Ala's eyes went wide and looked between the two men

Torvil blinked. "Did... You run all the way here?" Joman nodded. "Went into labor... right after... you left..."

"Torvil hold your son for a moment" she said stuffing Surion into his father's arms and turning to run down the hall disappearing into her room coming out a moment later and running into Surion's room

Torvil held Surion and smiled at Joman. "We'll nether you there..."

Ala returned with a bag and Surion's blanket, the blanket she gave to Torvil

Torvil covered Surion's head with it and touched Joman.

"Joman close your eyes again" she said sounding minorly winded

Joman did so, but Torvil gave ala a look of 'let me jump us'

Ala nodded and put her hand on Torvil

Torvil jumped them quickly to outside Vina's cave, where he knew she was.

Ala let go of Torvil without a word and ran into the cave dropping the bag on the nearest surface

Joman followed quickly, and Torvil did so as well, pulling the blanket down. Vina lay on the pallet moaning, her eyes closed, and panting hard.

"Vina.." Ala said mainly to let her know they were there as she dropped to sit beside her on the pallet

"Mom?" Vina groaned. "Ohhh it hurts... it hurts so much... I think something's wrong... The healer was summoned just a few minutes ago... By grams... She went to go...OWWWW"

"Shhhhh, just focus on your babies" Ala said softly running her hand over her forehead. she looked at the males "someone wanna get cool water and a rag?

Joman was gone in a flash, to do as Ala ordered, and Torvil looked very concerned.

Ala gave him a look "Go find Surion a babysitter so you can help" she mouthed

Torvil nodded and speed off.

few minutes later

Torvil entered his mom's cave, looking about with Surion in his arms. He was in a little bit of a hurry, the emergency with Vina's labor and all. He found her at the table and smiled. "Hey mom..." He said softly.

Mitizimi looked up and smiled. "Torvil, what a pleasant surprise... Oh and you brought Surion... Where's Ala tho?" She asked, a bit concerned.

Torvil smiled. "With Vina helping her give birth... I need you to watch Surion while I help, if you don't mind..." He asked softly.

Mitizimi smiled. "Of course I don't mind..."

Surion clung to his father's shirt he could sense the stress his father felt right then

Torvil brushed his son's head. "I've really got to hurry... I have his bag here in case you need anything..." He said softly, slowly handing his son over to his grandmother.

Mitizimi smiled and took him, nodding her head.

Surion let go of his father's shirt slowly and reluctantly "Adahhdahhdahh?"

Torvil smiled and patted his cheek. "Daddy has to go help your big sister... He'll be back when he's done..." He kissed Surion's for head. "Be back soon!" He turned and waved as he left, leaving Mitizimi with Surion.

Surion stuck a finger in his mouth watching his father leave till he was out of sight before looking up at his grandma "aaahh??"

She smiled at him. "Well it's good to see you again Surion. My you've grown little man, I remember when I last saw you, you could barely hold your head up... Now you're starting to talk..." She smiled and brushed his cheek, before standing and headed for the kitchen.

Surion blinked then reached up towards her face further "AAaahhpppttt" he said smiling

Mitizimi smiled and lifted him up towards her face, putting him on the counter top lightly for a moment, smiling at him as she held him up.

Surion baby-grabbed at her cheeks and nose giggling and babbling at her

Mitizimi giggled and patted his cheek. "My, my, aren't we grabby now..." She smiled and put him on her hip as she went about making lunch for Korvil when he would be arriving home from a work break.

Surion giggled, one of his little hands clung to her shirt the other kept reaching for anything Mitizimi was holding

Mitizimi giggled, keeping anything sharp away from him, but letting him play a little with the safer stuff, like the tongs she used to flip meat over when she warmed it.

Surion thought this was all fun and giggled happily, very often anything she did let him get a hold of went into his mouth to be chewed on

Mitizimi smiled and gave him a small sliver of the warmed meat. "You hungry little one?" She smirked, bouncing him a little on her hip.

Surion's eyes twinkled and he grinned taking the food in his mouth and swallowing it almost immediately

Mitizimi giggled. "Be careful... You might choke and we don't want that..." She smiled and gave him another smaller sliver.

