Ala sat on the bed of the room she had been occupying since late the night before, her son was laying on the bed between her beds watching her one hand holding his blanket in a fist the other had it's thumb stuffed in his mouth. She was working on undoing the beaded necklace so she could add the bead

Dia was slowly approaching the hospital. Faced with her usual distractions. She was carrying a gift for her friend's baby from her mother.

"Why the have to do this up so tight" she mumbled to herself her eyes fixated on the knot, course it didn't help she was still rather sore

Dia arrived and knocked on the decorated door.

"Come in Dia" Ala called out smiling softly her sense of smell having cleared itself up after Surion was born

Dia opened the door quietly and came in. "Good morning." She smiled and waved.

Ala looked up and smiled letting her hands drop with the necklace which was thoroughly frustrating her "Sleep well?" she asked

Dia nodded. "Yeah. Oh! my mom wanted me to give this to you." She handed Ala a large blue bag.

Ala chuckled "Thanks, she pulled it beside her smiling as she listened to her son's coos as she pulled it open

Dia smiled, "My mom made the tunic for you, and she said she made that teething ring thing, but I'm not sure how...or why. She just said it might come in handy." She mused.

Ala looked at it and smiled "Tell her thanks for me, as for the why, he will teethe, unlike my twins he didn't seem to be born with teeth" she chuckled moved the bag to the floor beside her

Dia chuckled. "So how are you doing today?"

"Sore and frustrated, this necklace is tied too tight" she laughed "but then my soreness probably doesn't help" she said picking the beads up again

Dia laughed, "here, let me try."

Ala smiled and reached to hand Dia the necklace "Can't add the bead if I cant get it open" she grinned

Dia chuckled and took the necklace and fidgeted with the knot a little and then pulled a throwing needle from her pouch and worked the knot the loose.

"Sweet, I don't have any of that stuff with me right now, usually would but I left that at home I didn't think I'd need it, didn't think I'd need much at all yesterday..." she said undoing the leather cord that held the single bead

Dia smiled, "Its habit for me to take this stuff everywhere." she mused.

Ala laughed "with all the clothing I have to alter, it's become habit for me too" she reached for and took the necklace back from Dia and threaded the bead onto it before tying it back closed. "Well that part's done.. I just gotta get the journal again so I can write in it... Kinda left the Umaki farm in a bit of a hurry" she said wryly

"We could always go retrieve it, I'm sure they'd love to see the baby."

"Aye that we could. If I had something that didn't fall to my ankles every time I stand up" she said with a laugh

Dia chuckled, "We could go shopping."

Ala nodded "Yes, Torvil will be looking for me here, think they'll mind if I go out for a little bit then return so he can find me and Surion?"

Dia shook her head, "Not a problem, I'll tell the receptionist as we leave."

Ala nodded and picked up Surion making sure he was wrapped with the blanket he was NOT letting go of then climbed off the bed holding up the waistband of her pants, she had pulled on her now-very-baggy shirt with the pants

Dia chuckled, "Sorry I don't have clips or pins." she stood up and headed for the door. "ready?"

Ala chuckled and nodded she draped the beads back over her neck and with a finger lopped through a belt loop and supporting her son she followed

Dia held the door open, chuckling. "Want me to carry him?" she asked meekly watching as Ala tried holding her pants up.

"Sure, least till I'm not holding up my pants at least" she said moving to hand Surion to Dia

Dia gently took Surion and resting him against her chest, with one hand on his back. "he's sure quiet." she whispered.

Ala nodded "A very peaceful little man, he's barely done more the whine at me"

Dia smiled, "My mom said I wouldn't stop fussing when I was a baby." She walked with Ala down the hall, holding the quiet baby, and grinning.

"Sounds you were just as much of a trouble maker then as now" she winked at her friend

Dia laughed, "yeah, that's it." she smirked. "The store is in the marketplace just across the road, but the chamber building." she told ala so she'd know where to turn once they exited the building.

