Torvil walked back into the room, two bags over his shoulders. "I didn't know how much we needed so I kind brought it... All..."

Ala looked up from the journal she was writing in, Dia had headed back out leaving her and Surion to wait for Torvil. She giggled seeing how much he brought "Depends on what we are doing from here I guess."

"We could get a house here like the cliffs..." He said softly. "Unless you have other plans."

Ala chuckled "We don't need a house here love, we are only half hour from home."

Torvil chuckled, and and sat down on the bed softly, reaching to touch their son's face. "How's he doing?"

"Good, he's been a quiet lil guy all day" Ala said with a smile

Surion looked up blinking and sucking his thumb clinging to the corner of the blanket in his little fist

Torvil smiled and leaned down to kiss his son's forehead. "Hello Lil Surion..." He smiled and brushed his cheek softly.

Surion let go of his thumb and turned his head towards his father's hand toothless mouth open trying to suckle

Torvil chuckled softly. "Is that a reflex?" He asked softly.

Ala giggled "He's hungry, so in a way yes, if you stroke an infants cheek and they go after your hand they are searching for food"

Torvil smiled. "You gonna feed him? Cause I can't..." He sighed sadly at that... and kissing Surion's head again.

Ala chuckled "He needs his bottom changed too. You can do that much"

Torvil nodded and picked Surion up, moving to go change his diaper.

Ala smiled "put some clothes on him too, your choice what" she said eying the big bags

Torvil smiled softly and swiftly changed him, then grabbed a red and black outfit, slipping it on him with a smile, and then held him, rocking him as he walked back to the bed.

"Don't forget his blanket, he seems to be hooked to it" Ala said watching Surion's little hands opening and closing

Torvil smiled and moved over to the bed, getting his blanket and put it in his son's hands.

Ala smiled having put the journal aside she reached for him "He's so cute" she said softly

Torvil grudgingly gave Ala Surion with a smile. "Yes he is..." He sat down next to her.

Ala chuckled "You can have him back after he's fed" she said as she brought him to her and nursed him

Torvil smiled softly. "I'll burp him..." He purred softly, watching.

Ala nodded "Course you can" she smiled and watched him "You seemed exhausted by the time it was all over last night and i was the one in labor"

Torvil chuckled. "A lot of stress leaving the body fast..." He smiled and brushed her hair. "And I did jump here... Not directly..."

Ala chuckled "You would have had time to fly with how long it took"

Torvil smiled. "I didn't know that... and I was kinda in a panic..." He smiled softly and kissed her cheek.

"Figured you might have been... I didn't know how long it would take either, Cariss sent Lene for you" she said with a smile

Torvil chuckled and smiled. "Oh? Who's that..." He knew very little of the people here in Kazeha... And that saddened him a bit...

"Alix's older sister, Alix has 3 or 4 siblings I believe" she said running her fingers along her son's tail as she spoke

Torvil smiled. "He's got a tail..." he said softly. "I wish I still had mine...."

"How did you ... lose yours?" Ala asked unsure if it was a touchy subject or not

"One of the changes..." he said softly. "I don't know which one exactly..."

"Oh.... I see, so I know Lene knows... does Vin?" she asked taking her son from her breast as he finished and handing him to his father

Torvil smiled and patted his back. "I don't know..." He said softly.

Ala chuckled "Guess they should know before we leave huh"

Torvil chuckled... And was about to talk when.

"Little brother where!" Torvin stuck his head in the door.

Ala laughed "Hello son come on in" she said straightening the top Dia had bought for her

Torvin smiled and entered. "Wow... He's big... and tailed..." He smiled softly walking over.

Torvil smiled and moved Surion after he burped, rocking him softly.

Ala laughed "Yes, though I doubt he will grow anywhere near as fast as you and Lene"

Torvin chuckled. "Probably a good thing..." He smiled and un wrapped his tail from around his waist, having gotten used to hiding it like a belt. He brushed his little brother's face with the tip.

