Ala sat in her home's living room staring at the fireplace, her face was filled with worry. Her son lay on his back on his blanket i the middle of the floor , she could just see him there laying and playing with his dragon

CRASH! Loud vehement swearing and the sound of someone fighting with bed-sheets issued forth from the bedroom. The voice was Torvil's, and the crash had been him falling from the bed as he'd awoken from is long sleep.

Ala was very startled, she scooped up Surion and hurried to the bedroom to find the source of the crash

Torvil stood up rubbing his head. "Oh my head... And my Ass!" He growled, not noting the suddenly thrashing tail that had sprouted in his changing sleep.

Ala's eyes were wide as she stared at the sight before her. Surion rested on her hip as she did

He brushed his hair, his ears, not pointed like Ala's where very visible through his hair. "What is it love? How long have I been asleep?" He yawned, his tail swaying lazily.

"Almost ... three days...." she stuttered her eyes fixated on the movement behind him

"Holy hell! I might have Missed something!" He growled, his tail flicking about and smacking him in the back of the head. He whipped around. "What the hell was that?!"

Ala pointed with her tail as both her hands held their son and she was rather speechless

Torvil turned again and noted where she pointed he looked down and his eyes went wide. "Uhhh, how did that get there..."

"I don't know" Ala finally got out

"ADAAHHHDAHHHDAHHH" Surion was waving his little arms towards his father

Torvil smiled and walked to Surion, using his tail to brush his son's face with a bright smile. "Hey there... Daddy miss anything while he was sleeping?"

"Yes...." Ala said biting her lip her eyes threatening to spill over with tears

Torvil brushed her cheek with his hand. "What did I miss?" He sighed softly, sadly.

"Your son learned to roll over" she said, but the skill wasn't what was causing her to cry, it was more her relief that he had finally woken up

Torvil smiled softly and kissed her just as softly. "Too bad I missed it huh?" He sighed again and rested his forehead against hers, his tail softly brushing Surion's cheek as his hand caressed His wife's face.

Surion got his clutches on his father's tail and it automatically went into his mouth to be gummed on.

Ala tears finally spilt over and she clung to him

Torvil held her close, brushing his hair. "Sorry..." He whispered softly. "I'm so very sorry I made you worry... I know why I fell asleep... Now... For that long..." He hugged her tight and brushed her hair, and then turned his head to smile at Surion.

Ala buried her face in his chest not wanting to let go

Torvil just held her and started to hum. "Ala... I love you very much, and I am still very upset about sleeping that long... But you do need to let me go so I can go get something to eat... Or your neck is forfeit..."

Ala sniffled and nodded letting go of him and backing away a step

Surion started up at his father "Nyanyanyanya" came his little voice as he gummed the tail

Torvil smiled and brushed Surion's cheek, his tail slipping away. He stopped, grabbed the back of Ala's head, pulling her into a strong kiss, putting all of his love and want of her into it, before breaking and running to the kitchen, were the sound of mass activity was soon heard.

Ala looked down at her son "Crib time for you" she said carrying him over to the crib and placing him down in it before leaving the room and following her mate to the kitchen

Torvil was cooking about five things at once, and doing a good job at it too. He had so much going on he didn't notice Ala joining him.

Ala stood in the kitchen door for a time, realizing she wasn't being noticed she sighed quietly and turned leaving the room and walking into the living room and sitting down again

"Ala..." Torvil said softly as she sat down, his voice carrying just enough. "Come here please... I need you..."

Ala looked towards the kitchen and with only a moments hesitation got up again and headed back to the kitchen stopping in the doorway

Torvil was standing at the stove. "Hug..." He murmured. "I missed you..." He said softly. "I need you..." Red drops were falling into the pot he was stirring.

Ala walked over to him wrapping her arms around him from behind

Torvil's tail slithered and wrapped her waist tightly, pulling her closer even.

Ala cried softly into his back she didn't want that to ever happen again

Torvil stopped cooking, turning everything off to cool a little so he could eat. He unwrapped her waist and turned, pulling her close and lifting her chin to kiss her strongly, wishing never again to have the change take him...

