the others about it... Joman did it..." He said softly, softly rubbing Surion's back. "But... I'd have to find you a sponsor... Malkar did Joman..."
Ala nodded and walked into the cave leaving his side to go make a snack
Surion cuddled close and for the first time since he was born purred softly
Torvil smiled and chuckled softly and started to purr back. He rubbed his back softly and watched ala go make a snack, he went to go sit down at the table.
Ala puttered around pulling out some cliff fruit bringing it to the table before grabbing drinks and then sitting down
Torvil smiled and took a fruit, biting into it and purring louder. "Mmmm Good choice love..."
Ala chuckled softly "Just wanted a simple snack" she said cutting the fruit and handing a couple slices to Surion who took them and ate them
Torvil smiled. "Yeah..." He smiled softly and kissed Surion's hair. "You get to sleep with us tonight Surion, unless you want to try out your new room..."
Surion clung tighter to his father making it plainly obvious that wasn't what he wanted to do that night
Ala ate quietly watching them
Torvil nodded and hugged him. "Okay, with mommy and daddy it is then... You want daddy to get some of your dragons?" he asked softly.
Surion nodded looking up into his father's eyes "pease dada" he said quietly
Torvil nodded. "You want to come with Dada?" He asked softly, brushing his cheek.
Surion nodded one remaining piece of fruit clutched in his fist and he was sucking at it's juices
Torvil smiled and slowly got up, moving for Surion's room.
Surion looked around curiously when his father moved about the cave, he found it curious to be in a new place
Torvil smiled as they entered Surion's new room, his dragons lay on his pallet and he went and grabbed one.
Surion reached his un-fruity hand and took it from him and pulled it close sandwiching it between him and Torvil
Torvil smiled and kissed his head, moving back out to the main area.
"Tankyou dada" Surion said quietly then returned to munching on the fruit that was currently dripping on his father's tunic from his now sticky hand
Torvil chuckled softly and kissed his head. "No problem Sur..." He chuckled at the dripping, knowing he'd have to clean it later.
Surion finished and his now empty hand clung to his father's tunic and leaned against his chest closing his eyes
Torvil smiled and moved towards the pallet which lay in another 'room'.
Ala wandered after them humming softly
Torvil looked over his shoulder and smiled at her softly, laying down slowly on the pallet.
Ala crawled in after him noticing her son had already dropped back off to sleep as she did
Torvil smiled and slowly kissed her leaning over Surion. "Good night my love..." he said softly.
"Night Torvil love" she said softly and then went to sleep
Torvil lay awake for awhile. He sighed. He had one thought on his mind... He would talk to Ala about it... Tomorrow...
Ala slept peacefully waking with the sun the next morning, by the time she did wake she had a 'growth' by the name of Surion clinging now to her
Torvil was already up and about, he was cooking breakfast, and glad that Surion wasn't on him when he'd gotten up.
Ala sighed and scooped up her clinging and sleeping son and with a little difficulty went to locate her Mate
Torvil was puttering around the kitchen in only his pants, working on making breakfast... Eggs... and a strange looking meat.
"Hey love" Ala said trying not to wake Surion which was a pointless effort since he was already stirring from being moved
Torvil smiled softly. "Eggs and... J-a-g-u-a-r, for breakfast..." He said softly, already starting on the meat.
"Ahh, should make for an interesting meal" she said putting the letters together
Surion lifted his head looking around
Ala smiled and looked down at him "Sur gonna be a big boy and sit in his chair?" she asked him
After a few moments thought and looked at his chair then slowly nodded "Otay" he said quietly and slowly detached himself from her
Torvil smiled and when the meat was finished he put the plates down before them, the meat on Surion's plate was cut up already, and the eggs were scrambled. He chuckled. "Dad thought we should get a cut after he talked to some of the witnesses..." he said vaguely.
Ala quirked a brow putting her son down "Witnesses?" she asked curiously and pushed his plate closer to him so he could eat
"The two female ones said that ours helped in the defensive end..." He said softly, nodding his head. "A very brave and noble thing to do..." He said softly. "The other male also verified it..." He wasn't trying to let Surion know what he was talking about as he ate.
Ala nodded "You'll have to tell me more about it laters" she mused wanting to hear more about this
Surion ate his meal not really totally paying attention to anything but his meal
Torvil smiled. "How's the meal Surion?" He asked softly, cutting his own meat and eating.
Surion looked up at his dad "Sur have nummy foods" he said with a smile and then returned to eating
Ala chuckled and shook her head
Torvil couldn't help but laugh softly... If only he knew... He was quite sure his son would be running as far away from his plate as possible...
Ala finished off her meal and watched as Surion did the same "So what's on the agenda today" she asked him
Torvil tapped his chin. "Well Jakath's out of commission... We should Visit mum and see if the babies are here... Other than that... " He shrugged.
