Torvil yawned and stretched, slowly rolling off the pallet to go start breakfast.

Ala dozed lightly having been up and down many times though the night to feed her son

Torvil cooked breakfast, letting Ala rest for now. She needed her sleep, and he wished that he could feed their son so she could sleep, but right now that wasn't do able.

Surion babbled happily gumming his dragon in the playpen kicking his little feet just as happily

Torvil smiled and moved over, bending down and picking up Surion.

Surion kept babbling happily looking up at his father as he gummed the toy

Torvil smiled and rocked Surion as he headed back to the kitchen to finish up breakfast one armed.

He reached up with a free hand and batted at his chin

Torvil chuckled, and flipped the meat again, going for a little more cooked today than usual. "Morning Lil Surion..." He hadn't noticed he was starting to scruff.

"Nyanyanyana" he was enjoying the feeling of his father's chin and kept batting at it

Torvil chuckled and smiled at Surion, finally finishing up the meat and slapping them on plates. "So how are you Surion?"

Surion blew bubbles around the tail of his toy and latched his hand onto a lock of his father's white hair

Torvil winced but chuckled. "You've got a strong grip..." He smiled, and moved the meat to the table and sat down. "Should we let mommy sleep a little more or wake her up?"

Surion just playfully moved his arm around at the length of the hair before pulling it to his mouth with the toy

Torvil chuckled and smiled, leaning his head a little so Surion could have more give on the hair.

Surion gummed on his father's hair along with the dragon

Torvil purred, slowly eating with one hand, letting Ala sleep for the time being, he could always heat up her food.

Ala yawned and opened her eyes sitting up and stretching

Torvil smiled finishing his up and standing up with Surion to go put his dishes away.

Ala wandered into the kitchen area "Mornin"

Torvil smiled. "Mornin', breakfast is on the table. It might be a bit cool, I'll heat it if you want." He shifted Surion in his arm.

"Thanks love" she said with a smile seeing him holding his son

Torvil smiled and scratched at his face for a moment before shift Surion a little again. "No prob."

Surion finally let go of the hair swinging his arms around causing the dragon to go flying too

Torvil chuckled and moved to go get the dragon that had flew off, still holding Surion.

Ala chuckled "Looks like you are having fun love"

Torvil smiled. "Yeah..." He knelt and picked up the dragon.

Surion babbled happily for a moment before stopping and scrunching up his little nose

Torvil chuckled and stood back up, then moved to go change Surion.

Ala finished her food and followed after him "How long you two been up" she asked softly

Torvil chuckled. "Long enough to cook breakfast..."

Ala smiled and leaned over him from behind and placed a kiss on his cheek

Torvil purred and got to changing Surion's bottom.

"You make a wonderful father love" she purred

Torvil smiled. "Thanks..." he finished up with Surion and picked him up again

"When is the hunters due back?" she asked looking up at him after he stood

Torvil chuckled. "A few more days..." He sighed. "Joman's going to be very tired when he gets back..."

Ala frowned "Well that sucks... how long are we staying this time?"

"Till they get back... No more than a week though..." He chuckled softly.

Ala smiled "Good I'd hate for your father to miss out on meeting his grandson"

Torvil nodded. "I think they won't be too much longer."

Ala smiled "So what shall we do today my love"

Torvil chuckled. "Whatever you want..." He shifted Surion again to both arms.

Ala chuckled "I don't know what I want to do, besides seeing how the services have changed I suppose..."

Torvil chuckled and nodded. "Shall we have a look?"

"We shall" she turned to look out of the cave unsure even what time it was

"The sun was rising when I got up..."

Ala nodded "sooo that would mean still early? or too late for service...."

"We're early, unless they changed the times..."

Ala nodded "Well I'm gonna get changed then we can get our day started" she said heading for where her clothing was stored

Torvil nodded and went about taking care of Surion for the time being

Ala hummed and changed then came back carrying the Maya wrap "He hungry yet love?"