"Nyahnyahnyah" he said happily bouncing on her arm and swallowing the meat she gave, he wasn't aware of the factor of chewing quite yet

Mitizimi giggled and brought him out to the main room with the meat, putting the meat down and taking him to the couch, waiting for Korvil to get back home from work.

"drdrdrdrdr" he said and grabbed his little tail holding it like it was a prized possession

Mitizimi giggled and poked his nose softly. "Yes, Dragon..." She smiled brightly and kissed his little head.

Korvil entered and smiled. "Ah, I see we have a guest!"

Surion turned his torso at he sound of another voice and stared blinking for a moment before pointing "grgrgrgrgr"

Mitizimi giggled. "Your grandpa, Korvil..." She smiled and stood walking over to him, getting a kiss and smiling. "Hello love... Here hold your grand son." She handed Surion to him.

Korvil smiled and looked at Surion. "Hey there!"

Surion squealed happily bouncing in his grandfather's arms

Korvil smiled happily and nuzzled Surion before chuckling softly. "My aren't you the energetic one..."

Surion giggled when he was nuzzled and decided right then and there to give his grandfather a nice drooly baby-kiss

Korvil chuckled and purred. "Why thank you little one... I haven't had a kiss that drooly in ages..." He smirked and brushed the boy's cheek. "Now lets go see what grandmother is doing neh?" He smiled and entered the eating area, watching Mitizimi set the table for two, having planned on putting Surion in a watchable place on the table.

Surion clings to his grandfather's shirt watching where they are walking and what is happening

Korvil smiled and walked over to the table, putting Surion in the middle when he sat down.

Mitizimi soon joined him, smiling at Surion between them. She started serving up the meat.

Surion watched for a mere moment before rolling onto his belly and crawling across the table towards the edge and his grandfather

Korvil smiled and watched him get closer, making sure not to let him fall off the edge. He grinned and ate slowly, smiling at Mitizimi as he did.

Surion being adventurous went from wanting to look over the edge, to wanting to be near Korvil to wanting to explore his grandfather's meal all in random order babbling the entire time

Korvil chuckled and made sure he was there in case the child fell, he was used to the wanderings of children, he was after all a tenth generational grandfather...

Surion eventually got bored of the wandering and sat up looking around with a bored expression on his face

Korvil chuckled and patted the child's cheek with a smile. "Here... Grandpa will take you out for a walk..."

"grgrgrgrgr" Surion reached towards him "Aaaahppppttt"

Korvil chuckled and picked him up, holding him in his arms and moving towards the door. "Be back in a few love..." He called back to Mitizimi.

"Okay love!" she called back.

Surion squealed happily as he was picked up. and bounced lightly on his grandfather's arm gripping his shirt tightly

Korvil grinned, walking outside into the fading light. "Hrmmm... where too..." He mused. "Where too..." He tapped his chin with his free hand.

Surion let go a hand and reached up baby-slapping his grandfather's chin too

Korvil grinned and chuckled. "Well that's for the assist... Maybe I should just let you do it..." He chuckled, walking up the path.

Surion giggled keeping it up thinking it a game

Korvil grinned and started to kiss at the hand every time it landed on his chin, with a happy grinn.

Surion grinned giggling loudly the little kisses only adding to the 'game' he thought he was playing

Korvil chuckled and kept walking, letting Surion have his fun as they walked higher and higher into the cliffs, Korvil having to walk around some damage that had been caused by the earthquake.

Surion stopped his game and clung again to the shirt his grandfather wore looking around him

Korvil smiled and pointed. "That used to be up there..." He pointed at a higher rock face, then at the large rock next to them. "Yeah... We got shook up pretty bad... I bumped my head..."

Surion watched where his grandfather pointed curious but not really understanding

Korvil chuckled and kissed Surion's cheek before walking on, moving to his favorite spot, he went there to think...

Surion leaned against his grandfather as he walked a thumb stuffed into his mouth

Korvil smiled and stood on the top of this part of the cliffs. "You can see for miles from here..." He mused. "I like it..."

Surion's eyes look outward though he stays where he is

Korvil smiled and kissed his head. Turning around to head back down.