Ala held him close one hand behind his neck holding him in the kiss

Torvil's tail brushed her back, it was much longer than hers and seemed much more agile and the tip was slightly smaller than hers. His tail then wrapped itself around her waist again, just below his arms.

Ala finally broke the kiss and simply buried her face into his chest her own tail too looping around them both

Torvil's tail snaked it's way around hers, enwrapping it and sliding against it as he slowly brushed her hair with his fingers. "I love you so much..." He murmured. "I will never let that happen again..."

"So worried" she said quietly sweating not to let go of him

Torvil hugged her tighter. "I'm sorry..." He buried his face in her hair. "I'm so sorry..." He hugged her tighter and started to sob softly into her hair.

Ala nodded "you're forgiven" she whispered

Torvil smiled softly and still cried, more from the sadness of missing something that Surion had learned. "Can we... uh... put Surion down later and have him roll over... And pretend it was the first time?"

Ala nodded still not wanting to let go of him at all

Torvil smiled softly. "Thanks..." He murmured, lifting her chin to give her a soft kiss before holding her closer. "I don't want you to let go..."

"Nor me you love" she whispered she could hear Surion talking in his crib but that didn't change that fact

Torvil picked her up and walked her to their bedroom. "I'm scared to sleep now..." He said softly, sitting them next to the crib so he could watch Surion.

"I dont think I got a lot of sleep myself the last couple days" she told him

Surion looked up at them waving his arms around

Torvil smiled weakly. "Surion seems to be taking it better than the both of us..." He murmured.

"Don't think he quite knew the difference" she said softly

Surion blew bubbles watched them for a few minutes then rolled to look at them from a different angle

Torvil gasped softly and beamed, hugging Ala close. "He rolled! Did you see that he rolled!" He grinned. "That's my boy..." He hugged Ala tighter and nuzzled her neck softly Torvil rolled them and pushed her roughly to the bed, growling still. "How... With... Sur?" He grunted slowly.

Ala opened her eyes and looked up at him "Wha?"

Torvil moved his head toward the crib. "Want... Take... Sur... Awake..." He growled low and huskily.

"Put him in the playpen then... it's set up in his room" she said softly

Torvil nodded and got up, moving quickly to the crib and pulling Surion out. He smiled, entering father mode, even if his pants told a different story. He walked Surion out into his room and put him down in his playpen with some toys and made sure he could hear him from where he was before running back to the bed room.

*Some time later*

Surion could be heard squawking if one were to listen for him

Torvil panted. "Surion..." he muttered.

"He doesn't like... loud voices" she said panting heavily

Torvil nodded softly. "Door open... He can hear us..." He grunted, tossing on his robe and heading to comfort their son.

Ala nodded and just lay relaxing letting Torvil comfort his son, something he hadn't done in a few days

Torvil picked up Surion and rocked him softly, singing a soft lullaby

Surion slowly calmed and reached up at his dad "Aaahhhdaahdaaahdahhhdaaahh"

Torvil smiled and carried him back to his and Ala's room.

Ala lay sprawled on the bed still basking in the feelings and not wanting to move.

Surion reached for his father's white hair trying to catch a lock

Torvil chuckled and lay Surion down in his crib before going to Ala.

Ala purred softly and turned her head to look at him before rolling o her side and cuddling closer to him

Torvil purred softly, running his hand up and down her body.

"I missed you" she said softly

Torvil sighed. "I missed you too..." he held her close. "Though I did not know I was gone so long..."

"Too long" she replied barely audible to the naked ear

Torvil hugged her tighter and nuzzled her. "I shall strive not to do it again..." He murmured.

Ala's eyes closed as she cuddled very closely, she hadn't been lying when she told him she hadn't been sleeping the previous couple days

Torvil brushed her hair and whispered. "Sleep..."

Ala nodded slowly and did just that

Torvil smiled and lay awake, not needing the sleep.

Surion watched his parents through the side of his crib then stuck his thumb in his mouth cling to his blanket and dozed off

Torvil smiled and got slowly, he'd not eaten yet, so he decided to do just that.