Ala quirked a brow having not seen her son this visit till now

Selene poked her own head around the corner followed by two more faces

Torvin smiled and looked up. "Hey sis..."

Torvil chuckled and purred softly, kissing Surion's forehead. "I swear... A stampede soon..."

Ala laughed at her mate's words

Selene chuckled "Not sure bout stampede, but these two want to meet their new uncle" she said followed by two young girls

Torvil raised a brow, having not know Selene had produced children again. "Well now... I see Ala and I haven't been the only ones busy..."

Torvin chuckled softly.

Selene blushed hotly "They weren't exactly..... planned but yeah... Syanne and Corine" she introduced them

Torvil smiled. "Well, say hello to your uncle and grandparent's they can..." He nodded his head, showing off Surion happily.

Torvin moved against the wall, his tail flicking about softly, a smile on his face.

Selene leaned against he wall next to her twin as her girls moved over to visit their grandfather and uncle "Well least he's calmer then he was yesterday" she sad her own tail wrapping itself once around Vin's unsure if he'd even noticed it before

Torvin smiled. "I see it sis..." He chuckled. "I can feel it too..." He shivered.

Torvil smiled as the girls visited, gushing with fatherly pride.

Lene laughed and let hers swing loosely "One kid, who woulda thought eh" she said watching their father

Ala had disappeared into the bathroom

Torvin chuckled. "I'm not too surprised, all things considered... Look at the size of him..."

"Bigger then either of us were I would guess" she laughed "Oh well, whatever makes mom and dad happy"

Torvin nodded and chuckled softly. "Mmmhm... I'm thinking we should get married soon, the four of us..." He looked up at the roof. "All these babies are pushing my buttons..."

Selene chuckled "I'm not sure yet what Alix and I are doing, I wouldn't mind combining all 3 heritage styles together myself..."

Torvin chuckled. "That would be fun I think... Especially if we went with a Dragon style honey moon..."

Selene laughed "Yeah"

Torvil smiled softly and chuckled. "I wonder though, if Kimi, I, and Alix can get off work long enough... Two days is a long time..." He chuckled again. "And I wonder who would make the loud noises..."

"And I'd have to get the triplets to baby-sit" she said with a laugh "Naoma that's one story... they boys seem to be hitting a sort of rebellious stage"

Torvin shook his head. " I hope they pull out of that... Naoma's great thought... She beat my record..."

"She WHAT!" Torvil's head shot up.

Selene blinked looking up at her father

Surion whimpered softly he wasn't a fan of loud voices

Torvil frowned and kissed his son. "Sorry lil Surion..." He brushed his face softly, kissing his forehead. "So she beat your record of five minutes eh?"

Torvin nodded slowly. "By a minute..."

"You know I added a minute to your time for sharpening your pencil right?"

"No..."

Selene giggled listening to the exchange

Ala wandered back into the room with a smile

Torvin blinked. "So really I did it about the same time?"

"Yep..." Torvil said softly, rocking Surion and then playing peek-a-boo with his blanket.

Selene smirked "That's gotta make you feel better I imagine"

Surion blinked a few times every time the blanket was pulled away and latched firmly to one corner

Torvil chuckled softly and kissed his son's forehead. "You love your blanky from Grammy Visha don't you?"

Torvin's eyes widened.

Selene stared at her father "What did you say dad?"

"The blanket is from Visha... She gave it to us before Surion was born..." He smiled.

Torvin looked down at the floor, in awe.

"First me bolting outta here, then the other side, now Visha... man this is a crazy few days" Selene shook her head

Torvin looked at his sister. "You've been to other side?" He said softly.

Torvil frowned and stroked Surion's head.

"Uhmm... briefly...." she mumbled hearing her brother's question and seeing her father's face

"Lucky...." he said softly, a little jealous, but not getting mad. "I'm sure Dad didn't have a choice..."

"I didn't..." He murmured.

"I kinda threw myself at him, I said I'd bring him back, woulda been damned if he had shown up without me" she mumbled staring at the floor

"It's okay..." Torvin said softly.