Partway back down the cliffs Surion begins doing grabby hand against his grandfather's shirt

Korvil chuckled. "Mmmm? What is it?" He looked down at the small child.

"Mmmmmmmm" he whined still grabby-handing his thumb firmly in his mouth

Korvil chuckled. "But I don't have anything to feed you with!" He smirked, guessing after having seen his wife handle the children before. He hurried back to the cave, hoping there was something Mitizimi could find.

Surion squirmed as they returned to the cave getting frustrated

Korvil handed him off to Mitizimi, who immediately sat him down on the couch and dug through the bag in search of something.

Surion whined and squirmed getting even further frustrated

Mitizimi came over a short time later and offered him some cereal, the tip of his blanket poking up out of the bag.

Surion pushed it away whining and doing grabby hands towards the bag

Mitizimi blinked and brought the bag over. "What do you want?" She asked softly, the tip of his blanket was just inches out of his reach.

Surion leaned his fingertip brushing the black corner that stuck out of the bag

Mitizimi giggled weakly. "Ah... I see..." She got his blanket and gave it to him with a smile.

Surion clung to it and pulled it close and closed his eyes leaning sideways to lay down

Mitizimi smiled and sat next to him, Korvil coming to flank his feet. She brushed Surion's head softly as Korvil softly brushed his side.

Surion was very quickly asleep sucking on that finger of his clinging ever so tightly to his blanket

They smiled and left him be for awhile, but stayed in the room, not wanting him to wake up alone.

Surion slept peacefully for a couple hours before he stirred and without any noises opened his eyes and sat up looking around

They didn't turn to look at him, they were talking and smiling, planning to have another batch of kids.... Thanks to Surion.

Surion rolled unto his belly and backed towards the edge of the couch and was soon hanging half it away. gripping the cushion tightly he dropped to the floor and looked around again before rolling onto his belly and crawling away across the room in search of something to play with

The sound of him dropping to the floor alerted them and they got up, seeing he was no longer asleep. They spied him making a b-line for the other end of the room, and intercepted.

Surion looked up as pairs of legs appeared in front of him "Aaaahh?"

Mitizimi leaned down and picked him up. "And where do you think you're going little man?"

"Aaappphhttt" he raspberried and baby-slapped her chest

Mitizimi giggled and carried him towards their bedroom, Korvil smiled and followed, chuckling softly.

Surion stuck a finger in his mouth and watched curiously where they were going

Mitizimi put him down on the bed and gave him a small rag doll like toy to play with as Korvil went to hunt for others.

Surion took the toy and a leg of it went directly into his mouth and he proceeded to chew it "Nyahnyahnyah"

Mitizimi giggled softly and sat with him as Korvil came in with a few more rag toys, not all that many, but over a few clutches, children tend to lose things.

Surion giggled and switched from one to the next each getting a good chewing no a limb as he went

The two smield and watched him with happy giggles or chuckles.

Mitizimi finally had to get up to go fix some food.

Surion eventually stopped and crawled closer to his grandfather "grgrgrgrgr" he said reaching for his grandfather's hand

Korvil smiled and offered his hand to Surion. "This what you want?" he asked softly.

Surion grabbed his hand by the finger pulling it towards himself intent on chewing it too

Korvil chuckled and let him, what could be the harm? The child chewed on everything and anything...

Surion chewed his little teeth piercing the skin a few times

Korvil chuckled. "My... That tickles..." He brushed the boy's cheek softly.

After a lil while Surion stopped chewing and simply sat there looking up at his grandfather still holding his finger in his mouth and sucking on it like he would his own thumb

Korvil chuckled softly. "Like the taste of my finger eh?" He asked softly.

Surion's tail swings happily and he smiles sucking still

Korvil chuckled and kissed Surion's forehead. "Okay, when you're done with my finger let me know.." He grinned.

After a while Surion did let go of the finger squealing happily

Korvil chuckled and noticed a few of the cuts on his finger. "Uhhhhhhh..." He looked at Surion for a moment.

Surion giggled happily and clapped his hands together before rolling and heading back towards the stuffed toys

Korvil blinked and shrugged it off... Maybe he was imagining things.

