Ala stretched and woke and looked around recalling where she was

Torvil yawned and he took took a minute to remember where they were. His first instinct was to look for Surion.

Surion was still asleep on the pallet as Ala climbed out to get dressed into the clothing she had brought

Torvil smiled and brushed his son's face softly, not wanting to leave his side after the past few days worth of events.

Ala wandered outside once dressed only to run into Torvil's little messenger animal carrying a small roll of parchment which she took from it

Torvil picked up Surion and headed over to where Ala was outside. "Hey love... What's going on..." He'd smelled the little beastie from where he'd been.

"I think... I need to sit down" Ala said turning and heading back inside after reading the parchment, she took the parchment with her

Torvil followed her. "Can I read it?" He asked softly. Reaching for it.

Ala nodded and reached over her shoulder passing it to him

Torvil took it and started to read. He read it through... Twice.

The letter on the parchment was from Selene she was letting her parents know that they now had two great grandsons, by the names of Lee and Ty. The letter went on to state when they were born and that they were the son's of Aidan and Nimthirial who were also engaged to be wed

Torvil started to chuckle, then slowly, very slowly that chuckle grew, it kept growing till it became a full blown riotous laugh. He eventually stopped wiping his eyes. He chuckled still but weakly. "About damn time..."

Ala eyed her mate "I'm too bloody young to be a great grandmother!"

Torvil chuckled. "No love... You're not... My mother is thirty... And she has almost ten generations of grandchildren..." Torvil wiped and eye again and smiled at Ala. "Not to mention darling, that you look absolutely stunning."

"She's the same age as me basically... Nim... She's Dia's teammate. both the boys were hitting on her last time I was there" Ala said

"Well that means the Korvil is looking for a mate still..." he said softly. "I wish him the best of luck... Here... Gimme a sec and I'll write a letter back sending congrats and an invitation to Korvil to spend some time with us... I'm sure he needs some time away... I would..."

"How would he get here love, he has no wings and he doesn't know where the cliffs are" Ala asked

Torvil chuckled and shook his head. "We'll have him visit our house... Vina and the kids are okay, and it takes a bit of time for this little guy to travel..." He smiled softly. "Besides, I'll give him directions..."

Ala nodded and sighed leaning back against the couch and closing her eyes

Torvil quickly scribbled all of that down, and handed them off to the beast, before sending it on its way. He put Surion in Ala's lap and sat next to her. "Do I need to get Surion a babysitter to cheer you up?"

"No, I just need to let it settle in" Ala said with a chuckle looking down at her own son

Torvil smiled and nuzzled her. "Okay..." He smiled. "And remember, you're dealing with a quickly growing people..." he said softly. "So yeah... My mom's a 10 times generational grandmother..."

Ala chuckled quick for the most part at least

Torvil nodded and brushed Surion's head. "He's driving people nuts... and that healer from last night must be about ready to jump off the top of the cliffs..."

"Little man is?" she asked looking down at her son who she had begun to feed

Torvil chuckled. "Well yeah... words got around that Surion's still an infant..." He chuckled. "I'll not be surprised if people start coming to oogle the spectacle.

Ala laughed "Maybe we should save them the trip and just go for a walk"

Torvil laughed softly and got up. "Alright love... Lets go!" He chuckled and looked down at the feeding Surion... "Er uh... or wait..."

Ala laughed "Lemme get him changed first" she said and got up once she was done heading for the bag of stuff she had brought

Torvil nodded and smiled. "Okay..." He said softly and with a grin. "Oh! We need to visit Vina and get the names of the twins..."

"Yes that can be our final destination of our walk" she said with a grin

Torvil smiled. "And then we can head home this eve... I told the letter about three days from receivable, and we need to set up the house..."

Ala nodded changing her sons bottoms and clothing

Torvil smiled and leaned on the wall with a light smile.

Ala finished and picked her son up setting him on her hip to carry hauling his blanket along with

Torvil smiled and moved over to her, giving both a kiss on the head, Ala's on her lips, and Surion's on his head.

Ala purred softly

Surion giggled and latched onto his mother's hair playing and chewing with it

Torvil chuckled and started to walk with them outside. He gave Ala another kiss and nuzzled Surion as he played.