Torvil smiled and rocked Surion, kissing the little boy's forehead.

Selene sighed well the girls and I should get going, feel free to drop by for visits" she looked pointedly at her twin who rarely did visit

Torvin smiled. "I'll go with you, it's been awhile and I want to visit..." he said, getting ready to go with her.

Torvil smiled. "We'll be by from time to time... His god-mum is here..." He looked to Ala, she didn't have to tell him, he knew already...

Ala smiled and nodded

Lene blinked turning in the doorway "Chose a god-mom already?"

Torvil smiled. "Not hard... She helped birth him... I've chosen a God-Father... If your mother will take him..."

Selene chuckled "I guess that makes sense, see you guys later I gotta catch up to the girls" she pointed down the hall and disappeared

Torvin followed his sister waving.

Torvil looked up at Ala. "I'm sure you know already who I chose right?" He chuckled. "Cause I know that you chose Dia... She's the obvious choice and the one I wanted to be as well..."

"I'm going to guess you are about to say As" she said

Torvil smiled. "Yeah... Your thoughts?" He asked softly.

"I really barely know him I can't say I really have thoughts in either direction" she said

Torvil looked up at her. "I want him to be... But if you don't know..." He said softly looking down at Surion. "The boy has his name..." He brushed Surion's cheek.

"Lene's son has your father's name too and neither twin has ever met him nor has the kids... " she sighed "I don't know either way, I don't know almost anything about him. I've seen him twice... " she bit her lip

Torvil nodded. "Then I won't ask him..." he said softly, and looked up at her, brushing Surion's cheek softly. "He'll understand..."

"I think I'd need to get to know him better first then I'd feel more comfortable if that makes any sense" Ala said looking up at him

Torvil nodded. "I'll talk to him about it..." He said softly, smiling up at her, and kissing Surion's head.

Ala looked around then started gathering together everything "So where to from here? Home or elsewhere?"

Torvil purred. "I was thinking... That we should head home... I want Surion to see his room..."

Ala nodded "All right" she put everything that was loose in a couple bags

Torvil held Surion. "Ummm... Who's going to hold him while we... go home..." He whispered.

"I don't think I could carry these many bags... Not right now at least, so I have a feeling it'll be me" she said

Torvil nodded and handed Surion off to Ala and got up to get the bags.

Ala purred softly wrapping the blanket around him and holding him close

Torvil smiled and grabbed all the bags, ready to head out. "Alright, lets go..." He purred at Ala.

Ala nodded and headed for the door "Need to stop and grab the birth records from the front desk" she told him

Torvil nodded and walked with her, and smiled. "Okay."

Ala purred and nuzzled her son heading for the ramp to the first floor

Torvil purred and walked with them, laden down with all the bags was nothing to him.

"I guess Surion needs a new nickname... Bump probably isn't appropriate anymore" she giggled

Torvil chuckled. "Yeah... Good point..." He tapped his chin. "Hmmm... Surry?" He smirked. "Lil Sur?" He chuckled.

Ala laughed "We might wind up with diff nicknames for him" she said stepping away from the ramp

Torvil chuckled. "Hmmm, cuddlebug?" He chuckled softly. Okay yeah... He sucked at nicknames...

Ala giggled and walked to the counter to sign out and get the papers

Torvil smiled and held the bags, waiting for her to finish up.

Ala smiled walking back to him holding the papers for him to take and put in a bag

Torvil smiled and took them, securing them away in one of the bags and smiled softly. "Alright lets head home..."

Ala nodded "Lets" she turned and headed out the doors

Torvil purred and smiled, heading out the door right behind her. "Mmm, hope Surion likes his room."

"I can't see why he wouldn't, it was made for him" she said with a chuckle

Torvil purred louder. "But the painting kinda sucks on the wall..." He sighed. "I should have let you do it..."

"The painting is wonderful love" she said resting her head on his shoulder

Torvil purred. "Really?" He asked softly.

Ala nodded "really really love"

Torvil smiled and nodded, wrapping an arm around her and kissing her and Surion. He walked with them out of the city.