Ala nodded "gotcha, I think this is the longest I've stayed in Kazeha" she said with a chuckle as they approached that exit

"Its not too bad a place, is it?" she gave ala a wink

Ala chuckled "No, not exactly the visit I expected, but I certainly don't think I can complain" she blinked as she stepped out into the sunlight and turned towards the clothing shop her eyes glancing at the other Kazehans around her

Dia walked alongside Ala as the headed to the Marketplace. "There's all kinds of stores, so you can choose anything you want, its my treat." she smiled.

Ala smiled softly "Thanks Dia" she looked at her son leaning against her "He certainly looks comfy"

Dia smiled, "I expected him to be all squirmy, but its nice, he's really calm."

Ala chuckled "Of course, he's in his god-mom's arms" she grinned

Dia blushed and smiled. The reached the entryway to the Marketplace and Dia noticed the whole place was buzzing that day. "wow, lots of people out today," she mused, watching everyone scurrying about purchasing from the various stands and shops.

"You aren't kidding, much as I'd like to stay here all day lets find something and keep going, I'm not sure how Surion is going to react to crowds" Ala said surveying the scene

Dia nodded, "yeah, that sounds like a great idea. So what kind of outfit would you like?" Dia asked as they walked in and started wading thru the crowd.

"Something comfortable and not restrictive" she said with a chuckled "I'm not really over picky"

Dia nodded, "lets go in there then." she said pointing to a small shop with a few items on mannequins in the window.

Ala nodded and headed for the shop Dia pointed to

The bell over the door jingled, as the 2 girls entered. This shop wasn't as busy as it was outside. Dia said hi to the shop owner and then turned to Ala, "okay, pick out anything you want."

Ala looked around the shop and didn't take long to pick a simple outfit that was comfortable and not restrictive and left the ability open to move her top so she could feed her son

Dia handed Surion back to his mom and paid for the items. "you sure are a cheap date." Dia joked as they left the store.

Ala laughed "Gee thanks what can I say, I'm not one for uber fanciness... ok where to now" she said cuddling her son against her the bag of old clothing hanging from her arm

"Let's head off to the Umaki farm. Marissa should be home, the kids are in school though." she said, leading Ala out of the busy marketplace.

"I wonder if Sean will be there" she said 'innocently' smirking as they walked down the road

Dia laughed. "I hope not...it was hard controlling myself in there as it was, but there was too much female scent to distract me." she chuckled.

"As well as me, and my tail" she grinned

Dia laughed. "thanks for that...by the way."

"Hey there was no way I was gonna let you walk away when I needed someone there" she laughed spying the farm in the not-to distant- distance

dia laughed. "I hope this goes away soon..." she sighed, "I'm giving too many guys unnecessary ego boosts."

Ala laughed "Soon as you can control it I'm sure it will, in the mean time you'll find that mate who is just right for you"

Dia sighed again, "yeah...the funny thing is ... I have the urges, but I like not being attached at the same time. But boys are just...grrr...I want one!" she held her fists up as she grr'ed and then laughed.

Ala giggled "I'm sure you do, perhaps you'll get one even if for a time" she stopped near the gate of the farm

Dia snickered. "yeah." She held the gate open for Ala.

"You sure can make me chuckle Dia" she said with a smile as she entered shifting the position of Surion in her arms as she walked

Dia blushed, "I'm glad I make you smile, although I don't do it on purpose." she smirked.

Ala chuckled "I know, I know but you still do"

When they reached the front door of the house, Dia knocked. Marissa hollered for them to come in.

"Well I guess that means we should go in" she said with a chuckle "Though I doubt she expects it'd be us"

Dia nodded, "yeah." And she pushed the door open to allow Ala to go in first.

Ala smiled and entered the familiar building "Hello?" she called out not sure where in the building Marissa may be"

Marissa came from the back, "Ala! How are you doing! IS that the new baby?" She was excited and rushed right over to look Surion over.

"Sore, but ok... Yes this it Surion" she said repositioning her son in her arms so Marissa could get a better look

"Aww! he's so precious." Marissa was cooing and gushing. "Ala forgot the journal yesterday." Dia mentioned watching Marissa.