Ala smiled wandering along with Torvil in no particular hurry

Torvil smiled, happy to be back 'home' This place was always home to him, that would never change... Even with all the trauma behind it...

"I think this is the least planned out trip here we've ever made" she mused

Torvil chuckled. "Yeah..." He said softly, walking with her. Soon however, people were starting to follow without following.

Ala shifted the weight of her son so that she was holding him in front of her

Torvil walked with her looking around. He leaned over and whispered softly in her ear. "We've got a crowd..."

"I smell that" she replied in a whisper

Torvil nodded and followed her.

A few of the females from before flanked them. "We apologize for the reaction of our peers..." They looked down at Ala without looking. "But they want to see your child... We know he's a growing boy, and he's going at your pace, but they do not..."

"It's ok, I understand" ala said with a chuckle

The females smiled softly and moved ahead. "Meet you at the temple..." They said as they passed.

Ala smiled and kept walking

Torvil smiled and leaned over, kissing her cheek then Surion's head. He smiled and followed the females towards the temple.

"I wonder what's happening at the temple" Ala mused

Torvil shrugged. "I don't know... I've not been around..." Then he blinked. "Oh Visha..." He smacked his forehead.

Ala quirked a brow "What?"

"In six months its Visha's birthday.... We celebrate her descent to earth today..."

"Ah! Well that makes sense then" she replied

Torvil nodded and chuckled. "Wonder what they'll do this year... It tends to change... Not that I got to see many of them... They're talked about events tho..."

"Things will probably be different with the new priest too" Ala remarked

Torvil nodded and neared the temple mouth.... Which seemed... lower...

Ala smiled at her son leaning to kiss him as they headed for the entrance

Torvil smiled and entered, and then froze, staring at the huge gaping hole in the middle of the temple floor... That is... a hole filled with water that bubbled up.

Ala stopped beside him "Oh my...."

Torvil tilted his head. The priest approached. "Happened not all that long enough... There was a massive earthquake... Bless Visha no-one was killed, but a few people were injured..."

"Oh geez" Ala whispered and looked towards her mate

Torvil frowned. "Oh my..." He grinned weakly. "Whoops..."

"Repairs?" Ala whispered

Torvil shook his head. "Probably won't need them..." The Priest chuckled. "All the damage that disrupts us has been set to rights..."

Ala nodded

The Priest smiled. "Come... Sit in the pool... Tis the day Visha descended... We have blessed these waters in her name... Rest, relax, and be at one with the others here..." He chuckled softly. "And most of all, have fun..."

Ala nodded and walked towards the pool

Torvil followed and waited for her to get in it first with Surion, The females that had come before them now neared it as well.

Ala moved into the water her eyes shifting as she did

Torvil smiled and joined her, grinning and nuzzling her as the females sat down near them.

Ala purred softly and turned her son to sit in her lap facing out

Torvil smiled and watched as the other females started to dote on the small boy.

Surion reached out curiously to the tall females that looked at him "Aaahhhhppppttt"

They all giggled and smiled. "Ohhh! He's so cute!" one squealed softly.

Surion bounced his little tail moving around him happily as he leaned towards the nearest female

She smiled. "Can I hold him?" She asked softly, looking to Ala.

Ala nodded "Sure" she replied and lifted her Son out of her lap towards the female

She smiled and took him. "So much smaller than my others... but sooo cute!" She tickled his nose.

Surion giggled and opened his mouth going after her finger

She smiled softly and let him get it with a happy grin. "Isn't he just the sweetest thing?"

Surion chewed on her finger with his sharp little few teeth

Ala chuckled and floated in the water

The female giggled. "That tickles..." She smiled softly. "He's very sweet..."

Torvil grinned.

Ala nodded "Thanks, I love him"

Surion babbled as he chewed her finger piercing the skin a few times

The female giggled and brushed his head. "He's a feisty one..." She smiled. "Who wants him next..." Four pairs of hands shot up.

Torvil laughed.