Ala smiled and broke away once they exited the village and unfurled her wings looking back at him ready to take to the sky and holding Surion firmly

Torvil took to the the air, following close behind his wife and son, ready to ditch the bags and catch either if something happened. Yeah, still a little worried there..."

Ala hummed softly to her son feeling no where near as winded as her trip to Kazeha

Torvil smiled, seeing their home in the distance a bit later. He slowly started to slow and circle.

"Almost home, and what an eventful couple of days it has been" she said seeing hte house

Torvil nodded. "Yep..." He chuckled softly, landing softly and looking up at his wife, waiting for her to land to head in.

Ala touched down softly then smiled down at her son while she folded her wings in

Torvil smiled. "How's he holding up?" He chuckled heading inside slowly, wanting to put the stuff up.

"Asleep" she said with a quiet giggle

Torvil smiled. "Such a calm child..." He said softly. "Do you mind if I put his crib in our room?" He asked softly. "I don't want him all the way down the hall yet..."

"No I don't mind, will make it easier to get him for feeding in the night" Ala smiled and wandered into their room and sat on the bed's edge

Torvil nodded putting the stuff up and bringing the crib into their room, putting it down onto the floor at the end of the bed.

"You know what this means though right?" Ala chuckled

Torvil chuckled. "Yeah... I know... I'm fine with it..." He smiled at her. "I'm really not in the mood to at all... To tell the truth..."

"I'm a lil.... sore ... down there personally" she chuckled

Torvil nodded and sat down on the bed next to her. "Sides..." he kissed her cheek. "I think Lil Sur would just ruin the mood somehow..." He chuckled.

Ala chuckled "true" she got up and lay their sleeping son in his crib making sure the blanket covered him before returning to the bed and flopping backwards

Torvil purred and lay next to her, cuddling with her and running a hand up and down her side with a smile. "Love you, mommy..."

"Love you too daddy dearest" she said softly

Torvil purred and kissed the side of her head. "Tired?" He asked softly.

Ala nodded slightly "A little, long night"

Torvil smiled. "Need to sleep?" He asked her softly.

"Probably a nap might be nice" she said softly

Torvil nodded and pulled her closer and hugged her.

Ala purred softly and closed her eyes dozing against his chest

Torvil purred and smiled, brushing her hair and dozing as well.

Ala slept till her motherly instinct roused her to hear her son cooing and blowing bubbles

Torvil was already out of bed, heading for the crib, reaching down to pick up the boy.

Surion looked up at his father his hands moving around in no particular direction one hand still firmly gripping the blanket

Torvil smiled and picked him up, wrapping him up in the blanket and rocking him as he brought him over to Ala.

Ala sat up and pushed the pillows around resting against the headboard

Torvil smiled and handed her Surion as he sat next to her. He kissed her ear and nuzzled her ear.

"I kinda like he's not growing as fast as the twins" she said softly bringing him to herself to feed

Torvil purred and nodded. "Mmmmmm... yeah..." He cuddled with her and smiled as Surion fed.

Ala purred softly "Feels so nice to actually hold him in my arms"

Torvil nodded. "Mmmhm... It's nice..." He looked down at his son. "I'm so happy..." He sniffled.

Ala nodded "You glad you got a son from this mini-clutch?"

Torvil nodded and purred. "Yeah... A daughter would have just been just as good... But I think Torvin is happy..."

Ala laughed "I kinda sensed that" she watched her son feed running a finger along his cheek

Torvil purred and brushed his head with a finger. "He's so big..." He smiled.

"Over 8 pounds nearly 9" she said having had a person at the hospital weigh him

Torvil smiled. "I'm sorry..." He said, kissing her cheek..."

Ala looked up at him "For what? He's healthy, being he was the only one in there thats a good weight"

Torvil brushed her hair. "But you were in so much pain..." He said softly, kissing her cheek.

"It was worth it" she said softly

Torvil nodded. "I wish I could have helped you more..." he sighed.