Ala chuckled "Not that I forgot it on purpose, it kinda got left on the grass in that box as we rushed out"

Marissa giggled, "I understand dear. How did the birthing go?" She asked, still gushing over the new baby.

"Painfully... ask Dia I was sure I was going to break her hand they way it was going" she chuckled "But I'm glad I didn't since she helped with the delivery"

Marissa looked up to Dia, "you did? that's wonderful. What did you think."

Dia blushed, "it was strange. and LOOKED painful coming out."

Ala laughed "You try squeezing something the size of a watermelon through a 10 centimeter hole and you'll see how hard and painful it can be"

Dia laughed, "yeah, it looked you...blew a bubble down there at first." She ducked just case she was to get swatted.

Ala eyed her and swatted her side with her tail since her arms were currently full

"ow" dia overdramatically cringed and rubbed her arm.

Marissa laughed, "you two are something else. I'll go get the journal so you can finish your errands, I don't want to hold you up much more today." she smiled and started to stand.

"Marissa, I can get it if you tell me where it is, so you can visit with the baby more." Dia stood and smiled.

Ala chuckled "Perhaps Marissa would be interested in holding Surion for a few minutes too" she said to Dia

Marissa beamed, "I'd love to! And Dia, its on the back breezeway on the table in the box." She said as she reached for the baby. Dia nodded and headed towards the back of the house. She lightly sniffed the air and was heard mumbling. "oh no." as she disappeared in to the back.

Ala laughed hearing Dia's words she handed her son to Marissa

"He's beautiful, Ala, you must be so proud. Did his daddy make it in time?" Marissa said softly as she rocked a little holding the baby.

"Plenty of time actually, Surion wasn't born for several hours after he got there, like probably at least another 11 hours, it was a long night to say the least"

Marissa continued smiling, "I can sympathize. My kids all were over 14 hours, biggun's they were, too." she said, an exasperated look on her face. "Maybe I ask how you chose his name? I love hearing the stories behind names." Dia found the journal, and grabbed it but was distracted and wandering out to the back yard.

"Nothing really major really, Surion was a name I read in a book and I liked it. As for his middle name, Asmodeus, that's after a man who has helped my mate through more scrapes then I can count"

Marissa smiled, "That's lovely."

Dia reached the back porch and seen Sean outside mowing the grass. He was sweating so she was able to smell him a bit more than usual. She tried really hard to divert her attention, but just kept slowly getting closer to him.

Ala shook her head "I think I'd better go pull Dia back, then I need to head back to the hospital..." she left her son with Marissa to go fetch the ever-distracted Dia

Dia was standing outside right in front of Sean. He was talking to her, seeming oblivious to the dreamy look on her face as she grinned and kept inching herself closer to him.

Ala wandered up "less you want me to head back on my own, I'm heading out Dia, Torvil is due back soon" she whispered to her

Dia thought she heard Ala's voice, but her trance was a bit stronger because of being around Sean longer than she normally is around boys.

Ala shook her head and tapped her friends head "Kazeha to Dia, come in Dia"

Dia shook her head again, "Ala! I'm so sorry." She turned BRIGHT red. "sorry Sean, I need to get going." and she turned and practically ran into the house, weither Ala followed close behind or not, she didn't know.

"Sorry Sean I need to head out too, Torvil should be back soon" she gave a small wave and walked back into the house, her walk purposeful but sore

Dia was chuckling inside. "holy cow...I'm glad Ala came out there." she said quietly not hearing Ala come in.

"I'm glad I did too or I would have been walking back alone" she said entering the back door

Dia turned and was all shades of red once more. "Ala! I'm sorry."

Ala smiled "It's ok, but I know what you are getting for a gift next time I come" she giggled

Dia chuckled. "I can only guess...a leash?" she laughed and headed back to the front with Ala.

"No... a nose clip" she said with a grin as she headed back to where she had left Surion with Marissa

dia laughed, "I could use one, that's for sure."

"Very much so" she said as they reentered the front room

"Thank you Marissa, for your hospitality and for yesterday." Dia said, bowing, and heading towards the door.