Ala laughed as well and just floated

Surion sucked her finger not realizing he was about to be passed off

The female slowly pulled the finger out of Surion's mouth and passed him to the nearest.

Surion squawked as he HAD been going after the few drops of blood his sharp little teeth had drawn

The female frowned and took him back and put the finger back in his mouth. "What do you want? Are you hungry?"

Surion's little hands latched onto her wrist as he sucked again on her finger

The female giggled."Oh yeah.... He drinks blood too..." Torvil vocalized.

Ala chuckled as her son looked kinda cute sucking on the lady's finger

Torvil smirked and the female nodded slowly."Are you sure you don't want your mate to feed him though?"Torvil shook his head. "Nah, he looks happy where he is..."

"He's ok he had a main feed before we left the cave" Ala said watching her son

The female nodded. "Okay little one... Can I hand you off now? The other ladies would like a turn..."

Surion pulled her finger out of his mouth where he had been sucking a little obvious "Aaahhpppfftt"

She smiled and tired to hand him off to the next in line, who had a pout on her face from not getting him the first time.

Surion looked towards where he was being moved too smiling cutely

The other female smiled and took him. "Hi there..." She said softly, bouncing him in her arms a little.

Surion reached up grabbing a hold of her clothing and pulling to stand so he could bounce better

She giggled and smiled watching the child bounce on her. "He's so adorable!"

Ala chuckled softly

Surion squealed happily and blew bubbles as he bounced in his little cliffy outfit

The women giggled and the one holding him smiled happily. "I wish mine stayed this big for this long...""We all do sister... We all do..." another said.

Surion reached baby-slapping her cheeks happily

She laughed and smiled. "Okay little one... Next turn... Is with... you!" She smiled handing him off to the next in line.

"Aahhh?" Surion looked around not used to being passed off his little tail moving around behind him

The women giggled and the next took him, giving his forehead a soft peck. "So cute!"Torvil chuckled. "Well Surion will have no trouble with the ladies..."

Ala laughed "No, I doubt he will"

"drdrdrdrdr" Surion said happily holding the end of his tail

The lady holding him giggled and pushed his nose. "Yes... You are a dragon... A very cute one at that..." She smiled.

Surion squealed happily letting go of his tail and swinging his arms happily

She laughed and smiled at him, enjoying his antics and presence as the others watched happily.

Surion reached up towards her face

She smiled and let him, thinking it really cute that he wanted to explore so.

When it was in his reach Surion grabby handed her nose playing with it

She giggled, which sounded weird cause of his playing with her nose.

Surion stared at her for a moment then leaned forward open mouthed baby-kissing her chin with his very drooly lips

She giggled more and stroked his head. "Awwww... That's very sweet... But I'm married..." She giggled and handed him off to the last in line.

Ala laughed at her reaction

Surion kicked his little legs as he was passed

The next took him and smiled. "Well hello there..." She smiled. "Now what fun antics are you going to do with me?"

Surion stared at her after a couple minutes his nose started scrunching up

She sniffed. "Well now... Not exactly what I had in mind..." She giggled, handing him back to Ala.

Ala reached taking Surion and turning to Torvil "your turn" she said handing him off

Torvil chuckled and got up, heading for the bag he'd brought with them and to find a secluded area to change him.

Ala relaxed "Sorry bout that, can't control when he decides to do that" she said

They ladies giggled. "Its okay sister... We know how it is..." They smiled at her. "How are you though? We have not seen you in awhile..."

"Good overall, learning new things about myself, staying busy with Surion... all that fun stuff" she replied

They nodded. "Better than us... Most of us have had another clutch and seen them grow..." They sighed. "We wish we had some that stayed young like that..."

"I didn't exactly expect him to be a slow grower myself, not after the twins... but each does what their bodies tell them too I suppose" Ala nodded

They nodded and smiled. "You got lucky... and is it true that Elder Vina had her clutch?" They all leaned forwards.

Ala nodded "Yes, they were born last night" she told them

They clapped their hands and smiled. "Oh what glorious news!" One declared, just as Torvil was coming back with a changed Surion.