"You helped me by being there, and supporting me, that's what really matters Torvil" she told him lifting Surion to her shoulder for a burp

Torvil nodded and brushed her hair, then Little Surion's cheek. "He's so adorable..." He beamed brightly.

Ala nodded tipping him back against her bent knees she he was facing her upright "Going to grow into a strong diligent young man I think"

Torvil smiled. "I don't know how much of me is in him..." He brushed the boy's cheek. "Hopefully just enough..."

"I'm sure there is a lot of you in him, just as there is me" she said tapping Surion's hands together while he held her fingertips

Torvil smiled and leaned against Ala lightly. "He's a little dear isn't he..." He softly pushed Surion's nose with a finger.

"He has to be one of the most calm and tranquil children I've ever met" Ala said with a chuckle listening to the coos

Torvil chuckled. "Yeah, less noisy than the twins..." He chuckled and brushed Surion's cheek with a finger again. "He's a little chubby too... It's cute..."

"Very cute, I think we got truly blessed Torvil" she said with a nod

Torvil smiled. "That we did Ala-love... That we did..." He smiled and kissed her cheek. "We have many to thank for this miracle..."

Ala purred softly "Many many. Including those who helped us over the last 24 hours"

Torvil nodded. "Aye..." he kissed her ear and then smiled at Surion. "He's so sweet..." He brushed his son's cheek again.

Ala lifted him being mindful of his head and handed him to his father

Torvil took Surion into his arms and rocked him, he made sure the blanket was wrapped around him and he raided softly kissed onto his son's head. "Daddy loves you very much little Surion..." He purred loudly, rumbling as he started to hum the Dragon's Lullaby.

Surion cooed softly listening to the humming

Ala began to doze again

Torvil smiled. "Mommy's falling asleep..." he said to Surion, as he rocked and hummed, kissing the boy's forehead every once and awhile..."

Surion gurgled and blew bubbles

Torvil chuckled and bounced Surion lightly in his arms. "You're so silly lil Sur..." He nuzzled his son.

Surion's lil arms waved around happily

Torvil smiled and played with Surion gently with his hand, smiling the whole time.

Ala woke about an hour later and opened her eyes to the sounds of her mate playing with their son, further inspection saw the infant crinkling his nose up

Torvil lifted their son and looked at Ala. "What's he doing?" He asked softly.

Ala giggled "Pooping" she said as a familiar scent reached her nose

Torvil grunted and got up, moving out of the room with Surion to go change him.

Ala chuckled and got up following him

Torvil had Surion on the changing table in the nursery, and was quickly working on changing his diaper.

Ala purred and looked over his shoulder "you'll figure out the signs love" she said

Torvil chuckled softly. "Nose crinkle = poo..." he said, wiping Surion and putting a new Diaper on him.

Ala laughed "Something like that"

Torvil picked the now changed Surion up and help him. "Next he might spit up..." he chuckled.

"That he might... he'll do all those baby things a lot longer then the twins or Vina did" Ala nodded

Torvil smiled. "Can't wait..." he chuckled. "As strange as that sounds I'm enjoying this..." he cooed at Surion.

Ala giggled "So am I..." she looked down at their son with a wide smile

Torvil smiled and headed back towards the bedroom. "You want to hold him? I've had him for a good hour..." he didn't want to stop holding his son, but Ala was his mother...

"I had him all morning and part of the afternoon love, you need time to bond too" she said softly

Torvil smiled and nodded, holding Surion with a happy grin. "Yeah... Daddy time..." he looked down into his son's face.

Surion looked up at him and gurgled and blew bubbles waving his little arms around

Torvil laughed softly and waved at him, before sitting back down on the bed and sitting Surion on his knees. He unswaddled him and draped the blanket over his head, lifting it up. "I see you.."

Ala chuckled softly wandering to the kitchen for something to eat, she was still feeding two but in a different way

Surion blinked and cooed

Torvil smiled and put the blanket back down. "Ah! Where did Surion go?" He lifted the blanket. "Ah! There you are!"