Ala chuckled "Yes Thankyou a lot" she reached for her son half wondering about Dia's hurry to get out of there

Dia held the door open for Ala, her face was still red, but she tried to not look at Marissa or Ala.

Ala cuddled Surion and headed out the door peeking at Dia from the corner of her eye

Dia closed the door and walked with Ala a little ways. "I'm sorry, I needed to leave." she said, frowning a bit.

Ala nodded "I kinda figured that out, you ok?"

Dia nodded, "Ala...I'm not sure, but I think I was reading to jump Sean." she said, turning bright red again.

Ala chuckled softly "who knows maybe he's the one you are destined to be with..." she said continuing towards the town square and hospital

Dia chuckled. "I doubt it...he was just a single sweaty boy."

"One that I had to call you twice to distract you from" she said

Dia smiled, "I was left alone out there with him longer than I normally am with boys.

Ala shook her head "One day Dia, one day"

Dia smiled, "yeah...one day." she said softly. They headed back from the Umaki's out on to the road. "So Ala, when is Torvil meeting you?"

"He should be back sometime in the next half hour forty-five mins... Sent him on a couple errands" she smiled "One being clothing for my lil man"

Dia smiled, "then we should hurry back then. wouldn't want to worry him anymore than he was."

Ala chuckled "You sensed that too eh. I was just too occupied to do anything about it"

Dia nodded, "yeah, I was actually worried about him."

Ala chuckled "He's not a bad guy, he's saved Torvil more then I count"

Dia crooked her brow at Ala, "he has?"

Ala nodded "Yeah, mostly from himself when he's done stupid things like too many direct jumps, he also help Torvil focus to bring back his father"

Dia nodded, "wow." She wasn't sure what to say, as most of the info just went right over her head. "uhm...bring back...from where?"

"The ... other side.. in other words from the dead" Ala said holding Surion closer

"oh. wow...I didn't know...that could be done." Dia said quietly.

"If you practise necromancy it can" she said with a nod

"what is necromancy?" Dia asked, still looking ahead as she walked with Ala.

"Necromancy is the seeking of the spirits of the dead, I don't really know a whole lot more, I've never studied it, can't say I really know a whole lot about it" she admitted

Dia nodded. "well, that's more than I knew about it." she chuckled.

Ala laughed and nodded

"how are Selene and Torvin doing? I still haven't seen them since I've been back." Dia asked.

"Uhm it's been a while since I last saw them I don't really know" she admitted

"Wrapped up in their own lives now, I see." she mused. "I guess that happens sometimes."

Ala nodded "Yeah, I'm gonna try to see them before I leave though"

Dia smiled, "well, tell em they can come see me anytime, I'm usually around."

Ala nodded "I shall try n remember"

The hospital was coming up close. Dia turned to watch Surion in his mom's arms. "he really is cute." she sighed a happy sigh.

Ala looked down at her son now sleeping "Adorable, and I think I'll get to experience much more of it then I did with the twins"

"That's always a blessing." Dia smiled. "you'll have to bring him here often. I'm not really allowed out of the village now." she sighed.

Ala glanced at her friend "What happened to cause that?"

Dia cleared her throat a bit. "the Elders...when they reviewed my account of what happened. They think its best for my protection and they are worried that my grandfather knows about me know."

Ala frowned and nodded "I see.... well I guess it's for the best then" she said knowing she'd miss her friend around the shop

"They said as long as I have permission and escorts, they might be able to let me...but its on a case by case basis." she sighed. "I don't like having restrictions like this.' she said quietly.

Ala nodded "That's gotta be tough" she said knowing her friend had a very free spirit

Dia nodded. "it is.. I can't return to get my egg...or finish my quest." she sighed, "I'm not sure when I can. I guess I have to prove that I won't get snatched again. I don't know."

"Estra has your egg.... I can bring it here if you want... Telrunya isn't overly far from the shop" she looked over at Dia

"If Estra is caring for it, it might be better off being with its own kind." she said softly.