Ala nodded "You still have something to explain to your son too" she told him "If you think he's ready for it"
Torvil nodded slowly. "Yeah..." He sighed softly and looked at him. "I'm not sure... yet..." he sighed and shook his head. "I'll try..."
Ala nodded gathering their empty plates heading for the sink 'something wrong love' she asked him in her said in her mind
'I'm just not sure he's ready yet...' He murmured into her mind. 'I mean... well... He might be, but I still think his minds too young...'
Ala nodded and worked on cleaning the dishes up as her son sat drinking from his cup his juice
Torvil let out a short burst of air. "Surion... Do you remember when that girl gave you that flower? The little red one?"
Surion looked up from his glass "Fower? " he asked and then a moment later nodded
"Okay, good..." He said softly. "When a girl gives you a flower, that means she likes you..." He said softly.
Surion tipped his head to one side "Girl like Sur?"
Torvil nodded. "Yes, Girl like Sur..." He said softly. "But she like you... more than a friend... Like how mommy likes daddy... Well kinda like how mommy likes daddy, a bit less than mommy likes daddy..."
Surion stared at him his lips parted a little his face full of confusion about this
Torvil sighed and took a long breath. "In other words, she likes you a lot.."
"Uhhh Otay...." he said completely not understanding his father
Torvil sighed. "Never mind Surion..." He leaned back in his chair. 'I tried...'
Ala chuckled "Try again when he's ready"
Surion returned to his drink still watching his father
Torvil nodded and rubbed his temples. "Yeah... Will do..." He chuckled weakly.
Surion climbed down from his chair and then wandered out of the room he wanted to see his room, he moved slowly looking around constantly for danger as he walked
Torvil watched him go for a moment and sighed, looking to Ala.
Ala looked back at him "Ok now I know something is bothering you" Ala said after her son had disappeared into the hall towards the bedrooms
"I was thinking last night..." he said softly.
"What about it?" she asked not quite sure what he referred to
"I hate having to keep a secret from you..." He murmured softly. "But I don't want to put you at risk..." He closed his eyes and sighed.
Ala quirked a brow crossing her arms loosely
"The Hunt dear... The things I can't tell you about it... Its' driving me nuts..." He sighed weakly
Ala sighed "Somehow I'm not entirely surprised, there has been almost nothing we have not been able to share or tell each other"
Torvil nodded and sighed. "I'll tell you just one more thing... Something I can tell you..." He rubbed his temples. "There's a good chance... That Surion could get hurt on the hunt... or even... die..." He murmured softly.
"Torvil, as much as I know you are trying to spare me, I've already accepted that as a possible fact about this hunt, I also know however by the time he goes on that hunt his powers and abilities will either have manifested, or will begin to manifest, and if they do it is something that will by a good chance, help in that way if he gets hurt, just remember, there's really only two ways to easily kill a Kerrsalian, this..." she tapped her gem lightly "or this..." she drew a finger across her neck
Torvil nodded slowly and smiled. "I know love... I know..." he stood and moved over to her, pulling her into a hug and flicking at her gem having his finger bounce back. "And unless he goes up against a dragon, I doubt that shield will fail..." he murmured. "And don't worry, my job is to protect him should he... fall unconscious..."
Ala nodded and returned the hug "I'm glad you will be there" she said softly
Torvil nodded. "I am too, but it's my duty as his father to be there..." He murmured softly and kissed her cheek.
Ala nodded "I understand that" she said quietly wondering to herself his honest opinion of what she had asked him the night before
Torvil kissed her cheek and hugged her tight. "Now if I only knew someone who'd sponsor you we could get you set up too..."
Ala nodded and pulled away "I should go check on Surion" she said softly
Torvil kissed her cheek. "Here, I'll come too..." He said softly. trying to stay close.
Ala nodded and headed for the hall way listening for the sounds of her son, there were none "Interesting" she mused and sniffed following his scent. she pushed open her son's door and looked around, she didn't see him at first,,, then she did, or at least his tail... sticking out from the bottom of his pile of stuffed dragons
Torvil sighed and walked over, and slowly started to undo the pile of Dragons. "Surion?"
Surion was in fact asleep under the pile of dragons that was on his bed
Ala walked closer as well and had to chuckle softly at the scene when her son was unburied enough to see
Torvil chuckled too and smiled. "Should we let him sleep or?" He looked at Ala questioningly.
"Somehow I think he didn't sleep too well last night considering he usually doesn't move a lot at night and he went from clinging to you, to clinging to me, so lets leave him" she said quietly
Torvil nodded. "We should stay close though, lest he wake up alone and be more scared..." He sighed softly.