Surion's eyes lit up and he cooed every time his father lifted the blanket

Torvil chuckled and started to give Surion little pecks on the forehead every time he lifted the blanket.

Surion gurgled happy gurgles putting his hands on his father's face every time it came near even if those hands were brought there by swinging arms

Ala stood in the doorway munching on a sandwich and watched

Torvil laughed softly and kissed at Surion's hands now. "Hehe... My sweet Lil Sur..." he nuzzled them with a big smile. "Daddy loves you..."

"You look to be enjoying yourself" Ala said softly

Torvil looked up. "Hey... Yeah I am..." He smirked and lifted up Surion's shirt, burbling his little belly lightly.

Ala chuckled "I'm glad" she came and sat beside him

Surion blew more bubbles with each razz

Torvil sat up slowly and brushed his son's face. "You're so adorable Surion..."

Surion cooed and yawned in reply

Torvil smiled and picked him up, humming softly again.

Ala smiled "You make a wonderful father love" she said softly "For both fast growing and slow growing children"

Torvil chuckled softly, and smiled at her, still humming as he rocked Surion.

Surion soon had his little thumb in his mouth and his blanket scrunched in his fist and his eyes were almost closed

Torvil smiled and kept up the Dragon's lullaby, signing it's wordless melody.

Ala was fighting sleep listening to the lullaby and Surion... was gone

Torvil smiled and kissed his son's forehead, slowly stopping as he moved to put him in his crib again.

"Somehow I think that blankie is going to be his fave" she murmured watching him

Torvil smiled. "I would hope..." he chuckled.

Ala nodded "I think you are enjoying his... and I don't know I'll be doing much work in the shop for a bit either..."

Torvil nodded. "But I have to..." he sighed loudly.

Ala sighed "Well least the house is only a few yards away"

Torvil sighed. "Not the same..." He frowned.

Ala nodded and looked at the bed

Torvil sat down. "I guess I could take a day or two off..."

Ala nodded "I think the keeper would understand"

Torvil nodded. "I'm sure... I think at most I can set up a few things on Auto, and erect the grave marker..."

Ala nodded "I can totally understand you wanting to spend time with your newborn son"

Torvil smiled. "Our... newborn son..." He corrected her.

Ala laughed "our son" she smiled and motioned him to her

Torvil moved do her and sat down.

Ala cuddled up next to him, something she hadn't done since before her trip to Kazeha

Torvil purred and pulled her close. "Mmmm... So nice not to be separated by Surion isn't it..." He smiled and brushed her hair.

"To some degree yes, can certainly cuddle closer" she purred

Torvil smiled and kissed her softly. "I love you..." He brushed her hair happily.

"I love you too, more then I could ever say" she purred back

Torvil smiled and kissed her forehead, humming the dragon's lullaby softly as he held her closer than he ha been able before.

Ala nuzzled close and yawned her mate's lullaby making her rather sleepy

Torvil hugged her close, wanting her to doze, so he kept humming.

Ala did just that fell asleep against him

Torvil cuddled with his sleeping wife happily, listening for Surion

Ala breathed softly against him

Torvil closed his eyes and napped.

The smells of a soiled diaper and the sounds of a mildly upset young man wafted towards the sleeping pair

Torvil jerked up almost instantly and started to scramble towards the crib.

Ala sleepily opened her eyes "huh?" then caught the scent "oh.." she looked towards the crib

Torvil got out of bed and was moving to get him again.

Ala sat up "Well least we know one of us wakes up easily" she mused

Torvil chuckled weakly. "I was only dozing..." he murmured, picking up Surion and rushing for the nursery to change him.

Ala chuckled and followed after him

He softly put Surion down and started changing him. "He's getting well fed..." He smiled.

Ala laughed "Seems to be" she went to the dresser and pulled out a crimson sleeper which she then adjusted to take into consideration her son's tail and brought it to Torvil "put this on him too"

Torvil finished changing his diaper and changed him into the Sleeper.