"A little boy and a little girl, I'm not sure what they are named though, she passed out and we left them to rest after they were born" Ala smiled

They smiled. "Then you should go visit them and find out, then come tell us!"
They giggled. "We are not family, it would be rude for us to approach them..."
Another touched her arm. "Not to mention invasive..."

Ala chuckled "We were headed there then detoured to come here" she looked around the temple biting her lip a little seeing what the collapse of the under caves had done to it

It was lower in the ground for one, some of the walls were cracked. The statue of Visha was unharmed, but the floor was cracked in places, uneven, all of that, and the bubbling pool in the middle, made up the once even temple.

Ala sighed "didn't realize it would cause this" she mumbled very very quietly under her breath

Torvil touched her shoulder softly, giving her Surion. "Neither did I..." he mouthed.

"What are the two of you whispering about, if you mind us asking?" One of the ladies asked.

Ala took her son "The damage here" Ala said and nuzzled her son

"Oh? There was an earthquake a few nights ago... I was rather rough... We still don't know what caused it...."

"We did..." Torvil said softly.

Ala sighed "We collapsed a cave in the undercaves when were were retrieving Joman, our daughter's mate..."

"Oh!" A few said... Then it clicked with one. "Wait! Did you... " She looked down.

"Yes..." Torvil said flatly.

"We collapsed a cave, if they survived or not depends on how their race survives down there" Ala said

Torvil's face faltered. "Love... I don't know how much of the cave collapsed... We could very well have pulled the entire thing down..." He said softly. "The minute I started to move rock the whole thing came down around my ears... I wasn't able to control the collapse... We very well could have killed them all... I won't know for sure unless I go check..."

"I'm aware of that love, and I don't want you back down there, we spent enough time down there as it was" she told him flatly

Torvil nodded softly and leaned towards her, putting his head on her shoulder.

Ala sighed softly and looked near the middle of the pool which was empty at that time. she placed her hand on the water her eyes had been green since she'd entered the water. within a moment there was a small gurgling sound then the sound of spraying water as she created a small fountain

Torvil smiled. "Good job love..."

All the ladies smiled and stared in awe. "Did you do that?"

Ala chuckled "Yeah I did" she said softly lifting her hand out of the water and putting it in her son's lap

Torvil smiled and the women waded closer to check out the fountain.

"I don't think I'll ever do anything that wont shock these people" she said softly to her mate as her son splashed his hands i the water playfully

Torvil chuckled. "You're a surprise love... And my people love them... most of the time..." He kissed her cheek.

Ala smiled "Glad they like them" she watched the ladies

Torvil chuckled.

The ladies returned a little later with a smile. "Well we shouldn't keep you, we know you have a busy day ahead... Visiting Elder Vina and alll..."

"Yeah then we're heading home later this evening." she said with a smile before standing up

They smiled. "Well It was good seeing you... Please don't be strangers... Visit often!" They smiled and floated in the water.

Torvil stood and went to get the stuff.

Ala smiled "We try not to" she said then headed out of the pool pushing the water out of hers and her son's clothing as she went"

Torvil chuckled and walked beside her, sloshing as he moved. "That was fun..." He said softly.

"I feel like we should be fixing the temple" she said quietly as they left

Torvil nodded slowly, walking beside her. "I know love... I know..." He said softly. "I don't think though... that they want it fixed..."

Ala nodded and sighed

Torvil hugged her close, pushing his wet body against her down dry clothes. "We did what we have to do..."

Ala nodded "Well lets go see our daughter and grandkids shall we?"

Torvil smiled. "Sure..." he said softly. Walking with her towards the home of Vina

Ala was silent as they walked... at least till they got to Vina's cave

Torvil entered slowly. "Vina?"Something large and grey flew past his face. "WHAT THE HELL!" He fell on his rear to the sound of a giggle.

Ala raised a brow looking towards the culprit and giggle

The girl child of Vina rested on her haunches on the higher part of the cliff face, looking down with a smile. She giggled again.

"Alatariel! You get your butt down from there right now!" Vina called walking outside, a small winged boy holding onto her robe his thumb in his mouth.

Ala spun towards her daughter eyes wide hearing her voice and words

Vina looked at Ala. "Oops... I meant that one..." She giggled, pointing at the little girl who was still giggling and pointing at Torvil.