Ala looked at her... "I got the impression your egg is unlike any Estra has ever seen before, not sure what 'kind' it is"

Dia looked at Ala curiously, "Really? I thought it was just like any other egg from that island."

Ala shook her head "It's wings are different, she's only seen one other egg like it" she told her friend

"Estra's an elder, right? and SHE has only ever seen 2? wow" Dia was intrigued.

Ala nodded "Yeah it wasn't something she expected to see, and she still muses over it"

Dia chuckled, "I'm glad estra likes it."

Ala chuckled "Well what can you expect it's the mother in her"

Dia smiled, "I'll have to find a way to thank her."

"I'd bring her here.. but I don't think I could since she wouldn't see it" Ala mused

Dia laughed, "that's true...plus, doesn't she care for a lot of young ones?"

"Not really, all her's are adults now, only young one she's caring for is your egg" Ala said

Dia chuckled. "oh. I got the impression she was. sorry." she said meekly.

Ala chuckled "She's a grandmother about 5 times over"

Dia laughed. "she looked so young."

Ala nodded "She does, though I think Toga looks younger then she does"

"Who's Toga?"

"Another Pae Elder. She's the elder who controls Estra's opposite... fire" Ala said seeing the hospital in the distance

Dia nodded, "ok. I see. Well, maybe I can meet her someday. Soon, if I have anything to do with it." she chuckled.

Ala chuckled "I hope you do, there's four elders right now and those are two of them"

"Are the Elders the same as they are here?"

"Not entirely sure, they are set as Elders by the guardians and given the power over a different element. Estra has water, Toga has Fire, Ceri has healing and Sol has the Sun"

"Oh, they aren't the governing body of the island tho?"

"Not really, I dont think there is a specific governing body, they more protect the island and the inhabitants" she said musing over it

"That sounds neat. Its a great place to go. I liked it there." Dia smiled.

Ala nodded "I liked it there too, mind you it's also where I met my mate"

"That's where you met him? how romantic."

Ala chuckled "He's the guardian of Estra's Husband"

"oh wow, thats neat." Dia smiled.

Ala nodded "Yeah, I think so..." she sighed softly and purred "Now he's my mate, my husband and the father of my children"

Dia smiled. "I'm glad you're happy, Ala."

Ala looked over at her "I hope you are happy about most things in your life too Dia"

"For the most part...a few things still missing, but I'm young still." she chuckled.

"Aye you are, you've got a lot of years yet, so do I...." she said with a nod

Dia smiled. They reached the hospital, and Dia held the door open for Ala.

Ala wandered through the doors "You know... now that I think about it it was kinda humorous to see that many women scramble"

Dia laughed, "yeah, it was."

"I didn't realize I said it loud enough... but at the same time I guess it was a good thing they did hear me" she mused

Dia smiled, "you'll be the talk of all their get-togethers, they'll prolly invite you to them now too."

Ala laughed "Who knows Dia, who knows... Lets just hope the next one doesn't end in a mad dash"

Dia let out a healthy laugh. "no doubt!"

"Not that I intend to get pregnant again any time soon" she smirked

Dia chuckled. "can you, tho...if you wanted to?"

Ala shrugged "I don't know, When I had the twins I was 100% Kerrsalian... not I'm not more then 20% so I don't know how it will effect..." she admitted

Dia nodded. "will there be a point when you aren't Kerrsal at all?"

"I doubt it, but I can't tell, I don't know what my body will or will not do" she said

"That must be tough...to not know...but I guess I can sympathize...even just a little."

"You never know if something will change for you so yeah I believe you can sympathize" Ala nodded

Dia smiled. "I'm hoping nothing else changes." she chuckled.

Ala smiled softly "I believe you, in a way same here"

Dia smiled and looked around in the hospital as they entered, "so when do you suppose Torvil will be here?"

Ala looked around for the time "Soon I imagine" she said

Dia smiled, "well, we can just go up to your room and talk till he comes, right?"

"Or till you ahve to head out whichever comes first' she said heading for the ramp they came down using

"I left all day clear." she chuckled.