"One handsome little boy" she purred looking over her mate's shoulder

Torvil smiled. "You want to put him to bed?"

"He needs food first I think" she said picking him up and watching him root around

Torvil smiled. "Then lets get him fed..." He said with a soft chuckled.

Ala nodded "Love can you bring that rocker into the room for a while?" she motioned at the rocker in the corner

Torvil nodded and went to get it.

"Thanks" she said heading back to their room with Surion

Torvil put the rocker down in their room near Surion's crib.

Ala smiled and settled into it to feed her son

Torvil sat on their bed, watching.

Ala purred happily as she rocked

Torvil yawned and rubbed his eyes from dozing

"You ok love?" Ala said quietly watching him

Torvil nodded. "Just a little drowsy from dozing..."

"Surion seemed to wake you up in a hurry" she chuckled

Torvil chuckled softly. "He does that..."

Ala laughed "Yeah" she lifted her son to her shoulder to burp him

Torvil chuckled softly. "It's just the father in me..." He said softly.

"Somehow that doesn't surprise me, do we want to take Surion to meet his grandparents at any point?" Ala asked him

Torvil nodded quickly. "Mmmhm... Soon I would think..." He chuckled softly and brushed his hair. He yawned again but paid it no mind as he licked his lips.

Ala nodded as she lay her son in her arms and simply rocked as he held his blanket tight

Torvil smiled and watched his wife happily, she was so beautiful like that, holding their son after having fed him. She absolutely glowed, she was gorgeous, radiant... Too many things to use.

"As fun as it is to watch your child change from day to day I'm looking forward to the slow-downed version" she mused

Torvil nodded. "Aye... That's going to be a new thing for me, to wake up and see him still a pudgy little bundle of joy..." He chuckled softly and leaned forward.

Ala laughed "We've already done it once" she said thinking of the night before

Torvil chuckled. "That we have..." He shook his head. "But it still seems new to me..."

"I imagine it will for a while, seeing stages of his life last a longer period of time." she nodded as she spoke

Torvil nodded, and smiled. "Always a new day..." he purred, and shook his head. "A new day for something new..."

"Most definitely.... when do you want to make that trip? " She asked curiously

"Next week work for you?" He asked softly.

"Ok" she said with a nod getting up with her once again asleep son

Torvil purred loudly. "He's so cute when he's asleep..." He said with a bright smile.

"He's cute all the time" she said with a wink

Torvil chuckled. "True love... True..." He smiled and winked back. "But he's cuter asleep..

Ala chuckled "Yeah I suppose so" she gently lay him in the crib before joining her husband on the bed

Torvil smiled and stayed seated as she came to him. He popped his neck softly. "So much changes now..." He chuckled softly. "So much we have to do again...."

Ala nodded and sat beside him resting her head on his shoulder "Many of which I don't regret"

Torvil purred loudly. "Aye... Much of it is the fun part, the part that happened so fast the last time it was a blur. First word, first step..." he chuckled softly.

Ala nodded "First smile, first laugh" she cuddled closely

Torvil purred. "First tooth, first solid food..." He nuzzled her ear happily.

Ala laughed "Yeah, the others were born with teeth" she mused

Torvil chuckled. "Of course... They grew them while in the womb, they were going to have to eat solid food soon after they were born!"

Ala nodded "Yup, very soon, like only a few days tops" she chuckled and sighed happily

Torvil chuckled. "Yeah... I have a feeling it'll take a lot longer than that with Surion..." he purred and pulled her closer.

"A lot longer" she agreed with a nod nuzzling closer to him contently

Torvil purred and licked her cheek softly with a smile. "mmmm Love ya!" He said with a warm smile.

"Love you very much too" she said softly resting her hand on his leg turning to look up at him "I suppose we should get some sleep while we can..."

Torvil nodded and smiled, brushing her hair. "Yeah..." He pulled her beside him and closed his eyes.

Ala cuddled close and closed her eyes, she knew from her reading they were probably in for a number of long nights for feeding as she dozed off