Ala stared at her blinking

Surion giggled and reached towards Vina "Vvvvvvvvvvvvvvvveeee"

Vina giggled. "Hey there Surion!" She came over and took him from his mother. She turned to the girl on the cliff face. "Alatariel Vixos Daggerdancer you get your butt down here right this instant or I'm coming up there to get you..."The little boy just kept on sucking his thumb, but his free hand now reached towards Surion.

Surion looked down at the boy and babbled at him

Ala looked up at the child

The little girl pouted and finally flew down, looking up at her mommy. "Otay..." She huffed.
The boy smiled and waved his hand, taking his thumb out of his mouth. "Hi..."

Vina smiled and turned to her father and mother, who had just stood up. "You've already met Alatariel... The boy is Krox Vox Daggerdancer..."

Ala chuckled and crouched down to their level "Good day" she said

Surion reached his little hand towards the boys'

The boy smiled and waved at Ala then reached out to Surion.
The little girl gave Ala a Raspberry and ran away giggling.

"Vina my dear I think you have a real handful there" she said looking up at her

Vina nodded. "You're telling me... It took me four hours to get her dressed..."

Torvil chuckled and smiled. "So love... Express way home? Or scenic flight?" He chuckled looking at Ala, bag still slung over his shoulder.

"You're in a rush..." she mused

Torvil frowned softly. "Well not quite..." He mused. "As nice as it is here... I'm going to need to fix that window..." He nodded his head slowly. "But if you want to stay longer I'm fine."

Vina smiled weakly. "Well..." She said softly. "You guys could come in..."

Ala nodded "I would like that I want to make sure my family is well before I take off" she said

Torvil nodded. "Alright lets head on in then..." He said softly, moving in, Vina following slowly.

Vina smiled and let him go. "Now come, lets get you three seated around the table... Dinner will be ready soon if Joman didn't torch it..."

Torvil chuckled softly.

Ala laughed and headed for the kitchen

Torvil followed, finding Joman quickly cutting off slightly charred parts of meat from the roast he'd been making. Torvil smirked and shook his head. "Boy, you need to learn how to cook..."

"Oh come off it... I was the son of a duke for Deity's sake! You think I ever lifted a finger for food?" Joman huffed.

"It shows..." Vina giggled.

Ala chuckled and took a seat sitting Surion on her lap

Torvil sat and waited for the food to be served.

The twins ate like animals, not that Vina ate much better...

Joman however, ate with a dignified grace that told of his highborn upbringing.

Torvil ate like he usually did, and that was how it went.

Ala ate as normal as well every now and then pulling tiny pieces off the meat using her fingers and teeth and giving them to her son who took them from her fingers most of the time just swallowing it

Torvil smiled and offered her some of the meat form his plate when he was done for Surion. He was after all a growing boy, and needed his energy.

The twins and Vina however, ate more than everyone at the table combined.

Ala chuckled and nodded continuing what she was doing

Torvil smiled and watched her feed Surion with a smile.

Finally Joman, the twins, and Vina finished their meal, and sat and watched Surion as well.

Ala and Surion finished mainly cause Ala wasn't one to like the center of attention

Torvil chuckled and kissed her cheek, and the room disbursed, the twins running away from their mother because it was bath time, and Joman to go clean up dinner.

Ala got up "Should we say our goodbyes?" she asked

Torvil smiled and brushed her cheek. "Yes lets..." He smiled, getting up and waving at Joman. "Goodbye son, see ya soon."

Joman smiled. "Bye dad... May you have a safe trip out."

"See you again soon Joman" Ala said and headed to hunt down her daughter and grandkids

Joman waved. "Bye mom!"

Torvil smiled and headed after the voices, the easiest way to track the twins....

Ala peeked around after nearing the voices "Now who is that I hear" she said quietly

Ala skidded to a stop in front of her, half naked and almost de-panted.
Krox stopped right behind her, almost exactly the same.

Torvil chuckled softly as Vina skidded to a stop behind them

"Now now, are you listening to your mommy?" Ala asked

Vina giggled. "Yes they are... Somewhat..."