Surion chewed a toy for a while then pulled it from his mouth the end of the limb he'd been chewing on was now lightly stained red

Korvil just about fainted, falling off the bed with a loud thud, that brought Mitizimi running.

"Aaahhppptt?" Surion stared blinking and confused

Mitizimi saw her husband and the toy and shook her head. "My, my..." She mused, Like Vina..."

Surion blinked looking back and forth completely confused

Mitizimi smiled and giggled, moving over to get him. "It's okay little one, grandpa's just sleeping..."

"grgrgrgrgrgr" he said pointing at his grandfather

She smiled and moved putting him down on Korvil's chest for Korvil to wake up.

Surion squealed and baby-clapped his grandfather's chest

Korvil slowly woke and blinked. "Ugwah?" He saw Surion and smiled. "Oh... Hello... Are you going to drink more of my blood?" It seemed that he was over the whole blood drinking thing.

"grgrgrgrgrdrdrdrdr" Surion babbled happily

Korvil smiled and reached up, stroking Surion's cheek with a smile.

Surion giggled happily and bounced on his chest

Korvil chuckled and smiled, patting his cheek more with a grin as he slowly sat up.

Surion slid down his grandfathers chest as he sat up he sat watching him for a moment and began scrunching up his nose

Korvil chuckled and picked him up, moving over to go and change him.

Surion looked up at him a finger in his mouth, once laying to change, like with his father he tried to roll and get away

Korvil chuckled softly and used a hand to keep him still, yeah, some things are genetic.

Surion squealed and tried anyways

Korvil chuckled softly and kept him there until he was finished, once he was done he let him go.

Surion immediately rolled and started to crawl away

Korvil laughed and moved, snatching him up and putting him down on the floor.

Surion babbled and crawled away in search of more things to explore

Korvil chuckled and followed him with a smile, Mitizimi watching from the couch as she sew some new clothes.

Surion giggled looking up to see he was being 'chased' and kept going, around furniture, under tables poking head into shelves etc

Korvil chuckled and followed him around, happy that his grand child was having fun. He smiled at Mitizimi who smiled back, still sewing.

Surion kept up his exploring for a good hour wearing himself out completely as he finally stopped and rolled onto his back stuffing his thumb in his mouth

Korvil chuckled softly and went to go get his blanket.

"grgrgrgrgr!" he said as his grandfather walked away from him.. His free hand making grabby hands in the air

Korvil chuckled and came back quickly with Surion's blanket, kneeling down to wrap him up in in.

Surion took hold of a corner sucking on his thumb sleepily

Korvil smiled and carried him to the couch where his wife was.

Surion cuddled up against his grandfather and closed his eyed

Korvil smiled and sat down next to Mitizimi who was sewing something for him.

"Isn't he just the sweetest thing?" She asked.

Korvil nodded and smiled. "Yeah..."

Surion quickly fell asleep

Korvil smiled and talked with Mitizimi while the child slept. They did not know how long it would be till Torvil returned.

When Mitizimi finished her sewing Korvil handed Surion off to her, and went to go sleep.

Surion slept through being handed off squirming for a matter of a moment to get re-comfortable

Mitizimi smiled and brushed his cheek, smiling softly, wondering when Torvil would come back.

A while later Surion stirred waking up

Mitizimi smiled softly. "Mornin' sunshine..." She smiled, kissing his forehead.

Surion babbled happily as if replying to her

Mitizimi smiled and kissed his forehead again. "Aw, aren't you sweet..."

Surion giggled and reached for her nose

Mitizimi smiled and let him, feeling very lax about it.

Surion played with her nose and her face giggling happily at least until he got hungry

Mitizimi smiled. "What's wrong little sunshine?" She smiled softly. "You can't be sleepy?"

"aaaaahhh" Surion voiced looking up at her and swinging his arms

Mitizimi giggled and started rooting through his bag, offering him toys, and other things.

Surion turned them all down

Mitizimi finally got the the cereal, offering him some of it dry.

Surion looked at it as if she was crazy

Mitizimi shook her head, and got a bowl, pouring some milk on it, and offering some of it to him with a spoon that was packed along.

