Devin was puttering around the kitchen cupboards looking for a snack to have while he was writing, nothing sticky or messy, something easy that wouldn't drip or dirty his notebook...

Surion poked his head into the kitchen hearing the noise his mom was reading. he grinned and toddled in stopping beside the male and looking up "Hihi!"

Devin groaned in his throat and looked down. "Hi..." He said softly, his tail flicking annoyed as he went back to food hunting.

"Whatcha doin?" Surion asked

"Looking for food..." Devin said quietly as he kept looking, thankful he'd left his notebook hidden in his room.

"You hungry?" he asked "There food in dere" he pointed a the fridge but he didn't leave Devin's side

"I'm not that hungry, and I'm only looking for a snack..." The hybrid explained, wishing the child would leave him alone.

"Snack dere too, mama get dere all time" Surion informed him

Devin shook his head and tossed a small sugar laden energy bar down at the boy. "Chew on that..." He murmured, taking one for himself.

Surion picked up the item that bonked him on the head "Otay!" he said "You open?" he asked after a moment holding it up

Devin sighed and rolled his eyes, he opened it and shoved it back into the boys hands. "There..." He said, tearing his own open with his teeth, brushing the purple sweater he wore.

Surion bounced excited to try something new and started eating it

Devin chuckled and little and ate his bar as he started to head back to his room, his tail swishing.

Surion followed after him only half done but by now running circles around the hybrid

Devin sighed. "What?" He asked, looking down at the child, really wanting to just be alone, but knowing that shouting at the brat was a no-no, might make Torvil mad.... And he didn't want that. As wild as he was inside, he didn't want to be impeded in his work

"You neat Sur like you" he said in a happy nearly sing-song voice

Devin smacked his forehead. Great... Just f'in great. "That's nice..." He said, biting back a hiss as his tail thrashed a bit more annoyed

"You have a tail just like Sur have tail" he stopped in front of the hybrid swinging his own tail around before eating more of the treat the hybrid had given him

Devin nodded. "Yeah... I do..." He murmured, his orange and black tail thrashing a little less annoyed. So the kid wasn't fully human, neither was Torvil for that matter... But still, He didn't like Torvil, Torvil was... imposing somehow... He shook his head his ears going flat. "You're not going to follow me all the way to my room are you?"

Surion grinned he watched the hybrid and stuffed the last of the bar into his mouth and turned and bolted... right through the hybrid's partially open door

Devin winced and dashed in right after him. "Hey! Hey! did I say you could come in here!"

Surion giggled running around the far side of the bed and climbed up atop the bed to bounce on it

Devin smacked his forehead, thankfully his notebook was under the mattress, not that the kid could read... He moved over. "Alright... Less jumping..."

Surion didn't stop "You jump too!"

Devin shook his head. "No... I don't want to jump to... I've..." He shook his head. "Nevermind..." He sighed and flopped onto the bed.

Surion giggled and jumped over to him and sat... on him

Devin grunted and sighed. "Hi..." He said softly, wondering if it had been a mistake to feed this... animal.

Surion raan his fingers un Devin's arm "You soft, why you soft"

"Because I'm covered in fur..." He said softly shivering a little at the touch... It wasn't often he got soft touches

"Why?" Surion persisted still feeling the fur curiously

"Cause... Thats' how I was born..." He said softly.

"Why" Suion was now officially wound up as he bounced a lil ticking the fur under his fingertips

Devin groaned. "Cause... cause I just was okay!" He hissed a little, not wanting to delve into his parentage just then.

"Why" he giggled, he didn't realize it was bugging the hybrid. but he certainly liked the feel of the fur

Devin sighed and closed his eyes. "Just cause..." "Surion..." Torvil stuck his head into the room.

Surion looked up still bouncing "DADA!!!!" he cried out happily

Devin grunted. "Surion why don't you come play with Daddy..."

"Otay!" Surion said and got up jumping to the edge of the bed and then climbing off and bolting out of the room grabbing his dad's hand on the way

Torvil smiled and ruffled his hair. Devin's eyes said the thank you he could not bring himself to utter.

"Dadadadadadadadada" Surion was excited and TRYING to pull his father with him but gave up and let go bolting out of the hall

Torvil smacked his forehead and hurried after. Devin jumped up and went about barricading his door.

Surion was running circles around his room and jumping on and off his bed by the time his father caught up

Torvil entered and chuckled. "You're crazy Surion... What did you do?"

"What Sur do?" he stopped for a nanosecond to look at his father before continuing

"You're so manic today!" He chuckled moving over and sitting down on the bed next to Surion watching him bounce.

Surion bounced over and started climbing on him

Torvil chuckled and lay down, "Grwaarr..."

Surion squealed and bounced a lil very very full of energy

Torvil chuckled and shook his head. "What has gotten into you today!" He laughed.

"Grrrrr Sur dragon" he said 'attacking' with toddler-tickles at his father's sides

Torvil laughed and squirmed as he was tickled. "Ahhh! I'm under attack!"

"Get dada get dada!!!!" he screeched doubling his efforts

Torvil laughed and with his streght slowly lifted him up. "Whoa there tiger... I don't think you should get dada..." He smirked, remembering Ala was reading. "You should get Mama.."

"MAMAMAMAMAMAMA!" he screeched and before Torvil had a chance to say anything or even look he bolted out the room

Torvil smacked his forehead, "What has gotten into that child..." He murmured getting up to attempt to save his wife...

"Torvil! What did you give him!" came the yell as Surion had started climbing all over her now

"I didn't do it!" Torvil said as he moved to try and pry his son from his wife. "He was like this when I got him from Devin's room..."

"He wasn't like this when he left this room 20 minutes ago Torvil" Ala said trying to hand him her book so it didn't get destroyed

Torvil snatched the book and tossed it on the coffee table. "Devin must have given him something cause he was like this when I snagged him from him..."

"TREAT TREAT TREAT!!!" he screeched bouncing in his mom's lap

Ala looked pointedly at Torvil "Ok since it was YOUR hybrid that did this YOU can take him to wear some of this energy off"

Torvil sighed and rolled his eyes... "Aww... But can't we get someone else to do it... I don't think I have the energy to wear him down..."

Ala stared at him "Your Hybrid, your issue, least till we try and get him to bed"

Torvil sighed. "Alright..." He murmured. "Surion... Come to dad..."

Surion jumped off his mom's lap with a THUD and ran at his dad

Torvil grabbed him and headed for the door........