Torvil did a root check, brushing his fingers against his son's cheek

Surion immediately went after the fingers touching his cheek

Torvil nodded. "Yeah, voraciously so it looks like."

Ala chuckled "Do we have time to feed here or do we need to feed and walk" she asked

Torvil chuckled. "Probably feed and walk..." The bell sounded.

Ala nodded and pulled the wrap over her head and took Surion from his father "Grab his blanket love" she said as she set Surion to feed

Torvil nodded and moved to get it. He grabbed it and purred.

Ala headed out of the cave humming a soft Dragonic lullaby

Torvil smiled and followed her, draping Surion's blanket over her shoulders.

"Thanks love" she said "Much as I know the cliffs need that meat I'm glad you are back"

Torvil chuckled. "The others will pick up my slack..." He nuzzled her cheek.

Ala chuckled and turned her head kissing him softly as they walked

Torvil purred and pulled away slowly. "So, what else did I miss while I was gone?

"Not much really, the new blankets, the temple stuff, Dia showing up... that's about it.." she said

Torvil nodded and smiled, walking towards the temple and noting the strangely soothing aura of it.

"Feels different" she mused

Torvil nodded and gasped when he entered it. The alter was gone, and the statue was all that remained, the pews too were gone, and all the people were just kinda, mulling about, talking.

"Woah.... quite the change" she said after looking around

Torvil nodded and looked around. "Odd..."

"But what Visah wanted." Said a young voice.

Ala nodded "I remember" she said sitting Surion up in the carrier when he was finished and giving him his blanket

Torvil smiled. "I see they moved a priest up."

"Yes they did... One that will actually listen to the dreams..." He chuckled.

Ala chuckled "I just listen to the voice" she was still looking around but was smiling her tail moving lazily around her legs

Torvil chuckled. "That's true..."

The priest chuckled. "We are not as lucky as you..."

Ala chuckled "I think we are all lucky to have her no matter what form we hear her in"

The priest nodded. "Aye... That we are..."

Torvil grinned and scooted closer to Ala.

Ala chuckled and wrapped her arm around his waist from the side

Surion babbled happily where he sat gumming his blanket

Torvil grinned and brushed his son's face as the pries bowed and left.

"Big changes come here, and honestly I'm glad" she mused

Torvil chuckled. "Yeah... Good changes... I've yet to see a bad one since I've returned..."

Ala chuckled "Very true... maybe that's what Visha meant..." she said quietly

Torvil cocked a brow. "I still don't get why you called me Messiah... Even with the memory..."

"She said her chosen was the father of this child" she pointed to Surion "I only know one man who I've even slept with let alone had as the father of this child"

Torvil nodded slowly. "Well then..." Suddenly it dawned on him. "Wait..." He blinked. "You mean I was..." He looked around.

"That's what she said......" Ala said with a nod

Torvil chuckled.

"Surprised you are just getting it.... but then I'm half surprised no one has said anything... ok only partially after Visha's appearance" she smiled

Torvil grinned. "My mind's been elsewhere..." He brushed Surion's head.

"Care to hold your son?" she said giggling knowing he probably would want to

Torvil nodded slowly. "If I can..." he murmured.

"Course you can" she said with a chuckle lifting her son from the carrier and handing him and the blanket to Torvil

Torvil purred and took his son, rocking him gently back and forth while humming.

Ala smiled and shifted the carrier on her hip and decided to mingle as well

Torvil smiled as she went about her mingling, holding Surion.

Some of the mothers from the other day were there chatting.

Ala wandered towards the mothers she recognized as ones she had spoken to "Morning" she greeted them

"Morning! Good to see you again! How are you doing. Are the men home? I see your hubby is..."

Ala shook her head "No only mine is, they asked him to come home"

The others giggled. "What he do, let all the animals go?" said the one that she was talking with.

"No caught more then all of them... " Ala chuckled softly

A few whistled and looked at him like one would a large steak. "Nice..."

Ala laugh softly seeing the gazes the woman used

The one smiled. "You are a very lucky woman..."