Surion clapped his hands and opened his mouth

Mitizimi smiled and started to spoon in food. "Now swallow, don't you even think of spitting it back out..." She smirked.

Surion took that as an invitation to giggle and blow a raspberry with the spoon in his mouth

Mitizimi giggled loudly and pulled the spoon out, giving him a soft tap upside the head with it. "No..."

Surion pouted and whimpered looking up at her

Mitizimi kissed his forehead, spooning him another bit.

Surion stared at her for a moment then opened his mouth again

Mitizimi smiled and gave him another spoonful. "Now be a good boy and grandma will get you something special..."

Surion ate his cereal staring at her with every bite

Mitizimi smiled softly at him, finally finishing up the cereal, and picking him up, moving towards the outdoors.

Surion clung to her top as she carried him

"Sorry sunshine, but you weren't behaving... but since you've been a good boy..." She headed down the path. "I'm gonna get you a special treat..."

Surion watched where they were walking

Mitizimi took him down to the market, looking around. "Alright Surion, what do you want..." She smiled.

Surion looked up at her "Aaahh?"

Mitizimi giggled and headed over to the toy booth, turning Surion so he could see the selection.

Surion stared down at the table one finger in his mouth the other clinging over his shoulder to his grandmother's shirt

Mitizimi smiled. "Take your time..." She grinned, knowing she'd not tell Torvil or Ala about it, wanting to spoil Surion.

Surion looked up at her for a moment and looking back at the booth and it's owner

The Booth owner smiled, isolating a selection Surion might like, rag toys and a few small toy practice swords.... More like sticks.

Surion took his finger from his mouth "Aaahhh" he said waving it around

Mitizimi giggled and guessed the average amount of space it would all take up. "Wrap them all up and put them on my tab, I'll be back to pay later..." The booth owner smiled and started to do so.

"Aaahhhaaahhhahhh" Surion bounced in her grip, he didn't exactly know what was going on but it excited him regardless

Mitizimi giggled and gave him one of the rag dolls to play with as she took the bundle of toys back towards home with her.

Surion chewed the toy happily as she walked

Mitizimi kissed his forehead softly as she neared the cave again.

Surion giggled happily using a free hand to playfully bat at her chin

Mitizimi giggled and kissed his hand when it came into range, putting the bundle of toys down in the bottom of his bag, under all the other things.

Surion babbled playfully

Mitizimi smiled and nuzzled him, sitting back on the couch, but not before tucking the rag figure on his body somewhere where Torvil wouldn't find it till later.

Surion squealed and tried to get it back

Mitizimi smiled and gave it back to him. "Okay, you can play with it a little longer, but when daddy gets back you have to hide it..."

Surion stuffed the toy back in his mouth chewing on it

Mitizimi giggled and kissed his forehead.

Surion looked up at her "nyahnyahnyah" he said around the leg of the doll

Mitizimi smiled and headed for the kitchen to work on some dinner.

Ala nodded and they quickly reached Mitizimi's house "Mom?" she called out walking in

"In here..." She called, coming out of the kitchen with Surion in her arms. "I think I put him to sleep... I was humming..." She brought him over. "He adores that blanket... I couldn't get it away from him."

Ala laughed "Yes he wants it all the time, and humming does put him to sleep" she said with a chuckle reaching for her son "You have two new great grandchildren to add to your collection of great grandchildren" Ala told her

Mitizimi giggled. "Glorious..." She handed Surion off to Ala. "Would you like to sleep here... You look ready to keel over..."

"Our cave isn't far off we should be good, but thanks" she replied softly

Mitizimi nodded and smiled. "Okay... Well I'll see you in a few..." She waved before heading back to the kitchen.

Ala nodded "Thanks mom" she said and headed back out of the cave hauling Torvil with her

Torvil didn't fight he just followed, to wasted to say anything right then, but just to follow her lead.

They soon reached their own cave and she dropped the bag near the door and headed straight for the pallet resting Surion on it then stripping and crawling in

Torvil followed suit, laying so that Surion was between them, much like at home. He purred and hugged the two close to him before he literally passed out from exhaustion and relief.

Ala fell asleep very quickly as well tired not only for the long time awake but from using her powers for so long