Ala smiled "I would imagine, after all not everyday you become a god-mom"

Dia smiled. "thank you again...for that honor."

"You deserve it, not only are you my best friend, but you helped me when I needed it most" she said softly

Dia smiled and leaned over to give Ala a hug.

Ala smiled letting her friend give her and her son a hug

Dia smiled, "can I hold him again?"

Ala nodded and passed Surion to Dia as they approached the room

Dia gently took Surion and cradled him in her arms. "not a single fuss the whole time." she whispered.

Ala chuckled "No not really" she looked over her friends shoulder watching with an inward laugh as her son crinkled his lil nose "But there might be soon"

Dia looked at Surion..."do I smell...?"

Ala laughed "Poop" she said with a nod

Dia crinkled her face up. "uhm...should I put him a bathtub?"

Ala shook her head "Nope just gotta get some wipes and a diaper" she said entering the room and searching for just that

Dia laid him on the bed slowly and backed away. "for being a little guy, he sure packs a punch."

Ala laughed "Yeah well that's what babies are about I guess" she said returning with what she needed and getting down to work

Dia stuck her tongue out while making an 'ew' face. "I guess it comes with the territory." she chuckled.

Ala laughed "Yes it does" she said disposing of the soiled diaper and picking up her now-clean son and his blanket and turned back to Dia "He's safe now" she giggled

Dia held her arms out again, "are you sure?" she chuckled

Ala laughed and nodded "Yup"

Dia held Surion again, laid him on her chest and whispered in his ear. "only poop on mommy and daddy, k?"

Ala giggled "I have a feeling mommy and daddy will get their share"

Dia laughed. Surion was wide awake, so she bounced a little with him and swirled around. "I think he likes to dance." she smiled.

Surion watched her and with no warning, Dia soon had spit-up on her

Ala burst into laughter, she couldn't help it

Dia's face turned green. "uhm...Ala ..."

Ala curbed her laughter and took her son from Dia "you've been christened"

Dia just stood there dripping spit-up down her shirt. "uhm ... "

Ala looked around and grabbed a cloth and passed it to Dia

Dia wiped the uck off of her. "uhm.. I need to wash my shirt, I will be right back." and she went to the ensuite bathroom, removed her shirt and washed it. Several minutes later, she emerges wearing a very wet top.

Ala chuckled and put her son down in the bassinette and walked over her eyes shifted green as she did and started helping Dia by pushing the water from the fibers

Dia watched with amazements. "holy cow! you can dry stuff with water?"

Ala shook her head "No but I can control it and I'm pushing it out" she motioned at the puddle of water on the floor "I do it often with my hair"

Dia looked, "that's so cool." she smiled.

"Saves being wet all day doesn't it?" she laughed

"yeah." Dia chuckled. "I'm going to let you hold Surion I think...or start bringing change of clothes with me." she mused

Ala laughed "Or don't bounce him"

Dia smiled meekly. "yeah..."

Ala smiled "You'll get used to it eventually" she said leaving the mostly dry Dia her eyes returning to blue as she returned to pick up her son and take a seat in the rocker

Dia went and sat on the bed across from Ala. "I wonder if I'd make a good mom." she said, merely thinking out loud.

"I think you would, once you got used to poopy diapers and spit up" she grinned, Surion fed from her as she slowly rocked

Dia watched Ala feed Surion. "I'm sorry if I stare...its an amazing thing to me...life...babies." she smiled.

Ala nodded "Aye I only got a day of it from the twins... it feels kinda neat I'm glad to experience the bonding it brings for a longer period of time"

Dia smiled. "that's cool. I wonder what Selene and Torvin think of having a baby brother." she said quietly.

"somehow I think they'll like it, but may be surprised they only have one new sibling" Ala mused

Dia chuckled. "oh yeah, you guys are prone to more, I forgot about that."

"Prone to more if ht mother isn't an undead" she said chuckling

Dia laughed, "but what are those chances?"

Ala looked at her "Vina comes from the womb of an undead... her mother was a pure vampire"

Dia blushed, embarrassed, "I meant of you becoming undead."