"I like to agree, he's put up with a lot from me, especially when I was pregnant" she mused

They chuckled. "Aren't they supposed to?" A few grinned, and the one continued. "What I meant was, even though he's short he's still very attractive..."

Ala laughed "I'm not all that tall either, compared to you ladies"

A few smirked. "Yeah... But I guess that works out well doesn't it?"

Ala laughed "Yes it does, least for me"

They chuckled and winked at her. "Well we're quite happy with our mates... Yours is a tad short for our tastes..."

"To each their own" she said with a laugh

They all nodded. "Aye..."

Ala smiled "much different now in here" she mused looking around

They nodded. "The boys did it when the new priest asked them too... They did a good job..."

"I agree, hopefully now everything will be better then it had been" she said "I hated hearing my daughter slammed like that"

"We all did... But who's to argue with a priest?" They said softly. "The threat of being ousted form the church is a fear he used often..."

"I would have if I heard it again" she said with a sigh "Probably would have if Visha hadn't stepped in, My son is no messiah"

They smiled softly. "But according to Visha that very hunky male over there is..." They chuckled softly

Ala laughed "Or was. She said the chosen came and went. In other words, what job Torvil had is over"

They all nodded and smiled. "How does it feel, being the mate to a once important figure?"

"Nothing out of the ordinary considering I didn't know that when I met him nor did I know it till only a couple days ago.." she shrugged

They grinned. "So, aside from yesterday's little mishap, how did you day go?"

Ala chuckled "It went well a friend of mine came and visited"

"That's nice..." they smiled. "We don't get many visitors..."

Ala nodded "So I've heard"

They smiled and nodded, then pointed at Torvil. "He's calling you..."

Torvil was waving in their direction.

Ala chuckled and nodded and headed towards him

Torvil held Surion out towards her. "He's hungry again..." he muttered.

Ala smiled softly and took her son "k Love, thanks I will get him fed"

Torvil nodded and handed him over, with a lightly sigh.

Ala leaned forward and kissed his cheek and started to feed Surion

Torvil purred softly and kissed her as she fed him. Then sighed again. "It's hard... I want to hold him all the time... But I know you need more time with him then I..."

"I do not need more then you Torvil..." Ala told him

Torvil sighed softly. "Are you sure?" He asked softly.

Ala nodded "neither of us need more then the other, we share"

Torvil nodded and smiled softly at her.

Ala purred softly looking up at him

Torvil leaned in and kissed her cheek.

Ala smiled feeding her son, once done she pulled him away "Care to burp your son?"

Torvil smiled. "Would love too..." he took Surion and proceeded to burp him.

Ala smiled softly as he took Surion, she was glad he wanted to be part of this all this

Torvil smiled and patted Surion's back as he moved gently. "I'm glad we were blessed..."

"Very love, very.... " Ala purred softly

Torvil smiled, and offered Surion back to her once he'd been burped.

"You want to hold him more?" Ala asked

"A little yes... But I've had him for a bit..." he murmured.

"Ok love...." she said softly taking Surion from him

Torvil smiled softly at her. "He was getting heavy too..." He admitted weakly.

"He's growing" she said with a smile

Torvil nodded. "Shall we go see if Surion will nap..." He chuckled. "And ourselves as well?"

Ala nodded "Yes lets"

Torvil smiled and started for home, walking slow for Ala to keep up with Suri.

Ala put Surion in his carrier and walked along with her mate

Torvil smiled and put an arm around her, kissing her and Surion at different intervals

Ala purred loudly happily

Torvil walked them to the cave and smiled, entering, and heading for the pallet, which he pulled next to the playpen

Ala placed her son in the playpen he was already asleep

Torvil smiled and lay down on the pallet and waited for Ala

Ala crawled into the pallet with him and cuddled close

Torvil purred and shut his eyes. "Love you..."

"Love you too" she purred and closed her eyes to take a nap with him

Torvil napped happy.