Ala giggled. "Mommy said to go the the spring... She didn't say get in!"

Krox nodded.

"Then go get in you two sillies" she crouched down "And if you be really good and listen to mommy, next time grandma comes we can do more different tricks, how does that sound"

Ala giggled and clapped her hands. "Otay! otay!" She turned and ran back towards the spring.
Krox followed just as quickly.

Vina giggled. "Thanks mom..." She bowed. "I guess you guys are leaving huh?"

"Yeah we should get Surion home, we kinda left in a rush and didn't bring a whole lot with us" she said and gave her daughter a hug once she stood up "i'm proud of you and congrats"

Vina smiled. "Thanks mom, I couldn't have done it without you and dad helping me..." She smiled and hugged her back, giving her a kiss on the cheek. "I'll see you again soon right?"

Torvil smiled. "Of course dear... of course... Don't forget to write!"

"Definitely" Ala said "and it was our pleasure to help" she smiled

Vina smiled and patted Ala's cheek. "Go mom... Go... Before I order you to stay another day... and I can do that, you're citizens..." She smirked.Torvil chuckled softly.

Ala laughed and turned heading out he door "behave you guys and ... don't do anything I wouldn't" she winked at Vina and disappeared out of the cave

Vina laughed loudly and waved good bye as her father left too.Torvil caught up with her quickly and chuckled.

Ala smirked "Lets go get the rest of our stuff then go home"

Torvil chuckled and nodded, hurrying so they could get home faster.

Ala hurried after Torvil carrying Surion in her arms

Torvil walked backwards most of the way, a big grin on his face.

"What's that grin for?" she said with a laugh

Torvil chuckled. "You told her not to do anything you wouldn't do... That's a lot of stuff love..." He smirked. "You practically gave her free rein..."

"I know" Ala smirked

Torvil laughed. "God I love you..." He said with a smile. "Now lets get going..." He said, walking into their cave.

Ala grinned and laughed "Lets..."

Torvil quickly gathered all their stuff together and smiled. "Alright, blanket Lord Surion and we're good to roll..."

"Yup good to roll sooo lets vamoose" she said standing waiting for Surion to be covered

Torvil chuckled and tossed the blanket over Surion's head and put his arm on her shoulder.

Ala held the blanket down as Surion tried to push it off

Torvil just directly jumped them to save time, knowing it wouldn't scatter him too much... or so he hoped.

Ala noticed the direct jump and gave him a look when they landed

"Sorry..." He muttered. "Saved us time, and I'm fine... I think..." He closed his eyes and let his brain sort itself out.

Ala simply turned and walked away heading for their son's room

Torvil sighed and headed for the kitchen, moving to a place he knew Ala didn't know about. He had something hidden there that'd he'd been saving for just such and occasion.

Ala got Surion changed and put into bed then headed for their room and dropping onto the bed

Torvil came in a few minutes later with a card and a small box. He walked over to where Ala lay, and put them on her.

Ala looked up at him giving him a questioning look

Torvil pointed to the card and box, before kicking off his boots and laying beside her.

Ala lifted them and looked at the card first

The card was simple, you could tell Torvil had made it, on the front was 'Sorry' In big capital letters. On the inside there was a small block of script:
If you have this card, that means that I've done something stupid.Sorry... I hope you can still love me given the fact I'm a blockhead some times...Hope you like the present... I nabbed it while I was out and I wanted to wait till I screwed up to give it to you...Its not much, but I hope it makes you happy...- love,Torvil

Ala quirked a brow and opened the box to look within

In the box, was a golden necklace, with a small little heart pendant in it. The pendant turned out to be a locket with a picture of Torvil inside, and one other blank spot labeled. 'Baby picture here'.

Ala chuckled softly a small smile playing at her lips

Torvil was watching her, not daring to smile till he knew he was in the clear.

Ala sighed softly putting the stuff on her belly again "just keep your word in the future" she said quietly

Torvil nodded slowly and closed his eyes. "Sorry dear, I will..." He murmured very softly, his heart sinking a little.

"Thankyou" she said softly turning her head to look at him