Ala nodded "Within earshot, perhaps the living room" she said heading for the door
Torvil nodded heading after her, letting out a light sigh but shaking his head. In time...
Ala waited till they got to the living room before turning and looking at him "Torvil, your honest thoughts... what do you think about it? about what I asked you that is"
"I think it's a wonderful idea..." He murmured softly. "But it will have to wait until i can get you a sponsor..." He murmured weakly.
Ala nodded " 'K " she said and wandered over to the couch sitting in it's middle and patting the couch beside her
Torvil smiled and walked over to her and hugged her tight. "I'll talk to the hunters about it when... we get there... I'm sure I can find you a sponsor... Hell Malkar will probably jump at the chance..."
Ala nodded "Even after I hit his father, that'd be ... interesting... " she mused and got out of his grasp only to lay down and put her head in his lap "That was an uncontrolled blast too, what I used in the under caves was more controlled" she murmured
Torvil nodded and brushed her hair. "Well remember love, he hated his father..." He chuckled softly. "And besides... I did bring him back from the dead..."
"And I brought you back from the brink of death too" she laughed"
Torvil chuckled softly. "See so I owe you one..." he softly ran a finger along her ear.
Ala purred softly "I'm just thinking, it would make for less stress here at home, if you didn't have to keep things from me" she said softly
Torvil nodded and kept softly running his finger along her ear, then into her hair, across her cheek. "Yeah..." He said softly.
"Not like I haven't fought before" she murmured
Torvil nodded and brushed her hair. "I don't like it when we fight..."
"Not you" she said opening her eyes to look up at him "I meant both Shazar, and the drow"
Torvil tapped his head. "Teach me to listen better neh?" He chuckled softly. "And that's true... But... No energy..." He tapped her nose.
Ala chuckled "Yeah Yeah I know"
Torvil chuckled softly and leaned down to give her a kiss, but stopped half way. "Gah... Can't bend any farther..."
Ala laughed and lifted up till she reached his lips and then kissed him softly
Torvil purred and held the kiss as long as he could, then slowly pulled away.
Ala looked up at him with a smile and lay down again
Torvil purred and went back to brushing her hair and letting his finger brush her skin. "This is nice..."
Ala nodded "Anything left at the other cave to get yet?" she asked softly
Torvil thought for a moment. "I think I got everything... Did you grab the claw from the storage unit?
"I thought you did" she frowned looking up at him
Torvil winced. "I thought you had..." He sighed. "Lets go get it... No wait... what if Surion wakes up..."
"I'll stay, you go" she said and sat up
Torvil sighed. "Okay... But I'll be back in as fast as I can..." He got up, kissed her and ran.
Ala nodded and lay back down closing her eyes by the time he returned she was once again laying on the couch but she had Surion atop of her
Torvil sighed softly but let it go, he put the claw in the new storage area, but walked over and sat in an open spot.
"Hey love" Ala said softly as she ran her fingers through Surion's hair
Surion looked up "Hi dada" he said smiling
Torvil smiled. "Hey Surion..." He reached out and brushed his hair, and then Ala's. "I see somebody woke up..."
Ala nodded "Yup a few minutes ago" she said sitting p and putting Surion down on the floor with his stuffed dragon
Torvil smiled and nodded, rolling his neck. He yawned softly and lay his head back.
Ala got up "Watch your son love, I'm going for a walk" she smiled softly and headed for the outside
Surion looked from his mother up to his father
Torvil nodded his head and bit back a sigh. "Okay darling..." he smiled at Surion.
Surion got up and walked over to his father and moved to climb up into his lap
Torvil smiled and looked down at him. "Hey..."
"Dada, Sur frow rock" he said sitting in his father's lap
Torvil brushed his hair. "I know..." He said softly. "That was very brave of you..." he said.
"Jakaf no get pounce" he said his tail moving side to side
Torvil smiled and brushed his cheek. "No, Jakath didn't get pounced, you saved his life, that was very noble of you... Did you like breakfast today Surion?"
Surion nodded "Nummy" he replied to his father's question
"Good... The meat was the Jaguar..." Torvil said.
Surion stared at his father becoming rather still at his father's words
"Yes Surion, you ate what hunted you..." He murmured brushing his cheek.
"Otay" he said quietly now playing with the end of his tail
Torvil brushed his cheek. "you see Surion, you won out against it..." He murmured. "You don't have to be afraid of it... it tired to eat you, and in the end... you ate it..."
Surion slowly nodded "Sur eatted" he said watching his father
Torvil smiled and patted his cheek with a nod.
"What Sur do now?" he asked not sure what to do next in his day
Torvil tapped his chin. "I don't know Sur, I really don't..."
"Otay" he said and climbed off his father's lap running towards where he had earlier found the bathroom
Torvil chuckled and let him go, taking this moment of silence to think.