Ala laughed "Lil to none" she said lifting Surion from her breast to burp

Dia smiled. "so uhm...Ala ... can I ask about that one guy again?"

"As? Ok I'm not sure how much I can really tell you I barely know him" she said

Dia smiled, "that's okay.. I was just curious is all. why does he smell different than other boys?"

"When you spend your days around dead people I wouldn't be shocked if you did smell different... I don't really know specifics" Ala smiled softly

Dia chuckled. "He smells like, 10 boys in one...its weird."

Ala laughed "That's gotta be a weird sensation"

Dia nodded fast. "yeah it was...otherwise I wouldn't have made such an issue for nose plugs." she blushed a little.

Ala chuckled "I hope I didn't put your legs to sleep leaning on them"

Dia shook her head. "no, I'm grateful you did that." she chuckled.

Ala chuckled "Why is that"

Dia blushed. "even with the nose plugs...I still could smell him."

Ala burst out in giggles "Dia Dia Dia, hopefully that doesn't drive you too crazy for too long"

Dia laughed. "I'm 'fraid it will. But I will eventually figure something out."

Ala shook her head "Maybe you need something that will dull your sense of smell"

Dia sighed, "mom said I can't, its just developing, I might stunt it ... or cause damage to it...I dunno...she says to leave it alone." she frowned a bit.

Ala made a face "Well that's no good"

"I think Mom and Iyashu are co-conspiriting against me right now." she grumbled light-heartedly.

Ala chuckled "Seems like it doesn't it" Ala shook her head

Dia nodded, and chuckled, "you'd think...but they just want me to come out of my shell...because Kazeha is changing."

"Come out of your shell is one thing but to go nuts is another" Ala mused

"no kidding." she laughed, "I tried to tell them...but nooooo."

Ala shook her head "I can only imagine, but then I spent the last few weeks with basically no sense of smell less the item was right up against my nose..."

Dia chuckled, "sometimes, I think it'd be worth it. Who knows who I'm going to end up pouncing." she laughed.

Ala laughed "I think you almost pounced Sean today"

Dia laughed, "yeah." she turned a bit red. "he's hot and all...but he's like, I dunno, too much like a brother."

Dia looked all shifty-like and whispered, "know what Kito does to keep me from jumping him?"

"Eat donuts?" she said with a sly grin "Or perhaps that lavender powder of his"

Dia laughed and put her finger on her nose.

Ala quirked a brow "poke your nose?"

Dia shook her head, "no silly, I mean, you got it on the nose, he uses that lavender powder to try to smell like a woman."

Ala burst out laughing, she laughed hard enough that she woke her son from his light sleep and he looked around with a startled expression

Dia laughed with her friend. She so enjoyed Ala's company.

"Well whatever works I guess" she said thinking of how he used it against her mom's dogs too

"yeah...he thinks that powder is some kind of cure-all." she chuckled.

Ala chuckled "Well it works on you at lest if not the dogs"

Dia nodded. "yeah, he smells like his mom now."

Ala chuckled "A real 'turnon' I'm sure" she winked

Dia laughed, "oh let me tell you..."

Ala laughed and got up bringing her son to the bassinette and putting his almost asleep form into it with his blanket

Dia smiled, "He's adorable, Ala. I don't know if I can say enough things to say how adorable. "

Ala chuckled "He's perfect, I couldn't have asked for more..." she purred softly

Dia nodded. "aye! he is." she said, as she walked over to look at him in the bassinette.

Surion sucked softly on his thumb clutching his blanket tightly

Dia smiled, "that's a beautiful blanket. Did you make it?"

Ala shook her head "No it was a gift" she fingered softly the two dragons on he fabric "t's very soft though, and comforting..."

Dia reached in, "wow, it is soft. Who gave it to you?"

"Visha..." she said she knew it would be a hard thing to believe and hoped she didn't have to explain it

Dia smiled, "who's Visha?"

"Someone distantly related to Torvil's family" she said with a small smile

"That's sweet of her....it is a her, right?" Dia smiled sheepishly.

Ala chuckled "Yes.. it's a her"

Dia smiled. "what is the pattern on it, it looks kind of like...dragons."

"Two dragons, necks and tails intertwined, claws holding each other's paw almost kinda like the .." she paused to think "I think you guys call it snake hand thingy??... he black dragon is on a field of red and the red is on a field of black" she finished

Dia grinned. "Is it symbolic?"

Ala laughed "It's two dragons in the mating position" she blushed lightly

Dia crooked her head a bit. "lovely." she teased. "do you and Torvil ever look like those kind of dragons?"

"Erm ... no... We look like normal people.. for the most part..." she said turning a shade brighter red

Dia laughed and poked Ala in the shoulder, "silly, I didn't mean when you two made love, I meant...ever, you are dragon, right? But you look nothing like my dragons, which is why I asked."

"Full to me is this plus my wings... I think full to Torvil is what he is plus wings.. I know his mother can change to a complete dragon... minus wings" Ala said

Dia nodded. "I wonder if my dragons can look human." she said thinking out loud.

Ala shrugged "I dunno, I suppose anything could be possible" she mused

Dia chuckled, "yeah, I'll just have to ask next time."

Ala chuckled "Yea Guess you will"

Dia smiled and moved to sit on the bed again. "so...what did you think of the tunic my mom made for you?"

"It's nice" Ala said lifting the bag up from the floor "She's a pretty crafty person"

Dia smiled, "I picked the fabrics for it. I thought you would the colors. She's teaching me to sew in my spare time...which is abundant these days."

Ala nodded "I suppose it would be if you can't leave the village... I hope that changes" she nodded

Dia nodded. "Yeah...I will sneak out if I have to...now that I have...alternate transportation" she chuckled.

Ala chuckled "Once you get past your fears... Oh that reminds me did you locate Sabi?"

Dia frowned, "I haven't. Daishu said he seen her a few days after the Easter egg thing...but not since."

Ala frowned "Perhaps I should send the alphas out looking for her... it's not good to have a missing Balan"

Dia felt really bad. "I know. I feel terrible. Kito and Nim said she was going to look for me. I told her to only go to the shop and here...but..."

Ala frowned softly and walked over to her friend "I'll send Star and Shade after her, they should be able to find her with all hopes" she gave Dia a hug

"I want to look for her, but the Elder's say she's independent enough that she will return on her own." She sniffed, about to cry.

"She'll be ok Dia, I know she's a strong young lady... " she wrapped her arms around her friend to comfort

"Thank you, Ala. I do miss her so much. Its been month's since I've seen her.." Dia sobbed into Ala's shoulder.

Ala noded making a mental note to send the two Balan out as soon as she could as she hugged Dia close

"thank you." she said again, lifting her head from Ala's shoulder. "I'm sorry I took such bad care of her."

"You did no such thing... it's not your fault you got swiped , and to prove you didn't just think about it... Sabi cares enough about you to go looking for you alone" Ala said

dia wiped a tear. "thank you ala."

Ala smiled softly "You are welcome, for it's true" she said wiping another tear from her friend's face

Dia smiled and noticed the clock on the wall. "is Torvil late?"

Ala shrugged "Dunno"

Dia smiled, "well Ala, unless you want to join me, I think its time I head out for dinner. You'll have to come see me soon, and show my mom Surion."

Ala smiled softly "I appreciate your visit, and company but I think Torvil would get worried if I'm not here when he arrives" she said wishing she could

dia nodded, "that's fine, you always have an open rain check for a visit to my house." she hugged ala tight once more and stood up.

Ala chuckled "Thanks D I appreciate it" she returned the hug

Dia want and gave Surion a little kiss on his cheek and went to the door. "Tell Torvil hi for me, and I hope to see you again soon." she waved and headed out the door.

"You bet enjoy your dinner Dia" she said and relaxed onto the bed to wait for her mate

Dia made her way down to the receptionist and waved good by to her too, and headed home, holding her nose closed the whole way.
